Went down a couple of times, lovely pub with a great potential Will and Chanelle are very welcoming . It will be an amazing pub when it’s done up . New owners have taken over can’t wait to see what it will be like after revamp . Will be back soon .

Ordered a late night takeaway from here, the deliveryman was very friendly and polite. The food was really tasty - we ordered a large al falafel special pizza and some falafel wraps - it was all delicious and reasonably priced. If you ever consider ordering...

We visited this place very recently as thought it would make a change from spoons etc. The cafe is very small.we didnt get a hello or any kind of welcome..anyway we sat down and asked for a menu only to be told it was on the board by the order counter. There was a blackboard with about 5 items..So I assumed it was just the specials board..So I asked what else they did but I was told quite abruptly that there was nothing else on offer. I did fancy a jacket potato with beans, or a bacon sandwich or a fry up..So I said to the lady that I didn't want either of the 5 items on offer..She preceeded to say rather rudely.."Well that's enough" lol... Needless to say we left without ordering. This is the worse cafe in MSN..No wonder they had to move up the corridor to somewhere half the size..Essence cafe..A smile doesn't hurt plus to offer 5 items only plus cake is ridiculous In future will stick to spoons or jacarandas

A warm, welcoming members club that allows non members to visit. A decent pint of ale there served by a friendly bar person.

Very quiet, so plenty of seating was available, and it was clean and tidy. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered a flat white, which had an odd taste, so I didn't finish it. Was unable to redeem my free drink on the Costa Card as it's a franchise, which was a little disappointing as well. It's at the entrance to the cinema so I imagine it can get very busy at certain times.

Fanastic quiche and salad friendly staff. Brought plate to table. And delicious hot chocolate. So much choice. I had a vegetable quiche. And salad and coleslaw. I definitely go back again

It’s a one star delivery service for me. The delivery man was rude about the exact location not sent to him via restaurant when I’ve already highlighted the exact spot I wanted it to be delivered on Uber. I’ve also tried calling the number back to ask where they were after standing in the cold and they did not pick up. The delivery man’s attitude is completely unacceptable, such bad service. Food was amazing but not the service.

Went for Sunday lunch and was disappointed, it was served Luke warm and was absolutely swimming in gravy. This is the second disappointing lunch that I have had at The Locksbrook, so may give it a miss for a while.

Really good place. Friendly stuff, no preassure. Food was top! Way better then i expected. Drinks strong and tasty. I would say that price is fair.

Everything was perfect. The waitress was lovely and very friendly. The place was cozy, and the food was delicious! What more could you ask for? :)

I visited this Indian restaurant based on its Google reviews, but my experience was nothing like what I expected. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was dull and unimpressive. The service was beyond terrible—slow, inattentive, and unprofessional. The food itself was of very poor quality, lacked authentic flavor, and was simply not enjoyable. But the worst part was the hygiene—or lack thereof. A trip to the restroom revealed just how poorly maintained the entire place is. The cleanliness of the kitchen was also highly questionable, making me wonder how this restaurant is even still operating. We visited with kids, and by nighttime, everyone had stomach aches, which is deeply concerning. On top of everything, the prices were outrageously high for what was essentially a low-standard dining experience. You might be able to overlook bad service or overpriced food, but when it comes to hygiene and health, it’s non-negotiable. If you care about your well-being, avoid this place at all costs!
