We thoroughly enjoyed a mix of starters and the mains recommended by the house.

It’s was my friends invited me there for the first time on my birthday meal 😂 everything just went very well 👌. Had a lovely meal and drinks. Thank you 🙏 for the birthday song 🎵 🎶 and candle ❤️.

What an excellent start to our stay in Bath. We found this on the Internet and booked we came and delighted that we did. The service was exceptional. The food delightful and nothing fazed them dietary requirement wise. Super Taziki and mixed grill kebab. Thanks to all the team there for a superb night.

Surprise Birthday treat meeting friends. We were slightly late but that didn't phase them even though it was very busy, a lovely welcome. The service was spot on, again, especially as they were busy, we never had to wait too long for anything and there was always someone around if we needed them. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere as well, you could tell people were enjoying themselves. The food was superb. Set menu was a great choice by my friends, others shared a cold meze starter - all full of flavour. The lamb shank was excellent and my chicken Shish was perfect. Of course, Baklava and coffee to finish. In fact, everything was perfect and I would highly recommend Cappadocia, it is very central, by Pultney Weir / Parade Gardens, so ideal for visitors and locals alike.

Pricey, but delicious Turkish food

Such fabulous food especially for the price point. Found the menu a hard choice so we went for the Cappa four courses (a little bit of everything). And chose the mutancana for mains. Everything was delicious - so much food. The mutancana was beyond. So impressed. Had a margarita which wasn't great - equally Maybe not the best of pairing choice. We were sat upstairs. The atmosphere wasn't anything amazing but the food was so so Good didn't care about anything else. Maybe downstairs would be better. I believe they have another restaurant in bristol. This is such a lovely location on pulteney bridge and seems classier vibes. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here. The staff were so wonderful and hospitable. The atmosphere was cosy and warm and service was impeccable. I cannot stress how good the food was. Everything from the complementary bread to the mains and cocktails tasted gorgeous. You can tell that the chefs put a lot of pride in their work and the pride the chefs have for their culture is reflected in every bite . I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. I will be back.

I recently visited this restaurant with my family, hoping to enjoy a lovely lunch together. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. From the moment we walked in, the welcoming was cold and uninviting — it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. The menu is extremely overpriced for what you get. The portions were small, and despite spending a lot, we left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. I’ve been to many other Turkish restaurants before, and none have been as underwhelming as this one. The quality of the food definitely did not match the high prices they charge. Overall, it was a very poor experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Turkish food or a pleasant dining atmosphere. Save your money and go elsewhere — there are far better options out there!

I’ve been here with my family while visiting Bath and we had dinner two evenings in a row as the food and service was excellent! We didn’t have a table booked, but the staff made it possible! Thank you everyone for your efforts, highly recommended!

We had our Easter lunch here, and despite the heavy rush, the staff went out of their way to save three seats for us. It was truly impressive how they managed to attend to everyone with such kindness and professionalism during peak hours. Great Turkish place! Excellent service - everything is fast, polite and high quality. The portions are generous and the sheesh was especially delicious - juicy and flavorful. The sauces were great too. They also serve complimentary bread, which is very nice. The tea and desserts are also very good. Definitely will definitely be back!

It was nice to see the Turkish Restaurant. The soup is twice as big as our portion. The food is delicious. I recommend.

We’ve been here a couple of times and the food is always amazing. The staff work efficiently and we had a nice meal. The restaurant was full and a little noise (and this was a Monday evening) so was grateful that the service was fast.

Such a great find in the centre of Bath. The restaurant was crazy busy but the team were super friendly and helpful with the menu. Delicious food all round and the Turkish Delight was divine, even more so when drenched in Amoretto!!

We ordered the mixed mezze for two and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating for my request for some hot vegetarian options. The whole experience was wonderful. Good served quickly, drinks brought to our table instantly. Happy, pleasant staff. Lovely table, clean facilities. I would definitely visit here again.

Beautiful setting, the staff were fantastic and the food was brilliant. I actually can't think of a bad thing to say. They acomadated a big group with two kids, yet the food was provided quickly without any issues. The food was well seasoned, cooked properly and even looked good.

