The best restaurants in South East

Fantastic service, delicious food & great atmosphere. We booked last minute as a family, the restaurant was full but the staff made room for us last minute. My husband and two sons are Coeliac so require gluten free options, there are plenty!!! My eldest son had a T-bone steak which was cooked perfectly, my husband had chicken souvlaki which was delicious! Our youngest son is also autistic so has some sensory issues around sauces. Staff listened and were very accommodating, his meal came perfectly as we had asked for and nothing was too much trouble. He really enjoyed his chicken souvlaki with no sauces or dressings. The only criticism I have is that we were told the chips were gluten free and a bowl were brought to our table. A member of staff realised the mistake and quickly came to take them away and replaced with some sautéed potato’s. Our eldest son did eat a few of the chips before they realised their mistake but luckily he was not ill. This does not affect our view of this brilliant restaurant and we would come back again. We had a great time!

After so many meals allhave been fantastic. Sadly it's coming to an end our favourite food and bar are coming to an end. However brother and birthday sister had the most fantastic evening. We all wish you well from the matteys and Hendries enjoy 😉 have a rest. Keep in touch xx

Great pub and atmosphere, came to watch the football with mates and enjoyed it massively. Also great service from the lovely staff especially Charley!

We all really enjoyed the food. Four of us went and really good place to get a wide range of bits and share between mates. Plus, really good music !

Great steaks a lovely find within 5 minutes walk of Oxford railway station. Lovely relaxed ambience. They have specials nights and also have rooms

Service was ok, garden is big but lacks plants and that country pub feels to it. Massive TV screen was on with loads of locals shouting at horse racing

myself and my wife dined here for a cheeky lunch, we booked just in case. plenty of room today (28th Jan), but i think it could be busy in warmer months, so I recommend booking just in case. great views of the river medway with perfect view of the submarine moored just off the shore and the castle n cathedral in the distance. the food was great, no complaints from either of us. i had the chicken kebab skewers with rice followed by kentish gypsy tart. my wife had Haddock and chips followed by sticky toffee pudding. we will return for sure. highly recommend 👍

Went here for the first time since it changed hands and very pleased to say it was still very good. Great to sit outside and people watch as Worthing was very busy. the waiter with blonde hair was excellent. Had a breakfast and my only criticism is that the beans would be better as just normal beans. Definitely recommend this place for central Worthing.

Was here last Saturday for a friend's funeral wake. Lovely bar & food was very good. Will definitely visit here again if I'm in the area.

Reservado para el almuerzo en una reunión de sábado un amigo, ninguno de los dos somos locales, así que fuimos a algún lugar con buenas críticas cerca de la estación. Está en una carretera sin nada más aparte de las oficinas que se encuentran fácilmente desde la estación y se abre cuando se baja a un sótano espacioso y acogedor, pequeña zona de bar encantador también. El camarero estuvo atento sin ser intrusivo. Tuvimos entrantes y principales, absolutamente delicioso y bien presentado. Muy recomendable.

Lovely family Italian restaurant and cafe. Great food, extensive menu and friendly service. Clearly this is a deservedly popular restaurant with people coming some distance to eat there. Well worth visiting
