The Harington Club in Bath and North East Somerset

A warm, welcoming members club that allows non members to visit. A decent pint of ale there served by a friendly bar person.

Lovely little club. Attend a few nights a year for away games of skittles. Bar staff are always very friendly and accommodating.

Had a couple of beers outside with Martin, a member of the club. Who with Jo were very welcoming people.

Great club, I am a visiting former member, having lived in Bath for many years. Great skittles, snooker, food, beer etc , quizzes, quiet reading/meetings room.

Great place to relax with a drink and game of snooker.

My first time at this club. The drinks are brilliant as was the bar lady. BUT the gents toilets absolutely stinks of urine! Please please use bleach as it's unacceptable. The urinal pipes discharge into a drain and this is stained and must have been like this for a long time. Very disappointing indeed!

What a wonderful find. Friendly staff, well kept beer and a little oasis away from the chaos of life.

We happened upon this place while walking past. There were a number of tables set outside and we had been looking for a place to sit for a beer in the sun but out of the wind. I understand from chatting with the owner that the open outside seating is not the norm as it is a members club but because of covid, being inside is not an option, so it opened up outside to non-members and might continue to be so after the next round of covid relaxing. At this time, they offer no food and a beer is a beer. So, what made this rate high or even get a rating at all when I have no idea what being a member is? The service was simply great, the server (who seems also to be part of the management) was super accommodating and friendly. In fact, after leaving, we stopped for fishnchips at the Scallops Shell (very good also) and on our way home walked by the Harington again and our same table was open so asked if we could stop and eat while having another beer, again super accomodating, we sat there, had a beer and ate our fish n' chips. I hope they continue the outdoor service for non members and wish them much success.

A wonderful little place that has a quiet atmosphere, very friendly clientele and great service.

Apart from a full size snooker table, there is little to commend the place. The members..men of a certain age have a camp aire about them which of course is perfectly acceptable, they are pompous and unfriendly, and full of their own self importance. Women i understand are not permitted, however why a women would want to go into such a stuffy camp place, i cant imagine ..they seem to not welcome new members, the intent obviously is to close the club and divide its assets namely the building amongst each other....hence you will not be invited to join.
