I just wanted to buy two cold drinks bottles, the employee there ignored me completely and we ended up leaving with nothing while he glared at us. Appalling behaviour.

Went hoping to redeem my free cake or muffin Birthday treat which they do not do in this particular franchise. Drinks were nice, presented well, tasted good. The toilet was not working so I was advised to ask at the Odeon if they would allow us to use theirs as BH2 does not have public toilets. Servers were pleasant.

Good drinks and service, however it was disappointing that they do not take Costa rewards from the app… I assume it is because they are located within the Odean Cinema but I am unsure. I had the KitKat Frappe which was delicious!

Today I had a rather unpleasant experience at Costa Odeon (Bournemouth), I was served by a girl with orange hair. The last few weeks I've been to the same place to drink coffee, they prepare it exquisitely, which is why I was a regular customer there. Well I tell you, I ordered two coffees sliced to drink there in the store and a croissant to accompany it, she gave me the croissant in a paper bag and served me the two sliced ones in those take away cardboard cups, I told her It's to be drunk here, he didn't listen to me, he put the coffee in one of those large glasses to put a chopped coffee in, then I asked him can he warm up the croissant since it was iced, he did it then put it back into the bag of paper, I told him could you give me a plate, please give it to me, he didn't give me napkins, cutlery, or a tray to put my two cuts so I could take it to the table. The service was terrible, I paid almost £10 for two cold coffees and a cold croissant. Sitting at the table I could see how she served the other customers, she served them in crystal glasses, plates, cutlery, table service, she served them better since from above it was obvious that those customers were English, not like me, who is a foreigner. . It seemed like a very discriminatory, racist treatment, I didn't enjoy my coffee and unfortunately I won't return to that place which makes me sad since with the other employees the attention, the coffee everything was 10 but with this girl it was a terrible experience.

Love the service from the woman with purple (was a bit faded when I went in) hair. Very happy with my coconut hot chocolate and babyccino.

Will and Mr. Richards make fabulous coffee. In the last few weeks Will has played some of finest contemporary r + b /hip-hop soul music produced in the last thirty years. This adds considerable sensual value to visiting the bh2 Odeon. This has improved my mood, to remarkable effect. — and it makes such [an edifying] change, compared to hearing to the regular /depressing guitar music that you hear everywhere in Bournemouth! ______________________ update, January .24: This is a good Costa outlet, certainly in terms of service. My only issue is the quite ridiculous cost of many of the food and drink items. The workers are wonderful. Mademoiselle Ellie, barista of the year, is always friendly, as she is inscrutable. Ellie makes excellent coffee and is always professional in her manner, even when dealing with impatient and curmudgeonly old men. i could never be as complaisant. Disregard the negative reviews posted here. They are written by malcontented and inimical old men carrying a surfeit of bile that will corrode the soul. These individuals also have no appreciation of culture, or the arts.

Surprised this Costa had so many unflattering reviews so sharing a positive one to balance it out. Wonderful, polite and cheerful staff always greet me and yummy fresh baked goods. The only downside is it’s actually owned by Odeon as a franchise and therefore you can’t spend loyalty points or gift cards inside. As far as I’m concerned, if your frontage says Costa you should fully operate as one, but that’s my opinion. Nice little place otherwise, was surprised to hear people say the staff are rude as I’ve not once found that.

Maybe it is good but we couldn't find it. No signs nowhere, we walked circles and finally went to another place

Unfortunately they didn’t had a quarter of a star or I would’ve given them a quarter of a star. One star is way too much for this branch the customer service in here is literally below beltline .

Still a bit in shock over how bad this Costa is. I probably should have looked at all of the other Google reviews for this place first. Keeping it simple, as I could probably be here all day; * Rude Staff * really dirty seating area, there is no way that area has been cleaned all day. * The toilets are out of order, with no alternative. * The flavoured coffee, had no syrup in it (thanks guys). * They don’t accept Costa gift cards. How this place is allowed to even be associated with the Costa brand is beyond me. If you are visiting this place, definite get a coffee, just don’t get it in this Costa!

Met up with a mate, first time in years cos of covid, moving house etc... so meal then coffee to take into cinema. Saw lady behind counter looked like she was serving someone so we patiently waited. Only place to get a coffee near the cinema... you think they'd notice 3 people, me getting my purse out, saying which coffees we'll have, happy excitement. You'd also expect a polite 'sorry were closed'... then we would have had time to walk into town, but no... when the other lady went, the lady behind the counter ignored us, was behind the counter... i said "can we have some coffees please", another woman said rudely in a sharp tone "we're closed, just closed at 9"... Now we bought our tickets a few moments earlier at 8.50pm so we'd been waiting since about 8.53 to be served. Normally we'd put up with rude non service, but is it a ploy to ignore customers until your closed!? Terrible customer service! So i spoke out and said, "well you could have told us that before you let us wait for these 5 minutes or so, obviously waiting patiently to be served! You saw us all standing here!" I was not impressed. Do not recommend, will make sure get coffee anywhere but there from now on.

Very disappointed, been in Bournemouth for few days and I love my costa coffee every morning since years. The first day I went(Thursday the 5th) been told the shop will open in about 20 min( around 10. am) even though on their website it says 9.am, what's the point to open at 10.am? Came back in the evening last customer, no cream, no Clubcard reader working. Came back the second day at 10.am, other people were waiting as well, been told by a guy from Odeon that probably is gone take 1 hour to open due to the shortage of staff.Never experienced that in a Costa coffee. The only nice thing i cand say is the lady with the grey hair who made a lovely coffee , didn't like the attitude of the other lady.

Absolutely disgusted and embarrassed for staff members to refer to my two children, both younger than 3 years, as ptyerodactlys and goats. What kind of staff members feels that is appropriate. They can consider themselves lucky I didn't climb over there till.

If I could give it 0 stars I would, any parent will know the struggle of unhappy children who are making a lot of noise, now imagine you're that parent trying your best to calm your children down, thinking maybe a snack and a drink might help, only to have the staff make rude and nasty comments about your children as you're handing over money to pay for the items. That anyone would think it's okay to refer to someone under the age of 3 in that way is beyond disgusting.

Lovely coffee and it's always a pleasure to turn up early enough for a coffee and a sit down pre movie. Staff have always been friendly and polite. The coffee has always been nicely done and I cannot find a fault with any of it. Treat yourself next time you see a movie. Plenty of food on offer to for a quick bite too.

Food was delivered hot but tasted terrible, salt and pepper chicken had raw garlic, chicken curry was creamy with no spices at all. Salt and pepper chips half raw and zero crispness. Worst Chinese I've ever had
