fantastic christmas meal and world class service from an excellent lady called Heather. will 100% recommend this place for christmas meal or any occasion, good selection of beers too 😂

We went there for lunch on Sunday, just a few days before Xmas, as expected, it was very busy, we were well informed that it might take slightly longer than usual, at the end, foods actually arrived much quicker than expect and foods were good for the price, big shout out to Laura, she was very good for her job. We went to the same Harvester 3 times in the last couple months , free parking and we didn't had a bad meals yet, it slowly became one of our go to places for comfort foods.

Went for lunch quite spontaneously without booking. Got a table immediately. The place looked very clean, the service (Terri looked after us) was very good and the food was lovely. Will come again .

Our waitress Heather was an absolute star. She ensured I got the meal I wanted even though it wasn’t a dish on the menu, was attentive to our table and made my little girl so welcome. She stopped to take extra notice of the baby to make sure she was ok (and to make friends!). On multiple occasions noticed she had dropped her fork so swooped in to clean it for us. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to serve us! The food was delivered promptly and hot, with no concerns at all. A lovely spontaneous evening out for dinner! Thank you to Heather and the chefs!

We were served by Alison who was extremely friendly and attentive. We did not have to wait at any point, we were given our salad bowls, served our drinks and our food very promptly. The food was delicious, I had sirloin steak which was cooked beautifully. Alison made sure that she offered us desserts and coffees but we were just too full. All in all a very pleasant experience made all the better by our lovely server. Thank you.

First time here for our small party of 8. Lovely atmosphere with all the Christmas decorations. Great food and marvellous service especially as it was so busy.

Arrived on time, shown our table, ordered drinks, asked for 5 mins extra to just look at food. Waitress then seemed to ignore us and serve others. We had to get her attention. Food took ages. All four portions of chips were cold. My hubby sent his back it had cheese and real bacon on them. His next portion were hot but had bacon bits on instead if real bacon. Paid extra for this...Rip off. Burgers were thin, overcook and tasted like cheap bread filled burgers not meaty at all. Salad on burgers was one tiny slice of lettuce and the thinnest cut tomato. Bun were dried up and flat. We were throughly disappointed. Seeing I work in a trade that can point people to a restaurant for large families. I won't be recommending Cooper Dean Beefeater. Actually the very opposite. For £18 a burger I think from now on 7 bone and Five guys is the place to go for a burger meal! Salad bar was bear of items too

You could put a screen over the salad cart to prevent foreign objects like hair falling in the food and cross contamination with other foods in the cart. You coukd also give management and staff better food hygiene training so that when someone finds a hair etc in the salad the staff are prompt to condemn the cart, clear it and replace all the food for new rather than allowing other customers to keep eating from a contaminated food cart

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, good food

The staff were very good and attentive, but that's about it unfortunately. The menu is so confusing we had to ask for help to decipher it. The food itself was poor for the price asked- greasy, bland and clearly not prepared fresh in any sense. The salad bar was pitiful and something tasted off, although I couldn't identify the offending element. The building was falling apart with a dirty rag hanging from a speaker, gaffa tape on the plaster, facias falling off. We couldn't wait to leave. To top it all, maybe coincidentally? I have just recovered from a very nasty bout of sickness/stomach bug. Let's see what the refurb looks like, but some professional advise would be recommended on food standard and work on a 'wow' menu that this place desperately needs.

Today we were served by Heather. She was so attentive in her service. Warm and friendly. Even though it was fairly busy the service was excellent. We had a lovely meal that was nicely cooked and very tasty. The chips weren't as hot as the rest of the food but were still warm. The food was prepared in a timely manner and you could see into part of the kitchen which looked nice and clean. Currently (Nov 2024) they have some work happening to the building and directly outside the building. This did mean there was some noise from the work being done. The building is quite well insulated from sound so it wasn't too bad and it didn't ruin the cosy atmosphere. I have been a few times and the atmosphere is always cosy and welcoming. Thank you Heather for making a treat into a special occasion ❤️

I was invited by friends and only stayed 20 minutes! 2 weeks later recieced £100 parking fine. No one warned me either, never again

Really lovely food and service, the waiter was really helpful with the app and the food allergies were catered for with great care.

We were lucky to go on quite a quiet day so the food came very fast. Generally the food was great (lemon blizzard sundae is amazing!) Terri was our server and she was super friendly and helped up with everything we needed. Salad bar is always amazing - best part of a harvester in my eyes

The menu is simple and choices for even the fussiest eater in our group. The food was ok - salad bar was well stocked Terri was a good hostess

Menu has really improved since we last went to a Harvester. Restaurant was really clean & well presented & the salad buffet was outstandingly clean. Thank you Heather, who was our waitress. You were very engaging and reacted quickly to our needs and those of other customers. A very positive experience all round!

Awful place, poor service, poor food that was not worth the money. Would not recommend this place at all. Poor lighting and freezing cold. Some people were waiting well over an hour from their food.

Absolutely disgusted to receive a parking fine at the cooper dean harvester. Having arrived in the evening when dark and raining, did not look for any signs. Was not told about registering my car at any point during my meal. Lovely evening but now spoilt will never return and will ensure others know as well. Point to add I have been to other restaurants that do this and the first thing the server asks whether our car has been registered. A lack of customer service at Cooper Dean.

The server Heather was polite very friendly and went above and beyond, she’s an asset to your company. The chef George I couldn’t fault steak cooked to perfect and chicken was succulent and tasty. Will definitely be returning 😊

Arrived at 9pm Sunday greeted with we are closing in 30 mins !! We were not informed of the need to give our vehicle registration number. Two days later we received a parking ticket of £100 each for a 30 mins drink Fortunately the pub did get the tickets lifted but the whole experience has made us avoid this place in the future.

Rachel always goes above and beyond with her cheery manner and excellent service. We so enjoy our regular girls get together on the round table. 😍 Many thanks Rachel

This place needs to close and reopen with a new approach to customer service. Gobsmacked to be told that we were lucky to be allowed in as they were closing early due to lack of customers. They advertise opening hours...but clearly don't stick to them. We were shown to a dirty table, then the staff had a disagreement and we were told to move to another table elsewhere. The food was so basic, the chef clearly had no idea on how to cook a medium-rare steak...I know it's just a Harvester, but surely a steak can be cooked right? The peas, well...the life has been cooked out of them. The mushroom? Well... shriveled and dehydrated - appalling. The salad was being cleared away and they stopped when they realised we hadn't had ours yet - and we got to choose from the few pots that were left. The Guinness, well I wouldn't wish it on someone that I don't like! All in all, we felt like an absolute inconvenience from start to finish. Don't go here, unless you love disappointment.

Some staff were running around like headless chickens, others walked around gormlessley not knowing their left to right. Food took ages to come out, when it did the order was incorrect, we had to ask more than twice for our drinks. Wouldn’t return as when questioned there was no apology from the staff and the tip was auto added onto the bill.

Nice cosy place with friendly staff and a lovely lady served us on the day when we went to have lunch there upon arriving in Bournemouth town.I believe her name was Deborah she was kind, and sociable and made our experience very pleasant. So much so that we returned the next morning to have breakfast there too. Thank you and we hope to be back soon.
