Improvements have been made like new screens and a refurbished beer garden. Food is acceptable, but drinks are expensive for this type of venue. The staff is usually nice.

Great atmosphere, staff have really made it! Knowledgable staff that help give me guidance after 4 years away as I have been living in Auckland New Zealand! Appreciate it all! Made me feel back at home :)

Went for dinner and stayed all night 🌙. Great night with good music, large space inside so not cramped. Lady manager on the bar was really nice and easy to chat to, there was also a guy bar man who was equally nice and helpful as we had only arrived in Bournemouth (can't remember names my bad). Good experience, not expensive.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere. The place is really big so even on a Friday night it's not crammed and claustrophobic. The outdoor garden has huts where you can turn on the heating if you want, or leave it off, so either way you're never too cold or too hot. Good prices on the cocktails too!

This is, for me, a students pub. We couldn't sit in the comfortable upholstered seats as the students had a meeting in that area. The rest of the pub had high tables and chairs and 3 pool tables. Staff were friendly and polite but it wasn't for us.

According to the sign outside, this is the sports bar of the year. I’m unsure how. I watched the Premier League game and the sound inside was terrible. The sound system may be good for music but not for live sports. The commentators’ and pundits’ voices were loud but barely audible. Outside in the beer garden was even worse because it was too quiet. Also, beer is expensive. I won’t be coming back

Very busy Saturday lunch which made for an incredible atmosphere for the footy. The staff worked incredibly hard and produced an epic day. The pub was enjoyed by everyone, old young, stags, parties etc. Being managed very well keep up the good work

This was my first visit and unfortunately I was unimpressed. I ordered some food and expected it to be quite fast but was told there is roughly a 45 min wait. I couldn't understand why as the place barely had people in there and I've never had to wait 45 mins for a steak! Eventually I had to make queries as to how long it would be and they said it shouldn't be long, after with it arrived about 15 mins later. No apologies for the wait, any sauces (or where their located). The food itself was not bad but was nothing to write home about but the chips did not taste fresh at all, tasted as if they'd been cooked a while so overall the wait was not worth it. I had expected a service similar to wetherspoons but it really did not come close. I would have been understanding if the place was busy but it wasn't at all, id go as far as saying it was dead. I don't like crapping on any place but this was the worst I've seen on all fronts (the place itself looks great, huge number of seating and a large venue) but i will not visit nor recommend. Clearly there are some changes/improvements needed.

I came in for afternoon food the atmosphere was nice and relaxed and was easy to find a table, I was served by Fiona and had the chicken burger and a beer, it was cooked to perfection and couldn't fault the experience at all

I am not sure how this bar rates at 4.4. But on our visit, it was dreadful. The bar staff had no clue on how to work the till. The real ale was very warm, and the place was empty. More training for your new members of staff.

Huge pub, loads of seating areas, indoor and outdoor, really spacious bear garden with 2 large TV's. The food was ok and it could be a lovely place to have a beer with friends

I came in and was served by the manager I think her name was Alicia. She was extremely rude and dismissive with me all I wanted was a pint after a long day at work and I was given abuse. All the other staff were incredibly friendly so it's very unfortunate that I had a bad experience.

Was served by Fiona we was playing pub golf she was lovely she helped us with drinks and she also helped us referee ahah perfect place for anyone to come cheap drinks and lovely staff.

I went on sunday to enjoy F1 race as this place advertise to be a sport watch Bar and as its in my neighbourhood literally next door from me i said lets go here right. So i went in...it was middle of the day...few people in so it was easy to choose the sit etc...ive asked the lady who was serving is it possible to watch F1 on here...first she seems to be surprised about my question then she replied she doesnt know how to change the channel and she needs to call for someone....seriously???? What she would do if she would be alone etc...lucky it wasnt the final of Euro24...then ive asked for a beer...i received the beer....barely cold and i can imagine it should he rather cold then just slightly chilled right? Ive ordered a meal...at that point it was barely 15 people in...i was waiting quite a while to be honest. Ive ordered later on another bottled beer from the fridge or chiller....thinking itll be more cold on that hot sunny day....couldnt be more wrong....again big failure. Beer was warm...disappointing. so overall i am very dissapointed of the random experience i had...expecially that this is my local pub which i had a very high hopes about.

Great place for a beer or three.

The people make the pub great, atmosphere is great. However the security and doormen have weird power trip egos, kinda freaks to be honest. 8 people left (without a stamp, they didn't come back) before half-time but security wouldn't let anyone else get in before the end of the game just because of power trip reasons I guess. Weird and rude staff for the most part, otherwise could be so good. Also pint prices are a bit overpriced. Security people are miserable, not sure why. EDIT: Was 4 1/2 hours early unfortunately. Fact that people left and still people weren't allowed in because the security had an ego trip and were insulting potential customers is a bit of a joke to be frank. I'd like to exclude the bar staff, they are great, however the manager and the security are miserable.

I have watched the majority of the England games in Euro 2024 here and what a great atmosphere! Amazing staff, especially the manager Rich, the bar staff, and special mention to Henry and Kasper who were working the table service. Even though they were incredibly busy nothing was too much trouble for these guys. Definitely recommend this place for watching sporting events and if you want a pub with a great atmosphere. Will be back on Sunday for the final, IT’S COMING HOME 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Used to be best place in Bournemouth for England footy, why o why do they book tables out ? Used to be 1000% better atmosphere when you just turned up and got a table ! And by that people used to turn up 4-5-6-7 hrs before game to get best tables AND SPEND MONEY WHILST THERE !! It’s really not difficult to understand is it ? Unfortunately modern world has broken what was the best place in town, will never again see atmosphere like 96/98/00/02/04/06/08/10/12/14/16 shame but glad I saw it !! BRING BACK FIRST COME FIRST SERVED it works and you will make so much more money !!

A typical pub, with live sport (today was European Championship Euro 24)... order everything yourself, take your own drinks, food is brought... lots of little things to eat for a reasonable price...

Great vibe, the outside area is huge and had drum and bass in the evening and was really fun. Really enjoyed myself.

Nice place to watch the football game but not to eat. They are not friendly at all (not even 1 smile) I ordered 2 steaks and 2 drinks with a side. The lady only got 1 steak and 2 drinks (why would I order that?). Then she didn’t tell me to wait for my drinks at the bar (i’m not from here so i didn’t know how it works) the drinks stayed there on the counter until I got up and asked for them. Later when only 1 steak was served (25 minutes later) I asked again and they told me arrogantly that i didn’t ordered it (it was my fault not to check the price/bill) so i apologized for this mistake but they didn’t. Plus I never saw the side I ordered so I asked again and they told me that I “didn’t ordered it” (I did). It’s a lot of mistakes with no apology whatsoever and my bf and I didn’t get to eat at the same time because of this steak problem in addition the food wasn’t good at all. So overall a bad experience. Don’t eat there !!! response : vous devez confondre avec une autre personne avec qui vous avez fait d’autres erreurs, car je n’ai jamais crié je suis restée très polie, je n’ai vu personne pleurer, et à aucun moment le responsable ou qui que ce soit est venu nous voir on a eu aucune excuse ;)

Found this sports bar to watch games for the euros and it was amazing, great choice of screens to watch inside and out and it was packed, created a great atmosphere and wonderful time

Lack of customer service. I was in the queue before but the lady ask other customer for service.lady who severed us was absolutely being racist on us. Never coming back.
