So let me start by saying the service was brilliant. The lovely ladies behind the counter were so accommodating. My daughter only wanted cheese in a bun and they managed to sort this for her due to her being one picky eater. Also they fry the food separately from their meat products which is fantastic if you have a halal/vegetarian/ vegan diet. Honestly, really lovely place to eat, food was good quality and the kids loved it too. Thank you for the great service and amazing experience.

I only had a drink and cake, so I can't comment on other food.

I've been here a few times and been quite suprised at how great the food is and the affordability!! The staff are super friendly and both times I've been there has been a lady called 'Ha' (I think that's her name) she's super friendly and very inviting. Love coming here now

This is the place to visit when you go to Boscombe Pier, decor is so nice, staff are lovely and food is excellent. Lovely view of the beach and outdoor seating area.

Had a quick bite to eat at the the prom diner, 50s styled decor complete with booths. Food was very good with a generous portion. Would recommend when your walking the prom at Boscombe.

Loved the whole 50’s theme - cream tea was great and reasonably priced - felt sorry for the waitress who was cleaning up at the end of the day - so much sand everywhere

Love this find on the promenade between Boscombe and Bournemouth. Great cafe with style and good staff. It wasn't busy at all on a windy, wet day but served with a smile and on any day the food looks great. I had hot dog with a layer of caramelised onions yum yum.

It's an American style breakfast at the beach of Bournemouth (Boscombe Pier). Unfortunately there is no toilet, so you have to use the public toilet. Otherwise I liked the diner very much.

A very cheerful and comfortable decor with great views. Quite well priced and easy to get to. The staff are for the most part very friendly and the tables are cleared of debris on a regular basis. As I said earlier, the Diner has a very cheerful ambience with an entirely appropriate background music. This is, by the way, my additional review, following a recent family visit. Our daughter-in-law loves the sea and so the Diner seemed to be the obvious choice, as much of the seating allows a good sea view. Although the Diner was pretty crowded, the meal, as always, came quickly and we were offered a selection of condiments. The staff are for the most part very friendly, though I would pick out "Ha" for specific mention. She is always cheerful and very friendly.

Great little cafe/dinner tucked in just off the seafront. Reasonably priced and a good selection of hot and cold foods, hot drinks and snacks. Dog friendly as well with indoor and outdoor seating (for those nicer days)

Lovely little place that takes dogs. Really enjoyed our coffee and cheesy chips and hot dog. The staff was very good.

We were there around noon on Sunday, second week of September. Hungry and trying to escape the sudden rain. In short - great location, average food and service. My flat white was a 2 in 1 Nescafé, as I saw the waitress “brew” it. The cod was over fried, the burger was missing any other elements outside of beef and a single leaf of salad. The fries and pancakes were tasty. The young waitress seemed very uninterested and didn’t even know the number of our table, it felt like us ordering our food was of great burden for her. The lady who brought the food out was very pleasant and professional. 1 star for the young waitress and 5 for her more experienced colleague. The chef accommodated our request to have salt free food for our toddler, which was great.

Lovely, bright and welcoming. Dogs allowed, which is always a bonus. The chocolate brownie was fabulous! The staff were very helpful and friendly 🙂

Ordered burger and chips it was ok couldve been better as the diner was inviting and authentic and the music was nice. The staff were very efficient and friendly

We ate beach side . Great service, and the food was fantastic. Chips were the best I’ve had for a long time .so crisp & lovely fluffy texture . We all enjoyed our respective choices & throughly recommend & would definitely return. Thank you for a great brunch .

Had such a lovely breakfast right on the beach, was such a special way to start our day exploring Bournemouth! Staff were really friendly and breakfast was delicious and arrived quickly. Also everything was really reasonably priced, such a bonus for a family on a budget. Would come back every sunny day if we could.

Very friendly staff and amazing food

We came as a family for the Airshow and ordered burgers and nachos and drinks. The food came relatively quick, considering the massive queue. The lady taking our order was lovely and polite, the lady bringing our food to our table was of the same attitude. The food was amazing. All of the tables were being cleared quickly for others to make use of the table. This was amazing service by all of the prom diner staff, considering the amount of people that were enjoying the Airshow. We were on the beach for the duration and kept returning for snacks and ice cream until dusk. We were amazed at how well the staff coped with the massive amount of customers and how they still managed to provide smiley customer service after what must have been a really long day for them. The people who served us were there when we arrived and were there when we left, with lots of clearing up still to do. Well done, Prom Diner. We will definitely be back.

