A very nice restaurant off of Cooper Dean Roundabout in Bournemouth, the food is excellent and reasonably priced (I had the gammon, eggs & chips) which was absolutely delicious, the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was also delightful.

Laura greeted us and made us feel welcome. My tart and chips was great and always enjoy the mini pud and coffee.

Had our own little area near the ladies toilets, felt very private. Heather took great care of us, helping us make our own mixed grill as they were out of gammon. And got cool plates for the kids meals which was appreciated. Thank you Heather for making us feel very well looked after

Booked a table for 5 - Oder taken waitress talked so quickly not listening got the order wrong on two meals-dinners were just dumped and shoved on the table when asked everting ok we said it is now - but she never asked what the problem was.waited over 30 mins for pudding order - terrible we are locals. But we will not be back - restaurant was very hot - pan d £98.00 for the meal- waste of money .

Heather was a very friendly & efficient server; nothing was too much trouble. Impressive menu - Chicken skewer was scrummy as was the salmon rice bowl. Left feeling happy & stuffed!!

Came here Sunday for my mums birthday we were seated straight away we had a lovley waiter I think he was Spanish didn't get his name but he was fantastic quick service and also very funny thoughrouly enjoyed our visit

The food was nice and hot, and plenty of the salad, someone was always checking on it

Chicken was undercooked, was pink in the middle and very chewy. I was told that it was because it was near the bone and I told them that was not true. Didn't offer any money off because of it. Made me ill the next day. Very poor service. Have eaten there for years and not had any problems at all.

Time for these restaurants to have adult only areas . Despite requesting areas away from children due to mobility issues we had to negotiate children crawling underneath tables and toddlers throwing food on the floor. ( which parents didn't pick up... Slips trips and falls . Management response - "what do you expect we are a family restaurant! " . The referanced email merely said too many bookings to facilitate a special request / reasonable adjustment under the EA 2010 and evidently too busy to call and advise my request was not possible .

Disappointing Portions for the Price I was really disappointed with the portion sizes here. The food is ridiculously small for the price they charge—it just doesn't make sense. The haddock, skewered chicken, and other dishes were barely enough, making it feel like a complete rip-off. If you're going to charge premium prices, at least serve a decent portion. Definitely not worth the money! Won't be coming back.

If you have a nut allergy no point in going

Initially we wasn't acknowledged when we turned up for our reservation with several people walking past us. Front of house eventually seated us but was very short and unhappy. We eventually was served by Heather, who was very friendly and had great customer service. Food was spot on and good value for money.

Yesterday went on s cold and dreary day to the durley for lunch to cheer me up on this damp day,. Was greeted with a smile that warmed me up and sat in a cosy area. Was greeted by a young chap called Dale who was pleasant and upbeat. His cheerines and charisma was outstanding. What a pleasant surprise from other outlets in town. The food came and that matched everything we expect. Shame we couldn't stay for a pudding as was meeting with friends in town. Will call on again as this is now the place to go for excellent service and great food. Well done all the staff and a big shout out to Dale who was on on pain with a bad leg but continued to deliver. Will be back

Great place for lunch or dinner. We often get vouchers through their reward club. This time I got a free meal.

Went in for a Breakfast. Instantly, Ashley came over to us and took us to our table. She was very helpful and kind. Food was quick and good too.

Food was up to standard however we did have an issue with the table. Fortunately the waitress was able to move us to a more suitable part of the restaurant.

Visited with my mum for breakfast last Thursday. Really lovely inside, had a refurb and has a really nice feel. The waitress who served me was so wonderful! A breath of fresh air! A lovely way to start a birthday :)

Been going here for 20years+ but will not go again after this evening. Waited 20mins and had to chase our drinks. Service slow, food when it eventually came had cold things on the plate e.g. peas were literally stone cold. Sausage had been cooked for some time and was black. Worst mixed grill I have ever, ever had. Wife's potato was also stone cold, they credited a drink off the bill as compensation. If you are morbidly obese you will feel comfortable here, there are lots of people like you around the place.

Lovely lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of spaces in the car park and seating inside. Salad bar being restocked often and helpful staff. I wasn't offered anything for the children to do whilst they waited for food.

