Turkish Grill in Bournemouth

I visited when the restaurant was quiet, I was the only customer so I’m really disappointed by the poor customer service I experienced. I was very clear when placing my order, yet when I got home, I found they had forgotten both my salad and the extra chillies I specifically asked for. That was no problem until I drove back to sort it out, and the blonde man serving was extremely rude when I politely explained the issue. It’s a real shame because the food itself was delicious. However, as a first-time customer, this experience has put me off completely and I won’t be returning.

Food is okay but as a regular customer they are really really bad at providing a decent amount of salad. They need to go back to previous standards as it has been terrible for a while now.

The food came within the delivery window, but it was quite a long time. It was worth the wait though as the pizza was nicely topped and a good base. The mixed kebab I had was very nice - the chilli sauce had a good kick. The sauces were put on the meat, but I would have preferred to have them in a pot on the side. The pita was nice and fresh as well as a good size.

Good flavours but quantity & quality did not match price.

The food was okay, a bit cold when it arrived and the lamb meat was sort of limp as if it had been undercooked. The driver practically threw the bag at me and ignored instructions not to ring the doorbell as the kids were asleep.

I only had the chips and salad tho only criticism I have are your chips are hard. If you could make sure they are a little softer then they would be more enjoyable

Great kabab best in Bournemouth

Used here for the 1st time and we were not disappointed. 2 chicken doner wraps and chips. Delivery was great. Food arrived well wrapped and hot. The chicken was moist and tasted amazing. Definitely our new takeaway treat. Thank you so much.

Easily my fave just eat restaurant, always on time, never had anything wrong and the food, despite being a kebab, tastes clean and FAR less oily than from others. So pleased we found this place, it's great!

Shish kebab costing £9.50 consisted of 5pieces of meat no salad delivered large chips were small chips £38 spent and this particular kebab went in the bin very disappointed

Firstly, I want to say the food was very nice, kebab a tad greasy but very good! The only thing I’m very disappointed with is that I paid £10.60 for a large donner kebab coupled with the £4.50 delivery fee and the kebab was barely a small….. I’m not even joking. You would get much more meat in a kids meal at McDonald’s so on that note I probably won’t be ordering again purely based on the portion sizes for that price. So providing they up their game on portions I’d recommend buying. Pic taken.

Such a good experience at the turkish grill tonight! Have to say, we are coming back next time we visit Bournemouth! Good quantity, great customer service. They made us feel at home. We got a chicken shish and chicken done with chips and it was soo good🥰 definitely recommended for everyone looking for good food, and great vibes! 🙌🏻💯 also, chips were exceptionally crunchy and yum😛

Good food , just be aware the sauce is poured on top of the food. It doesn’t come in the separate pots.

Good taste in the kebab but you missed part of the order. Cheese was added to 1 kebab but didn’t arrive separately nor was it on the kebab itself. There was also hardly any chilli sauce despite 2x options selected.

I usually order from Turkish Grill and the food and service is amazing however tonight was a disaster. I had ordered a Kebab Wrap Meal and the wrap had no sauce in it and was dry, i didnt receive the chips or can of drink included either. I tried calling but could not get through. I am sorry but will not be ordering again

We love Turkish Grill, we popped in after the kids attended boxing next door, picked up an menu and the staff kindly gave the kids sweets for Halloween, weve now have had about 4 Turkish grills, always hot, speedy delivery and the special is ridiculously good. Good prices and always friendly delivery drivers. 🌟

The lady at the counter with the glasses on has to be one of the ruddiest people I have ever come across, and don’t get me started on her hygiene

So rude, not normally a negative person but do you really need to be that rude to customers, food was not great either

First class food, plenty of it, great vfm, was all ready for collection, highly recommend.