Whilst visiting the diner for a quick drink we witnessed a very unpleasant man in pink complaining endlessly and threatening the very polite,professional manager with a poor review despite him apologising profusely but this was ignored.We watched in bisbeief as he finally finished his pint and procceded to rant at somebody in a car by the Pier. The manager deserves a medal for his calm approach despite the customer ignoring his expectations.

Annual pilgrimage for some cheesy nachos with all the extras. Nice and relaxed , next to the beach so great for quick bite to eat. The staff are lovely and the service is quick.

Great friendly service .we wanted breakfast. Was in queue before 12.20 but served after 12.32 so could not get breakfast. Still suggested great other things on menu which we ordered and enjoyed .

Oh dear......... Took refuge from the windy beach but would have taken in less salt drinking from the sea Where to start? Wished I hadn't! Tuna panini, can't be hard to get right , correct? Stale bread, grey tuna that last saw its can before covid , sweetcorn picked a decade or so ago. "Cheesy Chips" yeah my brain yelled "no no no" my stomach moaned. Can't even bring myself to describe them Vanilla milkshake ? We'll barely flavoured milk frothed up a bit Staff don't bother to ask if everything is ok...they know Toast with jam was good ! A cool place to eat when visiting Bournemouth and felling peckish for some dalish savory food.

Even with a queue, they serve very quickly. Clean tables, good coffee, and reasonable prices. Nice breakfasts and choice of snacks.

We had a very upset newborn baby who needed feeding but the prom diner would not accommodate in heating his bottle up!! We were going to have a breakfast but happily took our custom to another restaurant who would heat the bottle up, what is the world coming to.

Very nice place, warm welcome, fine choice and quality of the food and drinks, reasonable prices, together with a fantastic atmosphere and view. All this give this place a special touch not seen elsewhere around. Thanks.

I only had a chocolate milkshake when I came here but it was the best milkshake I have had in a long time, the next time i'm in the area I will definitely go back.

Decor is nice, view is lovely and service was polite and quick. Food was average and over priced and coffee was utterly terrible. Cannot recommend.

Smiling staff, a gorgeous view, and a lovely breakfast - we came across this place on a walk and couldn't believe how stunning it is. Really good service and great food and drink.

We visited Bournemouth back in May and ate the most tasty fish n chips at the Prom Diner which overlooks the beach near Boscombe Pier. The food was 'so sooo good' we went back the next morning and we were served with equally delicious breakfasts and a warm welcoming smile. The food was presented well and the portion sizes were generous too. If we're ever back in the area we'd definitely eat there again. Two very happy customers! 😊😊

Fantastic location with seating on the beach, staff were friendly and service fairly quick. We had Panini and drinks and prices were not too bad at all, we would certainly use again.

Weird experience. Rather than have hotel breakfast we thought we would walk from Bournemouth to Boscombe. Arrived at Diner at just before 9:15 and were told food not available till 9 30 - not offered drinks. Said we would go for a stroll and return. Arrived back just after 9 30 and sat down and were completely ignored by lady working in the Diner so after 5 to 10 mins we got up an left. Lady serving seemed very busy doing anything to avoid serving us. There was a lady in there with a dog and she had somehow managed to get some food before 9 30. Left having not been offered any drinks or food and went elsewhere - is not as if there are not plenty of other options in the area to eat and drink. Have had so many examples of good service in recent months in various locations that this was by far the worst - especially as we were the only customers in there at 9 15.

This diner overlooks West Boscombe beach . Fab fifties vibe. Bright, airy & clean apart from a sandy floor! The server was very friendly. The milkshake was made with fresh banana, pricey, not huge but certainly tasty . Second visit and thoroughly recommended.

Great little terrace but gets very busy especially if the sun is out. Feels clean. Nice comfortable seating. Latte fine. Good stop off if on a long walk or Beryl bike.

I've yet to eat in as I only discovered this place during lockdown while it was takeaway only but it's a great little place. Fast, friendly service and a decent menu even on takeaway. Reasonably priced and the cafe itself looks like a nice place to eat once open. Looking forward to coming back for something more substantial

It’s great to see this place still open and providing good value takeaway food and drinks. Try the hot dogs and cakes. Lovely staff. We’re lucky to have it on our doorstep. Looking forward to when we can sit in and enjoy a beer too !

Well, summer's over, so just time to enjoy another breakfast from The Prom Diner - delicious bacon baps.As ever, very good covid/distancing system, friendly service, and hot, tasty generously-filled bacon baps. £3.60 each. Good value really, considering the beach location.Looking forward to some more good weather and more bacon bap breakfasts!

