A lovely evening and we all throughly enjoyed our meals. The staff are friendly and really helpful. A great evening with great food and great company.

Lovely atmosphere, sat outside, Fish took over 40 minutes to come out whereas my friend got his order after 5 minutes, service seemed miserable.

We ordered from the set menu which was priced very reasonably. Alex who served us was very friendly and helpful. The food arrived in good time, was as described and was very tasty. We would come again.

Went for a Sunday roast but was dissapointed. I ordered the lamb rump but when it arrived it was barely warm. I asked the waitress to heat it up which she did but this resulted in my lamb being chewy. Such a shame because the setting, portion size and selection of items included were good.. I didn't find the staff very attentive either. I probably won't return again.

Called in for lunch. Chose from the set menu. Calamari starter and steak frites main. Both courses for £16. The food was brilliant, the service was brilliant, 5 out of 5!

Arrived @ 6:30 to be told "we have no roasts" not a word of apology! Not really a great surprise because 2 weeks earlier you had hardy anything on the menu 2 choose from & yup starter & puddings that we chose ! Oh we not got any !!!! Ridiculous

Arrived 30 minutes early and was accommodated a table. I had a lovely turkey roast dinner, it came out within 15 minutes - Abby was our waitress and was nice and friendly

Josh is the compere of a fab quiz, which we attend (nearly) every Monday. Everyone in the team is lovely, the cider is good, and when we've eaten there, it's always a good quality. I'd highly recommend it 👍🏻

Came for the awesome Josh's pub quiz with the lads. Was served by the amazing Hannah and Marie. I was late from work so had some food as well. Had a giggle with Alex along the way too. Definitely my favourite place to have a drink and a laugh.

Absolute gem of a place, my daughter took us for father's day, and it was a fab pub/restaurant. We all had roasts, which stood about 4 inches off the plate! Really tasty, and plenty of it, staff v. attentive, and still reasonable priced. Thoroughly recommended, hope to go again sometime.

Came for Sunday lunch and it just wasn't very good. the beef was so overcooked it was like shoe leather, the pork was ok but the crackling wasn't at all crispy. Veg was ok and a decent amount but the gravy was thin and watery. Just overall not good enough to warrant a return visit

We visited with family to celebrate my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. The venue was amazing and so welcoming, and the staff too were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was simply amazing and was delicious. Put all together, it helped create an amazing evening for 2 very special people. Thank you so much for helping make this such a memorable experience for the family. We would highly recommend

Friends birthday and as we live in different parts of Bristol the location was good. As it was a Thursday evening the restaurant was not full, and were welcomed by the staff. Friendly, and service was quick and food was good. We all wanted a traditional meal so had Fish & Chips. This went down without touching the sides including the batter.

Brassmill is very lucky to get one star from me. I’m gluten free and I was contaminated when I order a GF dinner. I told the waitress of my allergy. I am still waiting from the manager of a follow up report. I wouldn’t eat there again. And after speaking with the manager it sounds like the failure came from the kitchen.

6 of us went for our regular retirement lunch, 3rd time here Food and Service Excellent. Pity about manager who never speaks, just ignorant, however will not stop us coming

We came here on a Friday lunch time and ordered the gammon with triple cooked chips, it was absolutely delicious and Maria our waitress was fantastic and friendly.

The set lunch menu was good value for Money, and service was good.

We came with a special discount, however when we paid, we didn't check the bill and paid with a gift card. This ended up a tragedy, the manager did nothing to help but left us alone as unhappy customers. Otherwise, it could be a great meal.

Easy going and friendly staff. Food always of a good standard. Went there last night and how things have changed. Extremely poor customer service and the one course we eventually had was cold. Will not be returning.

I tried looking at the menus online in regards to allergens. They were confusing and unhelpful. Not very good if you have allergens

Never had a bad experience in the restaurant. It's also excellent for a light sandwich lunch after walking in the park and along the river. Despite the muddy boots and paws the place is very clean too.

Excellent meal and service. Took family for lunch to celebrate my wife,s 81st birthday. Meal made even more special by our server Alfie who made sure my wife had everything to make her meal special. This attention to service and quality of food is why we return here regularly.