My experience at Harvester was disappointing. On arrival for breakfast, the staff did not approach us, and we had to go to them twice, only to find them engaged in a conversation with each other. It was clear we were seen as an interruption rather than valued customers. After finally settling at our table, we ordered breakfast for two. While one was passable, the other fell short in multiple ways. The coffee was particularly terrible—both in temperature and flavor. I had to return it to the bar myself, which was an inconvenience, only to receive a replacement that was just as bad. I didn’t bother drinking it. The breakfast itself was underwhelming. The scrambled eggs were clearly not freshly cooked, with a rubbery texture that made them unappetizing. The bacon and beans were served cold, which further ruined the experience. Overall, the lack of attention from the staff, coupled with poorly prepared food and drinks, left me very dissatisfied. I wouldn’t recommend this place for breakfast based on my experience. I wouldnt ever be coming back

Been a long time since been to a harvester for breakkie but deffo the best we've been to. Heather our server was exceptionally amazing! Offered any drink top ups when needed, always checking in and with a smile! Decor of the place was great and clean. Thank you all for a great experience...will be back soon x

For the first time during all our visits, we were disappointed with the food I normally have a main menu meal this time decided to have a Xmas set meal 2 courses prawn cocktail was disappointing prawns were tasteless main meal turkey dinner potatoes soft and veg was very hard turkey was dry Yorkshire pudding over cooked could not eat it gravy was watery but salad was lovely as usual we topped up on the salad my wife's simply chicken the chicken was dry so not so good this time harvester

Staff were very busy but very polite. Manager was too busy chatting to friends to bother to help. Sat by door and freezing every time someone came in or left door open. Birthday meal and very disappointed

Easy to park. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice of food on menu. Salad bar was fresh and well-stocked

Salad bar boring. Needs more diversity. Main courses overcooked burgers was like eating cardboard. Hardly any pulled pork on the burger. Dissatisfied for sure. For money spent could go elsewhere where much much better.

Best Harvester we’ve visited in a long time.

Unfriendly welcome from the staff, no one to greet us on arrival, me and my fiance only wanted to stop by for a drink at 9:00pm and the bartender had saw us then left the bar, she then came back with the assistant manager who had straight away asked us for ID and said they was closing the bar in 10 minutes. Which is unusual for a restaurant/bar to close at 9:30pm working in hospitality myself I know the licensing for bar opening times. We felt very unwelcome and did not want to stay for long so we ended up leaving after having finished only half of our drink. Other guests had asked for drinks and there was no mention to them about the bar closing, over all we just felt discriminated so we left, perhaps it was due to our appearance even being in our 30’s but having tattoos maybe the staff did not like this. Will not be coming back.

A party of nine of us went to the Harvester on Thursday evening. Our waitress ‘Heather’ could not have been more helpful and accommodating. She made sure all dietary requirements were met and catered for the three year olds request for a bowl of ice (topping it up throughout the evening). She was attentive but not over the top. I really appreciated this level of service and would happily visit again.

Heather was our server and she was absolutely amazing, helpful, and a joy to have met. A very great meal out thanks to her!

We have been coming here for years. We visit my mother from Suffulk every 3/6 months and come here. The new referb looks lovely. Our server, Heather We have, had on many occasions is great, super help, kind and really helpful. We look forward to coming again soon. :) thank you 😊

Brilliant lunch on New Year's Day

Went for a New Year’s Day breakfast with my family and it was wonderfully cooked, very fresh and delicious. Very good for money and the service was wonderful! Thank you elina for making our experience wonderful.

Lovely family restaurant. Our waitress Alison was very good as we had 2 people with allergies and she handled them very sympathetically. The children in our group said 'She was the best waitress ever'. Only problem is that the coeliac person found few things she could have and the chains allergen info is very difficult to negotiate on the net. I have seen other chains internet offerings where you can select an allergen and the menu will then only show food that would be acceptable or could be modified to make it acceptable. Here you basically had to check each dish to see whether it contained your allergen. The waitress could answer questions about the dishes.

Booked for Boxing Day and selected on booking that we would be having the Boxing Day menu, only to be told when we got there at lunchtime that unless we had pre-booked turkey there was none (which was not advised prior to arrival). Also they had been out shopping to get yorkshires as they had none either! When the food arrived it had obviously been sitting under the heat lamp for a while as the chicken and salmon were both very dry. The staff were amazing (especially Terri) but were obviously run off their feet and I heard them say that the kitchen was not communicating with them when food was ready. With the roast - the Yorkshire, pigs in blankets and stuffing arrived on a separate plate 15 minutes after the main meal was serviced. With the burger - the wrong fries were brought out, no pigs in blankets on the top as per the menu and no gravy (I had to ask for that). I have eaten there on several occasions in the past with no issues but was very disappointed this time. Considering most of the tables were booked prior to the day (as we could hear them saying at reception) they seemed very unprepared for the amount of people coming in.
