The best restaurants in Central Bournemouth South West

Upon first arrival seems pleasant , reception barely polite , towels in room not clean , dirty / murky water from bath tap . We also heard constant arguments and shouting throughout the night which caused a restless night . Wouldnt return to this particular hotel again .

The food was poor jacket potato cold and the staff were miserable unfriendly considering the view they have everyday outside 😢

What has happened to TGI's? I have eaten at many of these restaurants over the years and around the world. Bournemouth has lost the plot I'm afraid! Dirty, slow, cold food and out of order toilets. Expensive (especially drinks) £10 for a 125ml glass of prosecco for instance - which was flat! The staff looked like they were about to burst into tears as well. Really dissapointed.

Sprinkle Gelato has the best dessert options in Brighton! The gelato is fresh, and the crepes are to die for. A little slice of heaven in the heart of the city.

Absolutely outrageous I ordered a doner meat and chips platter some chips was still part frozen, the kebab meat was outrageous am 99% it was yesterdays meat and just wacked on the grill garlic sauce was disgusting priced at £11.50 definitely not again can go to Dorchester and get a better kebab for a more substantial price and proper meat instead of cheap shit WORST KEBAB EVER

We went as a party of 19 for Sunday Lunch. Staff in both the restaurant and the bar/lounge area were really welcoming, friendly and very accomodating. Food was 3 courses, choice of starters and deserts. Main course was a carvery - very good selection of beef, pork, turkey and even battered fish. The beef was particularly excellent. Very good value for money at £12.95 for 3 courses (half price for children and unders 5s eat free). It was all help yourself and there's no drinks table service - you have to go to the bar just through in the lounge but this isn't an issue. Plenty of water available too. Plates were cleared away quickly and efficiently. This lunch was a perfect Sunday carvery - relaxed and friendly. If you're looking for a fancy restaurant, this isn't for you, but it's great value in a hotel right near to the beach. We sat in the garden area with coffees after lunch and it was lovely.

Came to Bournemouth for a few days and round the corner was this place. You never forget if you have been to Nathan’s in New York and so it couldn’t be the same experience or could it. Absolutely excellent, what a great experience and really friendly staff. The hotdog was perfect and the Chicken Wings were superb. What a find and both my wife and I were very happy.

This was our first visit to brewdog. The staff were brilliant, our waitress , Izzy, was attentive, patient and friendly..we couldn't have asked for better. The atmosphere was nice and the drinks good. The food wasn't amazing. There was barely any choose for gluten free vegetarian (definitely non if coeliac) the couple of snacks we could eat were fairly average. The loaded fries were nice but the grazing platters a bit hit or miss alot of money for not alot of food . The cauli wings tasted of vinager and spice....my son liked so they didn't get wasted but not very nice was the overall judgement on them. We had a lovely time as a family, playing games in a nice atmosphere and as I e said the staff were brilliant. Just a let down on the food front.

I ordered a supreme and what I got was far from that, I got the smallest taco they could possibly find with a tiny bit of beef in the bottom and a little salad, it was cold and an absolute joke do not I repeat do not buy food here it's a complete waste of your money

We ordered at 6.10pm and had to change order as the wait for what we wanted would be 25 minutes … soo we changed our order and ended up eating at 6.40 half an hour after order was taken and the rest of order was still to come it didn’t even come out in full .. 10 minutes later the wings came .. such a long wait 40 minutes in total .. the restaurant was empty and they were dealing with uber eats/ deliveroo drivers swarming in and out .. so giving them priority rather than us the only customers waiting in the restaurant …I had to complain to get some of our food out half an hour later . Later after we finished ..another man came in complaining about the same problem that his order was way over due . I mean they should just be truthful at time of order that the wait is so and so long . The service is very bad and tooo slow I would avoid if you are hungry … I’d like to know what it’s like when the restaurant is full capacity .. plus their prices are more expensive than Birmingham . I definitely won’t be returning here ..

We came in last night to get some pizza. We were very impressed with the level of customer service. Marissa the manger was extremely polite and helpful. She directed us to the best offerers available and is genuinely a very nice person to speak to. Needs a raise. Area manager maybe?? Will be coming back.

The smallest single scoop of ice cream I’ve ever been given. I complained and was told that it was full inside which I could feel wasn’t true. I didn’t want to argue but will never use them again.

I just wanted to buy two cold drinks bottles, the employee there ignored me completely and we ended up leaving with nothing while he glared at us. Appalling behaviour.

LOVED my 6 inch and it was my birthday and sadik gave me a free cookie, he was so lovely.
