Lovely lady with the blonde buzz cut behind the bar, very friendly and professional. Made us laugh. Would recommend a visit.

Waited almost 40 mins to be served. Wouldn’t have minded but when the food eventually arrived, every meal was stone cold and very dry. Extremely over priced for the quality of food and service provided. Felt like we were eating yesterdays leftovers.

Lady being the bar with very short hair dyed blonde and glasses absolutely made our visit, best pint of Guinness in Bristol. Can’t recommend her highly enough !. Very friendly and we both will be back !!!

Really enjoyable meal at the Brassmill. Lots of choice on the menu. I had the aubergine gratin which was delicious. Our server, Hannah, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be returning!

I have come here a few times before on this occasion our waiter who I've not seen before, Allen, was very attentive and a great comedian. Thanks Allen, your presence was much appreciated and your service was brilliant. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We came to the brassmill for a dinner and let’s just say this was the best meal out in a very long time. Alan, our waiter, was absolutely amazing and very attentive. He was sure to make sure we were happy with everything we ordered and gave us fabulous customer service. Our food was exquisite and really hit the spot. I had the lamb shank which was super tender and delicious and my partner had the salmon fish cakes which were packed full of flavour and gorgeous. Overall, an absolutely amazing and heavily recommend this place!

Great staff, the bar man was particularly good and very helpful, very funny and happy.

The food recently has become bad. Lamb shank felt slightly dry and bland, puddings tasted microwaved, but the starters were good. Other members of my tables had burgers and described them as twangy. New menu = new ways to increase margins with cheaper ingredients? The prices would be warranted if the food didn't taste suddenly like spoons quality. Really sad. Staff were lovely though!!

While it’s in a nice setting and a cosy looking place, they were out of all pies and almost all veggie options. The girl with the shaved head who served us was rude, like she couldn’t care less, and walked out halfway through taking our order. Felt like we weren’t welcome and had very few options to choose from. I’d suggest the Lock Keepers nearby for a better experience.

Had a really nice evening with my friends just catching up. The service provided by both Alan and Hannah was exceptional, completely made us feel at ease checking in with us regularly and creating a good atmosphere. Although there were a few items not available on the menu, partly due to being a victim of their own success and having a lot of customers during the week, we were still able to choose dishes that we all enjoyed. The presentation of the food not only looked good but also tasted really great as well. We spent a couple of hours having a really pleasant evening and in very nice surroundings. Thank you all for a brilliant evening!

Food came out quickly..Third of the plate empty so was waiting for potatoes etc and then found three tiny ones under the Turkey!! Broccoli too hard to eat..I think I had a tea spoon of cabbage ?.a tiny parsnip and soggy carrot. hubby's beef mostly fat at least 30% so couldn't eat it We hadn't been here for a year as last time in the summer meal was not the best but thought give it another go .. Won't be back as compared to other places it's not great value. Such a shame as staff lovely and pub is so nice and cosy On the plus side the waitress was lovely .

We had a fantastic meal and quality wine, served by friendly team members. That's the reason why we keep coming back. We have never had a bad meal here

Good service, lovely food, and pleasant surroundings. ( Spoilt only by waitress spilling the contents of the main meal in somebody’s lap. We felt sorry for the young girl who was obviously embarrassed and some apologies were forthcoming. The meal was replaced rapidly, however we thought that an offer of some recompense might have been forthcoming but it did not materialise. ) We would however return again.

Came in for lunch on a Sunday. Car park is a bit small for the size of the pub, but not too bad. Service was good and the staff friendly, reasonable selection of drinks available and the food was served quickly. The Sunday roast was a good sized portion and the veg was tasty, the meat was a little dry but not too bad. Seems a good place if you have a reasonably large group as they have quite a lot of large tables.

The food was wonderful, I had a nice dinner experience in this cosy place, lovely service as well by one of their waiters, Alan. The potion was bigger than I thought, even though it was just two fishcakes it filled me up, but I enjoyed it anyway.