The food was very average, it’s very expensive for what they served. The hummus doesn’t have any taste, the babaganoush was okay. I had so much better Mediterranean food in other restaurants. They were kind of rude, they served complementary Turkish delights but not to us.

First visit & quite disappointed. The food was not authentic Turkish food & of poor quality - very oily & overpriced. Extremely loud atmosphere. could not have a conversation with my husband. It’s safe to say we didn’t stay for dessert

Phenominal doesn't really do our experience of Cappadocia justice. All the staff were superb and as for the food, it was simply delicious. A word of warning, portion size is massive! The food is fresh, full of flavour, great quality meat and simply delicious.Our experience was clearly different to others who think portion sizes are small: This is absolutely not the case, they are massive. I hadn't mentioned on booking the restaurant that it was my husband's birthday but mentioned what a lovely time we had had, and then all of a sudden a happy birthday firework candle with Baklava came out. This is by far and away my most favourite place to eat in Bath. It's not cheap but the quality is on a completly different level and well worth it.

An incredible dining experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional; the staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed. To top it all off, we were treated to Turkish delights and amaretto on the house, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both amazing food and outstanding hospitality, but this restaurant does it effortlessly. Highly recommend!

One word: DELICIOUS!! All of it was delicious: bread, stew, grilled, turkish coffee, dessert. Wonderful service: polite, discreet with a smile. Will DEFINITELY go back to Cappadocia.

Gorgeous evening meal and lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed the 4 course set meal for 2 and wine. Delicious flavours, beautifully cooked and just a real treat for our first night in Bath.

Brilliant Turkish food with amazing mezze food and grilled meats. Had a great service as accidentally ate a starter and they gave it us free because it was a mix-up. Will be visiting again!

My husband and I dined here twice during our recent visit to Bath. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted by friendly, smiling staff. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy on our first visit, it was run perfectly on point. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The complimentary pittas, dips and olives were a nice added touch. The food was piping hot, thoroughly delicious and well presented. I'd like to thank all the staff for two enjoyable evenings, with special thanks to the young lady who waited upon us on both evenings (apologies for not getting her name)

Great Turkish restaurant. Very many dishes with lamb. The food is very tasty. Grilled chicken kebab is just super. We are the second time in this restaurant and will definitely visit it again. Of course we recommend this restaurant.

Great amount of food for the price! I had the lamb and it was just falling off the bone ❤️ My husband who is usually a picky eater really enjoyed the chicken shish, and the pita and dip they brought out.

One of the best Turkish restaurants I’ve dined at in the UK! The service was impeccable—attentive and welcoming—and the atmosphere was fantastic. The salad was fresh, generously portioned, and prepared to perfection. As for the moussaka, it was absolutely heavenly—how did they manage to get the potatoes at the base so perfectly cooked?! Do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t regret it!

Be warned - these portion sizes are not small by any means! The staff were great and really attentive, they catered really well for a large group however it was definitely a little expensive! Great food and portion sizes are huge!

Really average food for the price, some was lacking in flavour, very prompt service. It's being renovated downstairs at the moment, so upstairs only. Baklava was very greesy.

I Will Never Return I have dined at this restaurant multiple times, but after tonight, they have lost me and my husband as customers forever. Initially, they were ready to seat me, but as soon as they realized I was dining alone, they suddenly claimed to be "fully booked." It was obvious they didn’t want to give a table to a solo diner, prioritizing larger parties for more profit. This is not how you run a business—greedy and short-sighted. I won’t be returning.

The atmosphere of this restaurant was pleasant, and the presentation of the food was colorful and appealing. However, the taste was just okay, and the portion sizes didn’t seem to justify the prices. I found the menu to be overpriced—for example, £4 for a can of Fanta, £4 for an extra pita bread, and £14 for a dish of cold starter seemed unreasonable. In my opinion, the pricing was about 30% higher than what I would consider fair. It’s good to mention the traditional Turkish soup was absolutely delicious, and I only and highly recommend this one.

The sharing starter for two was great at the beginning. Had the mixed shish for main, perfectly cooked meat with a good portion of rice and salad to accompany this! The staff were really nice and attentive also!

The finest dine-in in Bath. The food arrived on time and tasted delish. The hospitality was spot-on, too, thanks to Eren.

