The manager is rude. I asked for something from the actual ridiculously slow staff. Took 20 minutes to come. AVOID THOS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE

Door staff extremely rude and refused entry to me and one other friend whilst the pub was half full . Gave no reasons as to why they wouldn’t let us in at 8:30pm

Ww met at o Neil's for my sisters 50th birthday with our children in there early 20's, for a pre drink before we went for a meal, at that time cannot fault the service or atmosphere.. after leaving the restaurant we decided to go back to o Neil's for 1 drink before we went home (10pm) unfortunately the bouncer (told us he was the head bouncer) refused us entry due to our age! (It is a quite Saturday night no one waiting to go in) We were not being loud! (That's not us) the one night that we went out as a family! We were smiling and having a really nice night until the jobsworth (head!!!!) Doorman refused us entry!!!! For being 50!!! I've never heard anything like it!!!! Just to say o Neil's is not a youngsters place (if so I would not like to go) its mixed ages...I will be making a complaint about the doormans attitude and the way he spoke to us!!! Absolutely no need. Lived in Bournemouth all my life, have drunk in o Neil's and watched the bands before..but this man was rude!!! And seemed to think being a doorman made him king of the world!!!.. Nut that it will make a difference to o Neil's, but I will never pop in for a drink again.

Experiencia decepcionante – Servicio lento y comida demasiado cocinada Visité O’Neills Bournemouth recientemente y se quedó muy decepcionado. El servicio era dolorosamente lento, a pesar de que el bar no estaba particularmente ocupado. Esperábamos siglos para nuestra comida, solo para que nos sirvieran hamburguesas de pollo demasiado cocidas y secas que apenas eran comestibles. El bollo estaba empapado, y todo sabía como si hubiera estado sentado bajo una lámpara de calor durante demasiado tiempo. Por el precio, esperaba mucho mejor. El personal no parecía demasiado interesado cuando mencionamos el problema, y nos quedamos sintiendo como un inconveniente en lugar de clientes valiosos. ¡No se apresurará a regresar pronto!

The band didn’t even play Irish music and played 2 songs in 1 hour! Not impressed

It was nice ,the pizza was meat filled and tasty but too oily asides that it was a good experience.It had a lot of people in it at the time I was there guess that’s of good sign of a great customer experience.

We came from Belgium to have dinner & drinks in this pub. We were shown a table and then did not see any staff for 45 minutes, when going to the bar to order, we were dismissed. Worst service we ever experienced!

Mi señora y yo decidimos tener una primera cena después del funeral familiar, pedimos comida y bebidas en pareja, mi comida era buena y la señora del bar muy servicial, sin embargo, mis socios gammon and chips estaba muy frío, así que ella fue al bar y dijo lo que era el problema y como se llama señora chef saltó de la cocina y comenzó a decir que eso es nuestra culpa, personalmente he estado en la industria durante más de 20 años, así que piérdete no volveremos. Bien hecho de nuevo para la señora del bar

O'Neill's in Bournemouth is a great spot for a fun and relaxed time. sports on big screens, and friendly staff. It’s perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a night out.

Service was fast and staff were very friendly, will be coming again!

Used to be a standard pub with standard prices, now is a standard pub with really high prices. Super surprised its now almost £7/pint with a pretty poor range of typical beers. Not sure what this place offers anymore. If you want a proper pub with sensible pint prices go to Goat & Tricycle. If you want a pub to watch football, I'm sure there's better options nearby. If you want food, go to one of the 20 restaurants within about 5 mins walk. Won't be coming back.

Atmospheric DJ. Just the right tunes. Floor filters and bangers. We were up dancing with many others. Still tired.

I love this place so much, thd food is great and the drinks you can get student discount on! And the staff are brilliant. However, we went on Thursday just myself and a friend and the bouncer’s kept threatening to kick us out for vaping, however we absolutely were not! And saying we can never come back!!

I am a regular of o'neill's however, tonight has been the worst for my friends and I. We have been treated like we were a criminal and we were aggressively pushed out by a security guard called "Ellie". It was because my two other friends and I were in a same toilet cubicle together because we did not want to hold up the queue. But sadly, when we came out of the toilet we werebeing pushed and shoved aggressively by the security guard called "Ellie". We tried to explain and she accused us of doing illegal substances in the cubicle which we didn't, she then proceeded to gaslight us and threw us out without any proper reason. We asked to see the manager and she said the manager would not see us and she said to me that "i was too drunk and i should go away". I had only come into o'neill's 10 minutes prior to this horrible, disgusting incident and I had no drinks. My friends and I were horrified by this incident and will not be coming back to this o'neill's ever again because of how we were treated. I believe that 1 star is too good for this place.

Polite and friendly , only a few bar staff knowing how to pull a Guinness properly, food was warm and filling nice atmosphere while watching the Celtic v Atalanta champions league match

Lovely food Staff like to clear tables quickly but that involved then reaching over people whilst they were still eating or better yet taking food whilst people were having a break from it . Great vibe especially when a football match / sports is on , good set up to allow room for more customers to enjoy a game

Staff was rude waited to get served for ages they kept skipping my turn serving people behind then gave me attitude, expensive drinks will not be coming back!

Was watching rugby there. Good vibe and stuff was friendly with sound request and putting the rugby on where we were sitting. Also had a dog with us sitting oustide.
