The best restaurants in Bournemouth South West

Arrived around 4pm for coffee with colleague. At 5pm on the dot, staff member walked past & simply said "we are closed now", then walked off. No smile, thanks or any thought of customer service. Just rude!!

Home cooked food from breakfast to tea time. Beautifully presented & nothing is too much trouble.

I visited when the restaurant was quiet, I was the only customer so I’m really disappointed by the poor customer service I experienced. I was very clear when placing my order, yet when I got home, I found they had forgotten both my salad and the extra chillies I specifically asked for. That was no problem until I drove back to sort it out, and the blonde man serving was extremely rude when I politely explained the issue. It’s a real shame because the food itself was delicious. However, as a first-time customer, this experience has put me off completely and I won’t be returning.

We had 5 people in our group, 3 wanted bacon and cheese panini 2 had sausage panini, 4 came out close together and 1sausage panini came out after 30minutes and the sausage was not cooked properly. Will not be going to that cafe again.

Great place for a group meal. It was a birthday get together and Julia was very thoughtful in sorting a special surprise.

There are many Indian restaurants to choose from in Westbourne, and Indis is by far the best for the varied menu including fish and the phenomenal service from the team. Look no further in Westbourne for your curry needs!

I love this place! Delicious food, big portions, friendly helpful staff, comfortable atmosphere. I can't wait to go back again as there is nothing in the area that comes close.

This was a favourite bustling place with cakes & pastries to die for plus a great breakfast. Now on what would have been a busy day it’s half empty, self service & nothing to tempt us on the cake counter. Only good point is it’s still dog friendly!

staff very friendly the food was very good and the salad bar was constantly being refilled and cleaned ,since the refit the resteraunt feels cosy and inviting we normally go to the Sea Horse because it is very close to me but my last few visits very disappointing so we will NOT be going back there

Had a booking for dinner on chillsauce, music was so loud at 7pm you can’t hear anything else. Staff ignoring people at bar waiting for drinks and chatting. Worst bar in Bournemouth. We left without spending a penny.

Tuvimos un almuerzo encantador aquí con vistas a la playa y el mar. El personal es amable. Comida preparada. Más barato que el pub "cadena" al otro lado del camino y más personal y acogedor.

El personal es fabuloso y amable y la gran elección de comida, especialmente para sin gluten. Preciosos cócteles y vino. Incluso nos dieron un pequeño pudín de celebración ya que era mi cumpleaños de amigos. Maravillosa experiencia.

Mi hija y dos nietos vinieron aquí a medio término para el trato de la comida, el lugar estaba ocupado, nuestra orden tomada rápidamente, pero después de larga espera para los niños entrantes, fueron otros 40 minutos más tarde para mi pizza grasienta bajo cocinado y las hijas ensalada de pollo seco e insípido aparecer. El camarero fue v disculparse y nos dieron descuento del gerente, pero eso no es excusa para que la cocina no esté totalmente preparada. No recomendaría ni volvería aquí.
