Meal was lovely and the portions keep up the good work, it has made us want to boost our Colton Leeds Harvester more often ❤️ my previous review should have read Heather was very patient ( not wasn’t ) I couldn’t edit the typo… Mary

Been a long time since been to a harvester for breakkie but deffo the best we've been to. Heather our server was exceptionally amazing! Offered any drink top ups when needed, always checking in and with a smile! Decor of the place was great and clean. Thank you all for a great experience...will be back soon x

For the first time during all our visits, we were disappointed with the food I normally have a main menu meal this time decided to have a Xmas set meal 2 courses prawn cocktail was disappointing prawns were tasteless main meal turkey dinner potatoes soft and veg was very hard turkey was dry Yorkshire pudding over cooked could not eat it gravy was watery but salad was lovely as usual we topped up on the salad my wife's simply chicken the chicken was dry so not so good this time harvester

Wonderful and efficient staff. The food was a little too greasy for us, but it was tasty.

Staff were very busy but very polite. Manager was too busy chatting to friends to bother to help. Sat by door and freezing every time someone came in or left door open. Birthday meal and very disappointed

Easy to park. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice of food on menu. Salad bar was fresh and well-stocked

Salad bar boring. Needs more diversity. Main courses overcooked burgers was like eating cardboard. Hardly any pulled pork on the burger. Dissatisfied for sure. For money spent could go elsewhere where much much better.

Best Harvester we’ve visited in a long time.

Unfriendly welcome from the staff, no one to greet us on arrival, me and my fiance only wanted to stop by for a drink at 9:00pm and the bartender had saw us then left the bar, she then came back with the assistant manager who had straight away asked us for ID and said they was closing the bar in 10 minutes. Which is unusual for a restaurant/bar to close at 9:30pm working in hospitality myself I know the licensing for bar opening times. We felt very unwelcome and did not want to stay for long so we ended up leaving after having finished only half of our drink. Other guests had asked for drinks and there was no mention to them about the bar closing, over all we just felt discriminated so we left, perhaps it was due to our appearance even being in our 30’s but having tattoos maybe the staff did not like this. Will not be coming back.

Food was great, had the ribs. Second time coming here and have been served by Elina both times. She is absolutely fantastic, very efficient and really lovely. Helped make it a great experience.

A party of nine of us went to the Harvester on Thursday evening. Our waitress ‘Heather’ could not have been more helpful and accommodating. She made sure all dietary requirements were met and catered for the three year olds request for a bowl of ice (topping it up throughout the evening). She was attentive but not over the top. I really appreciated this level of service and would happily visit again.

Brilliant lunch on New Year's Day

Lovely family restaurant. Our waitress Alison was very good as we had 2 people with allergies and she handled them very sympathetically. The children in our group said 'She was the best waitress ever'. Only problem is that the coeliac person found few things she could have and the chains allergen info is very difficult to negotiate on the net. I have seen other chains internet offerings where you can select an allergen and the menu will then only show food that would be acceptable or could be modified to make it acceptable. Here you basically had to check each dish to see whether it contained your allergen. The waitress could answer questions about the dishes.

Very good evening on New year's day Terri was an excellent host

Went for a New Year’s Day breakfast with my family and it was wonderfully cooked, very fresh and delicious. Very good for money and the service was wonderful! Thank you elina for making our experience wonderful.

Booked for Boxing Day and selected on booking that we would be having the Boxing Day menu, only to be told when we got there at lunchtime that unless we had pre-booked turkey there was none (which was not advised prior to arrival). Also they had been out shopping to get yorkshires as they had none either! When the food arrived it had obviously been sitting under the heat lamp for a while as the chicken and salmon were both very dry. The staff were amazing (especially Terri) but were obviously run off their feet and I heard them say that the kitchen was not communicating with them when food was ready. With the roast - the Yorkshire, pigs in blankets and stuffing arrived on a separate plate 15 minutes after the main meal was serviced. With the burger - the wrong fries were brought out, no pigs in blankets on the top as per the menu and no gravy (I had to ask for that). I have eaten there on several occasions in the past with no issues but was very disappointed this time. Considering most of the tables were booked prior to the day (as we could hear them saying at reception) they seemed very unprepared for the amount of people coming in.