Aparecí para un desayuno que nunca se escuchó antes de que la comida fuera realmente agradable, tenía el inglés completo, todo realmente sabroso, el único aspecto negativo fue que el servidor luchó por entendernos cuando pedimos, tuve que pedir una taza de té unas 6 veces, pero ella fue realmente encantadora no menos creo que su nombre era Rocío L, tengo que decir que trató con los clientes muy bien, estaba bastante ocupado y tenía algunos clientes horribles que le gritaban que tenía que usar una máscara y un chico incluso se puso verbalmente abusivo. Sentí mucha pena por ella. ¡Afortunadamente, su gerente intervino y la respaldó al 100% con algunas personas horribles!

Comimos realmente buenas aquí antes de hoy. Siendo un comensal de estilo "americano", elegí su hot dog con cebollas fritas y un lado de papas fritas. . . . . ¡gran error! Las cebollas aún crudas y las patatas fritas tenían un sabor rancio, no recién fritas. No me quejé porque no podía molestarme. Antes de que la gerencia diga, ¡oh! debería habernos dicho, no es así como funciona, la comida debería estar buena antes de servir. Sin duda volveremos ya que he disfrutado su comida antes y es un entorno encantador justo en el paseo marítimo.

Gran descubrimiento en Boscombe SeafrontQué gran lugar fue este, mi esposo, mi hija, yo fuimos aquí hoy para almorzar por primera vez, todo fue encantador, comí un panini que también venía con patatas fritas y ensalada de col, mi hija comió un sándwich de atún y mi esposo tenía una hamburguesa y patatas fritas, todo excelente, también el personal era muy amable y teníamos una hermosa vista al mar, y era encantador y limpio, definitivamente volveremos, ¡también los batidos estaban deliciosos! ! ! ! ! ?

Encontré esta pequeña joya caminando por la playa y qué gran descubrimiento fue. Estaba buscando un desayuno delicioso y eso es lo que obtuve. Opté por la opción vegetariana y estaba delicioso y una ganga absoluta con un café con leche también. Excelentes vistas al océano. . . muy limpio y el personal fue super amable. . . absolutamente recomendaría x

Only stopped here for a hot drink, but what a location! And the style of the diner is great, a real retro American diner feel. Can’t comment on food quality, but the prices look really reasonable. So if you want to grab a drink with amazing views, the this is a good bet.

La esposa y yo fuimos a dar un paseo en coche los domingos, vivimos en Boscobe hace años, una visita obligada, desayunamos temprano, así que queríamos relajarnos antes de la cena, comimos un par de sándwiches, más como topes de puertas. Volveré a probar algo más, genial encontrar a alguien abierto los domingos, pero fue genial, tuve tiempo para ti, no esperé mucho. No vi fechas de apertura, es decir, durante todo el año. ? ? ?

Nos detuvimos aquí para tomar un café por la mañana, luego regresamos para almorzar. La comida era excelente, buena relación calidad-precio y recién hecha a la orden. El servicio fue muy bueno con un personal amable. Todo en un ambiente de American Diner con música rock and roll y para colmo una espectacular vista sobre la playa y el mar.

We called into this restaurant for coffee but ended up having nachos with chilli to share - which was delicious.On arrival I was met with a smile (good start) and a friendly welcome.Coffee was better than many other outlets and food was well presented, plentiful and enjoyable to eat.Prices are very reasonable which is a good incentive for a return visit in the near future.

We have visited this diner for breakfast twice and the staff have been friendly on both occasions. The breakfasts were served promptly and were hot and tasty.The venue is clean and tidy and the view of the seafront is perfect. You order at the counter in this diner and carry your own drinks but the food is bought over and the price reflects the self service element.

Had food from the diner twice during our stay in Bournemouth. Great prices and tasty food. Service was a bit slow on the first day but always really friendly. Definately recommend!!

Eat here serveral times while on holiday with grandchilden. Grandson has food allegries and nothing was to much trouble for them when all he eanted was a ham sandwich without butter. Great food, great staff and great service. Will recommend to others. Not expensive as you would think.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for breakfast as we had a room only stay at our hotel. We had a full English (medium) and a maple and nut crepe, both reasonably priced. Neither of us have anything to complain about! The service was quick, the staff are very friendly and the food was banging! Would recommend this for a good brekkie.

Walking along seafront on cold blustery day, decided a coffee would be in order and saw diner. Pleasantly surprised at cleanliness and good decor. Padded seats added bonus for mum, coffee good, along with friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.
