Costa Coffee in Bournemouth

Unbelievable behaviour today from barista Andrea. She should work in 18+ bar and not in cafe if she can’t tolerate kids. Our toddler was walking around today and exploring, touching things yes but he wasn’t naughty. Wasn’t climbing onto things, wasn’t hitting or kicking things, nothing like that and wasn’t even loud. And she came to tell us he can’t be touching the wooden stand for recycling cups because it’s expensive. Not because it could fall on him or hurt him or because it’s not hygienic. Because it’s expensive like she’s the one paying for it. I have no words to say, it was so rude and such a bad customer service. Please give her a proper training on how to treat customers before you loose them.

I remember you from years ago, from a visit shortly before Christmas. The friendly staff was such a heart-warming and welcoming breath of fresh air for me. 🙏🏻😎👍🏻 But if this Costa is in Primark, which I gather from the other reviews, then it may not be the same Costa I don't really remember the Primark. It may have been there. I do remember the warmly welcoming woman behind the counter who encouraged me to go for the marshmallow treat. "Go on! It's Christmas!" she said. I was really grateful for that. She made a difference in my life because there wasn't any of that where I was living at the time. People who work behind Costa counters and so on can really make a difference. 🥰 I want them to know that. 🙏🏻

I came to Costa for the first time, to the primark shop, just wanting a latte while I waited for my girlfriend. I requested a coffee to drink in the shop, and they said it would have to be in a takeaway cup as they didn’t have any cups. However, they are literally on top of the coffee machine where everyone can see they do have more than enough; maybe they just didn’t want to clean them. The barista, a woman with long hair, handed me the coffee, and I mentioned that I didn’t need the lid since I was drinking it there. On my way to find a seat, she shouted at me, "Well, don't spill it then!" I found that very rude. I don’t think they would have said something like that if I had been given a normal cup instead of a takeaway cup like in other places. Being shouted at in front of other customers was indeed an unpleasant experience, and I don’t think I’ll come back again. I don’t believe this meets the standards of Costa Coffee.

We visited Costa Primark as I had offers to use. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was a good atmosphere.

I went in earlier and there was loads of kids about 8 screaming and going to different tables which isn’t there own we got the white chocolate strawberry hot milkshake that was nice and we also got chocolate hot milkshake and I T tasted like it had just come of a saucepan we also got a strawberry and cream frappe and that was atrocious all the over costes are alright don’t come to this one go to Starbucks it’s better

I would highly recommend coming to Costa in Primark if you want to grab a quick bite to eat during your clothes shop! Staff are very friendly and are quick with preparing food and drinks. Would come back when I’m back in town that’s for certain!

Good service furniture could do with upgrading

Although situated in Primark this doesn't detract from the service or relaxed atmosphere, in fact I use this Costa more than the high street stand alone. Always excellent service and as usual great value for money

Busy, vibrant setting upstairs in Primark. Friendly staff, long queue today. No snacks to tempt me so just had a coffee ☕. Better for my waistline though!

Like a costa hot chocolate. Only thing for me is a stomach ache after. Even though its supposed to be vegan and I have coconut milk. Lots of people with dairy intolerance say the same. Strange

No mobile or WiFi signal so card machine doesn't work with phone and loyalty beans don't register. Zero vegan food options.

Really good staff in this branch. Clean, tidy, well stocked. Hot chocolate was actually hot. Wiltshire Ham and cheddar cheese toastie was very synthetic tasting but that is Costa food standard anyway, so was expected. It does get very busy. Good pitstop whilst shopping in this Primark store b cause it is a big one to get around.

Always great service and value for money plus the quality is great too. Costa App and card is a winner for regular customers.

Very tucked away , wouldnt of notice unless you looked up from outside , first time missed it and ending up eating else where but got me coffee in the end.

As always great, although member of staff was clearing our table as we were still at it, making us feel he wanted us to get out, it was a quite day, with two or three other tables in use and about 3 hours till closing, so shouldn't have been an issue, otherwise great coffee and cake as always

When ordering drinks, customers two and three people behind me where getting their drinks before me. I didn't have a big order, only 2 drinks, frustrating.

Coffee was lovely, slight wait for our drinks but seeing as there was only one young lady serving and making, think she can be forgiven. She was constantly smiling, can't remember her name but Bagan with an M

Centrally located coffee shop, with extremely nice staff and great coffee and cakes. Cosy, relaxing atmosphere.

