Costa in Bournemouth

Great coffee, but I do feel that Costas generally feel rather cold. Think they need more vintage sofas, and fire places etc. The food is good but can become quickly expensive if you are with your family, and should consider doing meal deals for multiple people as I think more people would be inclined to purchase the food.

Absolutely brilliant customer service and quick service and got served by the lovely staff and I've been to many Costas but this one is just small and just right not too busy the atmosphere is very good and just everything about it is just amazing I highly recommend it if your living locally great place for a quick cuppa.

I’m so sorry for the girls working there. Their boss a franchisee just doesn’t give a toss. They are left with constantly broken down equipment and leaks. They told me today that they dint even know the name of the owner. How shameful

Staff were friendly but after arriving with my 1.5 year old, I realised the toilets were downstairs with no lift. So I left the buggy and went down but a disabled person may not have this option. The child changing toilet was blocked with feces and not flushing. I had to still use because it was the only place I could put her down. I then had to try and wash my hands in the main toilet area whilst holding my daughter. Not easy. Used the anti bac gel in the end. With the toilet downstairs and no lift, this Costsa is not friendly for young kids or anyone that can't used stairs.

In a visit to Westbourne this afternoon when Starbucks couldn't cope due to 'a broken oven' I went to Costa for the first time since COVID. Everything was exactly as I wanted!

I love the downstairs where there a lots of little nooks and crannies to sit in quietly. Pleasant staff and clean.

Spacious, including outside seating, and quick service. Dine in or drive-thru. A left turn shortly after entering the Venue area of Cribbs Causeway.

High Standards come as Standard is not quite the right description for this place.Three staff but nobody bothers clearing tables full of trays and left over food it’s hot so not really that hygienic to leave the tables like that.Not a very pleasant experience.

Coffee great as always. However one guy on his own trying to serve everyone. Covid precautions not particularly good. Toilets need checking more often. Shame as Costa are generally better than this.

your bulk standard every day Costa Coffee - met my expectations, everything went smoothly, no issues, nothing more than that!

I think the staff are absolutely gorgeous and always do a great job in making sure I get a pot of tea ok to drink in or takeaway. Also there are less crowds here in Westbourne than they are in Bournemouth put it that way. A small lady with red hair white skin is most helpful. Most is too a great man.

Nice big seating space downstairs so we could socially distance easily.

The coffee tastes good. However, the store is messy. The table is too sticky and there are many flies. It was so sticky that I wiped it myself. I should've gone to Starbucks. I regretted it. It's a good coffee shop if you care a little about cleanliness.

Lovely place for a light lunch. Staff were very helpful as I was juggling a tray and a 3 year old grandson. A nice little treat for us both and we will be back......thank you.

Better coffee than than other leading brand outlets, but that's not saying much! We always enjoy a cup with a snack by the exit of Heathrow Terminal 5 while waiting for our National Express coach to arrive to take us home... The two companies should join forces to offer a nice discount called "one for the road" to anyone holding an onward coach ticket.

Some of my order was missed. Foreign lady jumped the queue and stood in front of me even though I explained to her there was a queue. Very rude. Staff not very focused.

Very good coffee and welcoming staff.

Had a delicious blueberry muffin and my usual soya latte was just as expected, smooth and creamy. The baristas were helpful and courteous and even offered to carry my items to my table.

Costa offers the idea of coffee but for people who don't really like the taste of it. Most drinks are more milk than coffee and are complemented with a plethora of sweet treats to cover any bitterness. Great for the non coffee drinker or pastries.

This is quite a large building with lots of comfortable seats. The coffee and snacks are just what you expect of Costa so definitely recommended.

Small and cute place where you can taste coffee. There are many cakes that seems really delicious, maybe next time I'll try one piece of those cakes.

Nice Costa with pleasant staff and a cosy basement seating area.

Been before and love their Cortado but my only gripe is that the toilet is down stairs. They haven't got disabled facilities on the ground floor and obviously no wheelchair facility although they are on street level. You can eat and drink but cannot go to the toilet if you are wheelchair bound or have a disability. The staff are accommodating and friendly.

OK, can be big queues, downstairs large but not overly appealing.

my favourite coffee, so not dissapointed and millionaires shortcake is always a must, but as i was there for lunch, i also had a toasted sandwhich. As always with this chain, good friendly service, good food, and would recomend.

Clean, fast service, lots of space downstairs.

Went out of my way passing other cafés in order to patronise Costa once again. Was tempted by an extra points offer on my loyalty card. Right from the start the service was just weird. No greeting, just a stare. I had forgotten which drinks qualified for the bonus points on my card. The server explained and pointed out that I should know this by looking at my app. Further discussions ensued after I accidentally chose something not in the right category. The speciality iced chocolate/coffee was good, but at nearly £4 it's not something I would drink often. I felt my presence had interrupted the staff's banter. With plenty of other cafés around I feel fortunate not to need to go back. :)

Decent enough coffee in a relatively compact shop. Small staircase leads you downstairs to more seating and toilets; clean store but it may be a challenge for those who have mobility issues to get downstairs to use the toilets.

Over the last few months have visited here a few times, primarily as I like the strength of coffee at Costa Coffee & enjoy the benefits of their loyalty scheme. It looks small from the outside,but there is a large seating area downstairs. However, with so many coffee shops in Westbourne I'm not sure I will revisit when next in Westbourne. This is primarily due to the fact that each time i have been in there, the empty tables are full of previous customers dirty cups etc......, Sadly, this is a situation you see all too often in Costa Coffee & other chain style coffee shops. The management need to make sure they employ sufficient staff to keep everything clean & tidy.

Can't beat a Costa though can you. Yum