Lovely waitress Leanne made this an enjoyable visit. Seats in the bar area are much cosier than the barn at the end. Fish and chips was very nice.

Had an exceptional meal today. My waitress Leanne was very attentive and was a very lovely person. Also I was particularly fussy and I was completely accommodated with no issue. I have been here a few times but this highlights really why I continue to come back.

We had a very pleasant experience at the Brass mill this evening nice food and Leanne was very helpful and pleasant towards customers.

Very disappointed haven’t been for a while. We were shown to the furthest table in an empty dining area. Food below standard. Lamb shank was ok but had minimal gravy. One roasted carrot cut in half lengthwise the same with a thick stemmed broccoli floret. Mash completely hidden underneath was tasteless. My grandson left half of his burger and the mayo he was given in a small pot had a skin on top and wouldn’t tip out. Young girl serving looked scared stiff and the other lady although efficient and pleasant looked out of place front of house. No atmosphere and our table looked out onto a stagnant pond full of weed. The only highlight was the man that came to our table can’t remember what for but he was a delightful friendly member of staff from South Africa

The food was promptly delivered to our table of 3 covers. This was especially good due to our server - Abbie - making us aware that they were one member of staff short. Abbie also alerted us of the 50% of the main meals when using the promotion in the Vintage Pub app - this promotion has expired since our visit on Thursday 23rd January, 2025.

Always good food, service and atmosphere. Been going here 4 years and never had a bad experience. We always have our main Christmas dinner on Christmas eve, superb!

It was a nice pub, big, but also kind of small with its seating arrangements allowing for some private space. Not a huge selection of beer, but what they had was fine. It's a convenient place to meet up with friends.

Came today 5 of us for friends Xmas get together ❤️ staff were amazing food amazing. Our waitress had very short blonde hair she was lovely very helpful hard working . I use to be a manager for Mitchell butler . I would have been happy to have any of your team working for me. Will definitely be back soon

We had a wonderful late lunch at the Brass Mill in Keynsham today, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The food was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked steak, creamy mashed potatoes, fresh greens, and vibrant cherry tomatoes that were bursting with flavor. The presentation of the dishes was stunning and showed great attention to detail. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right for us. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall experience here. We’re already looking forward to our next visit – it’s a gem of a place! Highly recommend for anyone looking for fantastic food and a cozy dining experience.

5 of us ate here as a family and had a great experience. The burgers and steaks were delicious and the service from the staff was excellent. We have eaten here many times and always had a good experience, I would also recommend the Sunday roast!

25 minutes for drink order, 1 hour for food (Saturday Night) Burger was okay. Lamb was great, but not sure about the £25 price tag! Kids burger was atrocious. All the peas were old and different colours, bread was dry. Naff describes it quite well. Lovely looking building, great Christmas decorations.

Very poor on all aspects,booked table in Restaurant expecting table service but the only bit of table service we had was half hour after being sat the rest of time had to go to bar etc. We had to wait a good 45 mins for our food which was concerning ss the majority of the pub was empty to then get food which was well over cooked, majority of our order had issues.....pan roast lamb well over cooked supposed to be served medium more well done. Mac & cheese burnt to dish. No table service after first drinks & main course, had to go to bar to order further drinks etc, no check back done on meals which seems very poor as lots of staff wandering around but no one seemed to know what they were doing...

Generally ok - a chain pub, but not quite as good as others in the same chain. No table service here unlike The Globe. The seats we were initially given were in an area of the pub that was cold and isolated (table 42 - we moved before the meal arrived). The staff were pleasant enough and helpful. We had an issue with one of the meals and they dealt with that without argument and satisfactorily.

My roast beef was tough (2 out of my 3 pieces were ends) and larger roast potatoes were undercooked for my liking but the rest was lovely. Natalie went above and beyond, she was so polite and helpful, she couldn't have done more for us, thank you.