Way too expensive lots of better coffee shops in town food is astronomically expensive

Lovely coffee as always. However only 4 stars due to big in store advertising on Maple Hazelnut syrup drinks. All excited but let down when told none in stock.

Went to Primark on Bournemouth with my 3 years old toddler and a baby. Because I was the only adult I left my toddler in a sofa waiting for me and took the baby in my arms to get my tray with drink and food. The tray it was a bit heavy for me take it with only one hand,as I was holding the baby in the other hand so I star spelling my drink. Anyway I make it to my table but it is such a shame that No member of the staff that were behind the counter offer to help as it was no one after me and was pretty much quite in the lobby.

It is within Primark. Good place to unwind while you do your shopping. However, the ambiance is not all that great for a 5 star rating.

Last two times i have been i have ordered a chai latte. Both times they have been terrible. Last one was so weak amd barely hot. This one they decided to give me half a glass of froth, which again was not hot in the slightest. Staff member gave me a look of disgust when I asked for a new one. She was clearly very new, but there was no one observing her

The place is nice and the drinks are delicious. The spot itself, however, is in a rather strange location and it feels a bit squeezed it, if you know what I mean. The bathroom is a bit dodgy, but it works. Also had a mistake with my drink which was resolved smoothly, so kudos to staff for getting this sorted without any fuss.

I visit so many Costa's on a regular basis, absolutely love this one. Duarte served me and was amazing and super helpful in my visit. Products were hot and professionally produced. Lovely experience to have gone through. 👍👍👍👍👍

Went into Costa Primark today and was served by a new face I believe his name was Dwayne ordered a flat white and must say the customer service made my day ! A smile and being called lovely is always a plus the girls were also lovely

Had the lunch deal at the Primark Costa in Bournemouth. Staff performance was good and serving was prompt.

It's only a small Costa, drinks are great but cakes weren't fresh (Chocolate Caramel Bun) being a good example, tasted dry and like it was from the day before.

Costa coffee in Primark, Bournemouth. Terrible customer service and very slow! We visited at midday on 6/10/2020 and did not like the service especially from the female member of staff! There was a long hair on the plate of the muffin she gave me aswell, she was so abrupt and not very friendly.

The workers where friendly and tables where clean.

Very disappointing trip went to allow my 3 young children too use the restroom before going too the cafe, but was disgusted by the state of the toilet, poo covered toilet roll scattered all over the floor, overflowing sanitary bin, liquid all over the floor quite possibly urine. Highly disappointed especially with the current situation I would expect a high level of cleaniness. But me off wanting too sit down and have a drink after this.

Lovely place and staff and being in primark makes it even better 🙂

Coffee is as you respect staff is not that friendly did not see you smile or thank you very disappointed you get what you get in this sort of places

Great place for a coffee while the wife's shopping in the same store

This is a fairly typical example of this chain of coffee shops with the normal range of copies and cakes/biscuits. It is comfortably laid outand has a good atmosphere and the staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. On our visit it was very busy and whilst it seemed a bit short of staff, tables were cleared and cleaned promptly.

It's just a chain coffee shop nothing outstanding.

I love costa coffee but I will never return to this shop. I had cortado, which is short and strong, and got it short but definitely weaker than in other Costa coffee shops. My wife had latte and said she could only taste milk. We had 2 weakest costa coffees ever

I have given it 4 stars but not sure which Costa Coffee I am writing about been in so many just lately, most of them are worth 4 stars

I found that the staff in Costa Coffee in the triangle Bournemouth were aggressive if they do not like Bournemouth then I suggest that they go somewhere else ! 😠

Small coffee shop inside Primark. Quick service and lots of variety. Plenty of seating for the demand.

I went to Primark for a few bits and had to feed the baby at about 11am. We thought as there was a Costa on the premises it would be ideal. The coffee was ok but the toilets were out of use and if I wanted to use the baby changing facilities I would have to find a member of Primark staff for a key. The staff were unapologetic and disinterested. Another customer told me that they were advised the toilets were in Marks and Spencers opposite.

Excellent location and staff, just one thing - they have a limited number of seats due to the small space there.

I used to go to this Costa, always liked the good customer service that they usually had, if I compare with other costa around for this was the Best, was sad to see them go.

Of all the local Costas this is the one to avoid, it's full of dust and very tired. Service very so so.