Do NOT go here for Christmas dinner. We booked a month in advance to ensure a spot for the holiday and dramatically overpaid for a rather mediocre set-menu meal. We were charged almost $360 US for three people and there was nothing at all special about the dining experience. Overall we had a lovely 17-day visit to three different UK cities (including London), and this was the only restaurant where we genuinely felt ripped-off. I never post reviews like this but this place really stood out as disappointing.

My wife and I were in Bath for a few days for our wedding anniversary, and came to Cappadocia 2 nights in a row. We were served by Eren, who was lovely. The food was delicious, we got adana kofte and chicken shish. Highly recommend this restaurant for its food and service!

Our dinner last night was perfect. The food was wonderful, the prices were quite reasonable and the owner/staff made us feel like honored guests. Highly recommended!

Had a great meal at this restaurant last night. It was busy because of the festive season and it therefore had a lively atmosphere. Service was attentive, the Efes draft beer was great and the food was piping hot and delicious. Recommended.

This is a very good place and I would highly recommend. The menu has some excellent choices but not too many. The produce and seasonings were very good quality. The service was attentive but not intrusive and it was reasonably priced. There was a good vibe about the place and was an excellent choice.

Such an excellent meal here. The lamb chops were the juiciest and tastiest I have ever had and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The fresh, warm pitta bread was great and the chilli sauce exceptional. We will definitely coming back, especially for the reasonable prices and fresh food.

Outstanding food and great value

The best restaurant we visited on our trip to Bath - truly delicious food, buzzing lunchtime atmosphere and great service. If you only have time for one restaurant, go here. Starter: Highly recommend the Chefs Selection. Exceeded expectations and you really get a lots of variety (lots of dips, beef sausage, halloumi, vine leaves etc). The bread that comes with it was lovely. Main: One of the best lamb shanks I’ve ever eaten. Fell off the bone. Flavour was spot on. Accompanying rice was cooked excellently. We also shared the mixed grill which had lots of flavour. Star of this was the lamb kofta. If I had to find a critique the lamb shish was a little tough so would recommend the chicken. However overall was delighted with the meal. Dessert: Kazandibi was really different. If you like a tres leche cake then this is probably for you. Looks great and the boyfriend really liked it. Huge portion so great for sharing. Service: Every member of staff who served us was friendly and welcoming. Complimentary pistachio Turkish delight after the main was a lovely touch. All the little things: Good amount of tables with lots of space. The chairs are so comfy you won’t want to leave! Really enjoyed the crockery as well. The lamb shank was served in a dish with a great rim allowing you to cool parts of the meals (comes in a sauce which keeps it hot!!). Restaurant decoration is a little confusing but some beautiful murals on the wall - menus very nicely designed! Allergy: Very good and attentive with my allergy. Nut and soy allergy. Didn’t feel limited on food choice at all. No menu items have soy. Only 2 dishes have nuts.

The highlight of our first visit to Bath! We had a table with a lovely view of the Pulteney Bridge. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was tasty and we enjoyed the Turkish delight.

Such a warm, inviting, and delicious restaurant close to the Roman Baths! The moussaka was delicious, but the lamb sautee was one of the best lamb dishes I’ve had in ages. The service and hospitality was outstanding. We were too full for dessert, but appreciated the amaretto and Turkish delight as a sweet finish to a wonderful meal together.

The ambiance was inviting and authentic, with a cozy atmosphere that immediately transported us to Turkey. Beyond the food, the staff at Cappadocia truly made the evening special. Attentive without being intrusive, they were more than happy to guide us through the menu and ensure our experience was seamless. We finished with baklava and Turkish tea, a perfect end to a wonderful meal. We totally recommend this place, they make you feel like you’re home!

Great atmosphere. Food was prepared quickly and was really good. The staff were so attentive and friendly, offering complimentary dips and Almond shots (?) after our meal. When we went the restaurant was pretty packed but we were eating within 40 minutes of sitting down. Me and my partner really enjoyed our dinner here!

We ate here for my wife’s birthday as she had been wanting to visit for a while. Overall we enjoyed our evening, the food was good and the service was excellent. We did feel however it was a little overpriced for what is essentially a gourmet kebab. Not taking away from the fact that it was still very nice!