The first warning bells was that they don't accept card. This isn't really acceptable nowadays, it's really easy to setup and you pass the cost onto the customer. The only reason why these places only accept cash is probably because they are hiding how much they make.... They don't do coleslaw.... when I enquired why I got this reply. Well in London it's unheard off, its a southern thing. We are in the south so cater for us.... also London is southern, so really don't get her point. Also I've had kebas in London with coleslaw. The food Well the kebab was a box of meat, a separate pitta bread and a tray of salad. So it's a self assemble thing, oh and cut open your own pitta. Donna meat was dry and the chips weren't the best. I'm a bit of a pig and will demolish my meals, even if not the best. Well I left half of this one. Needless to say I won't be returning here.

One of the best halal food takeaway in Bournemouth, they always deliver the hot food on time and I usually order Turkish grill special platter, it's amazing.

Me and my son were starving when decided to buy 2 burgers to be delivered to our place of stay, found two flies in the food, disgusting!! Never seen this low level of hygiene in the UK! Money was refunded, which didn't matter to me, and we had to go to sleep hungry after the whole two meals thrown in the bin.

Ordered through Uber eats and they failed to deliver one main order. Rang them and they’re denying it’s their order. Food that we did receive was overcooked, cold and chewy. I’m so disappointed. Will not order from these again and would advise others to apply caution

Ordered the ‘Turkish Grill Special’. The meat was cooked so nice, the pitta breads were cooked fresh that day and the chilli sauce had been handmade. Very impressed and will definitely be returning!

Koft Kebab seemed microwaved tough and rubbery like it was last weeks menus wouldn’t feed it a dog had a bucket of grease over the chicken kebab filling the tray 🤮 £15 to Chuck it in the bin wouldn’t waste your time or money ……only decent thing about this experience was the helpful delivery driver and a bottle of coke was cold

Came here to get some food after a very long drive with the kids. The food was reasonably priced but above everything the lady who served us was super kind and compassionate. She helped with carrying the items to the car and even gave the kids complimentary foot shoot (may be due to a slight wait). Excellent service and food. Thank you!

Very very impressed. It all came separately so that caught me off guard BUT I liked it. Maybe that’s there USP. From what it looked and tasted like, slightly higher end than than the other kebab house. I’ll be back again for sure. Slightly concerned as to why they do not have Yogurt sauce (it’s not on the site anyways?)

first time order missing a mixed doner kebab and mixed salad rang to get missing items still never brought me mixed salad gutted makes me kebab so boring and the chips are dry dont think ill bother again !!!!!

Ordered a large chicken kebab - all salad and large chips. The food arrived quickly, was piping hot and was the best kebab I’d had in Bournemouth for many years. The chicken was perfectly grilled with a perfect char, salad fresh and crunchy. Chips were perfection, slightly crispy, none of the usual soggy undercooked chips that seem the norm these days. Friendly accommodating staff, filled my request to put everything in the pita bread that would fit. I’ll see you next weekend for the same again please!

Oh my goodness where do I start part of our order was missing soy husband called to be told if we wanted what we order we would have to wait over 30 mins. As we had already over an hour for 2 kebabs . As we didn't to wait that long the guy on the phone said if we changes to a donner we could have it in 15mins so we opted to down grade to this. 35 mins later no food so again my husband called to ask were is our food? If we knew it would be this long we would of stuck to the food we wanted in the first place! The guy who answered the phone was so so rude and claimed he had never said it would be quicker. Basically calling my husband a liar. This is not exceptable! Eventually a box of donner kebab arrived fairly cold. Unfortunately after one mouthful the grease salty meat was put I the bin. We will never use Turkish grill again. Simple because of the rude manner and lies. In reply to your message back. What you have said is simple not true maybe it was a language barrier on the phone but but my husband clearly called back as we did not receive the either kebab. During the call 40 mins after the first call yes the food arrived we certainly didn't want another kebab we simple wanted what we had paid for or our money back. I appreciate on a Saturday night you get many drunken phone calls and I understand that at times this must be hard to work out who is after free food or genuine. But let me assure we were not drunk we are in full time employment and just fancied kebab for dinner that night. We are full aware of the conversation had on the phone to your staff. You had no need to ban us because let's face it will we use you ever again ..... No is the simple answer. Next time if you make a mistake which is natural we are only human a simple sorry we will sort it is the right thing to do. Maybe as a suggestion a customer service course might help Thank you