A lovely warm welcome for a hearty breakfast. The restaurant was very busy but Rachel, our waitress, welcomed us with a smile and we felt nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

I didn't think anything was great! I had to wait 25 minutes before anyone came to take my order, despite other people who had arrived after me being seen to before me. I was really looking forward to my Christmas dinner, roast turkey, only to be told there was none left. My second choice, the salmon fillet, disappeared off the menu a fraction of a second before my order could be placed. My third choice, a mushroom pie type "thing" arrived an hour after I had arrived. Was served on an oversized plate, so it looked half empty before I began, and really wasn't very exciting. I had a lukewarm Bramley apple pie for desert (lukewarm? really!) so I really wasn't impressed. But next year will be much better - I'll go elsewhere!

We went there for lunch on Sunday, just a few days before Xmas, as expected, it was very busy, we were well informed that it might take slightly longer than usual, at the end, foods actually arrived much quicker than expect and foods were good for the price, big shout out to Laura, she was very good for her job. We went to the same Harvester 3 times in the last couple months , free parking and we didn't had a bad meals yet, it slowly became one of our go to places for comfort foods.

Amazing service today on Christmas! Heather was such a bright spark, and made our day so much brighter! Will definitely be here with my family next year!

We were served by Alison who was extremely friendly and attentive. We did not have to wait at any point, we were given our salad bowls, served our drinks and our food very promptly. The food was delicious, I had sirloin steak which was cooked beautifully. Alison made sure that she offered us desserts and coffees but we were just too full. All in all a very pleasant experience made all the better by our lovely server. Thank you.

Our waitress Heather was an absolute star. She ensured I got the meal I wanted even though it wasn’t a dish on the menu, was attentive to our table and made my little girl so welcome. She stopped to take extra notice of the baby to make sure she was ok (and to make friends!). On multiple occasions noticed she had dropped her fork so swooped in to clean it for us. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to serve us! The food was delivered promptly and hot, with no concerns at all. A lovely spontaneous evening out for dinner! First time here for our small party of 8. Lovely atmosphere with all the Christmas decorations. Great food and marvellous service especially as it was so busy.

Arrived on time, shown our table, ordered drinks, asked for 5 mins extra to just look at food. Waitress then seemed to ignore us and serve others. We had to get her attention. Food took ages. All four portions of chips were cold. My hubby sent his back it had cheese and real bacon on them. His next portion were hot but had bacon bits on instead if real bacon. Paid extra for this...Rip off. Burgers were thin, overcook and tasted like cheap bread filled burgers not meaty at all. Salad on burgers was one tiny slice of lettuce and the thinnest cut tomato. Bun were dried up and flat. We were throughly disappointed. Seeing I work in a trade that can point people to a restaurant for large families. I won't be recommending Cooper Dean Beefeater. Actually the very opposite. For £18 a burger I think from now on 7 bone and Five guys is the place to go for a burger meal! Salad bar was bear of items too

You could put a screen over the salad cart to prevent foreign objects like hair falling in the food and cross contamination with other foods in the cart. You coukd also give management and staff better food hygiene training so that when someone finds a hair etc in the salad the staff are prompt to condemn the cart, clear it and replace all the food for new rather than allowing other customers to keep eating from a contaminated food cart

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, good food

The staff were very good and attentive, but that's about it unfortunately. The menu is so confusing we had to ask for help to decipher it. The food itself was poor for the price asked- greasy, bland and clearly not prepared fresh in any sense. The salad bar was pitiful and something tasted off, although I couldn't identify the offending element. The building was falling apart with a dirty rag hanging from a speaker, gaffa tape on the plaster, facias falling off. We couldn't wait to leave. To top it all, maybe coincidentally? I have just recovered from a very nasty bout of sickness/stomach bug. Let's see what the refurb looks like, but some professional advise would be recommended on food standard and work on a 'wow' menu that this place desperately needs.

Heather was really a five star. She delivered a five star service. Very friendly and food was amazing. We ordered the mix grill.

Today we were served by Heather. She was so attentive in her service. Warm and friendly. Even though it was fairly busy the service was excellent. We had a lovely meal that was nicely cooked and very tasty. The chips weren't as hot as the rest of the food but were still warm. The food was prepared in a timely manner and you could see into part of the kitchen which looked nice and clean. Currently (Nov 2024) they have some work happening to the building and directly outside the building. This did mean there was some noise from the work being done. The building is quite well insulated from sound so it wasn't too bad and it didn't ruin the cosy atmosphere. I have been a few times and the atmosphere is always cosy and welcoming. Thank you Heather for making a treat into a special occasion ❤️

I was invited by friends and only stayed 20 minutes! 2 weeks later recieced £100 parking fine. No one warned me either, never again
