A return visit after a few months away and it’s just as great as before. Friendly service and lovely atmosphere created by Maria and Lorenzo. Highly recommend the pork belly and garlic prawns - but all of the dishes were good and the aioli, which came with the bread divine.
What a wonderful place. Great food in a really cosy atmosphere with excellent staff all round. We would recommend this restaurant most highly for all those visiting Bath. If you look inside you may think it is full but it has two floors of great experience and well worth a visit.

We went for dinner and ordered honey and thyme camembert, beef, pork cheek, chicken leg and aubergine with Madeline's and macaroons for dessert. Our favourite must-have dishes were the camembert and Madeline's. Each dish was delicious although the macaroons were nothing special. The service was very attentive and informative about the dishes with good champagne pairings. Highly recommend this restaurant, it is not cheap but we thought it was worth the price.
A menudo visitamos Walcot House y tenemos una comida encantadora, hoy no fue la excepción. Servicio amable, excelente comida y vino delicioso. Nuestro restaurante favorito en Bath.

Stayed here back in October and it was exactly what we wanted. The building is charming both outside and inside, rooms and bathroom are very small but it didn’t take away from the experience. It’s a great location, and the walk to get to the city center is lovely. We couldn’t have pictured a better stay for our first time in Bath.
Went here with my girlfriend to celebrate a birthday and had the most delicious meal. Fish soup, ragu, and pavlova – all of it stunning. Staff were friendly and service was smooth. Cannot wait to dine at their new pizza restaurant!
Sat outside this Mokoko in Dorchester Street. Tables were dirty, cigarette ends all over the floor, tables not cleared - horrible - coffee on the other hand - lovely
I visit Picnic Coffee every week for the delicious coffee and lemon drizzle cake. However, the staff just bring my order to the table and walk away without a word or a glance at me. Where are the staff other reviewers praise so highly?
No.15, a boutique Guest House and restaurant and, first stop, cocktails with it’s weird and wonderful bar fashioned in scalloped leather scales to resemble exotic fish. Pretty cool place. I have a penchant for lighting and music which, combined, can either create or kill the perfect ambience in equal measure. The backdrop beats were on point, but the lighting was too severe for my liking. Nonetheless I downed an excellent Negroni before we were escorted downstairs to the small (36 covers) convivial restaurant. Like the bar the restaurant has plenty of attention-grabbing details including the vast array of eclectic portraits lining the walls and other odd arts and objects. The menu is welcomingly short with just half a dozen choices for each course which, in turn, gives the Diner assurance that the chef is confident in their ability to nail each one by applying the less is more mantra. For the most part we were served with memorable and seriously good cookery. Focussing on all that was great, I started with Bath chaps (pigs’ cheek) served with smoked bacon, pear relish and endive and followed with duck breast, swede and duck leg boulangère potato with a peppercorn jus. We shared honey roasted root vegetables. All excellent and surprisingly good portions. She kicked-off with ricotta and sage gnocchi which she declared was magnificent and followed with 30-day aged ribeye steak with a port and stilton sauce, roast mushroom and chips. Finally, we two-spooned a sticky toffee pudding in a Bath ale toffee sauce with honeycomb ice cream.
Was this culinary perfection ? Well not quite with just a couple of small niggles. The pre-starter bread may have come from the legendary Bertinet Bakery, but it was, in all honesty, bland and served with butter. A personal thing but I prefer an extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic dip. The chips had an odd spry crisp’n dry after taste.
The bill came in at a reasonable £132 (including 10% service).

Service was amazing (Kim especially) came one night for drinks and came back again the next for dinner because we loved it so much. Amazing food and service and a great cozy vibe.
Rose Cottage is a great community cafe ran by amazing volunteers and lead by the charismatic and Friendly Nathan!
We ordered the breakfast and Nathan not only brought it out with a big smile but he did an amazing dance routine whilst serving us, it was like having Fred Astaire right at our table! Then the rest of the Kitchen staff joined him and sang us a medley of songs from Joseph and the techni colour dream coat, they were so good it was like being in the west end. The Hot chocolate was served with so much cream it looks liked a creamy volcano. We are pretty sure Lewis Capaldi was on the table opposite us as well.
