Has started selling graffiti products out the front of their bar from a market stall on sundays, leading to increased graffiti in the area. Did not respond to requests asking them to stop.
My favourite breakfast spot.
Food is delicious, coffee is great and the atmosphere is perfect.
Friendly staff and you even get the occasional donkey that comes to say hello.
My wife and I went with our 9 year old granddaughter. We ordered a 2 for 1 steak meal which was absolutely awful. A good 2/3 of the meat was fat and gristle making it inedible. A disgrace to serve food like this. We will never be going back there.
Visited as a party of 6 for Saturday lunch and it was the best Thai food I'd had in years, the quality and presentation were first class, as was the service and hospitality. Will definitely be visiting again.
We’ve been eating here regularly for over 20 years and have yet to find an Indian restaurant to rival it. The food is always fantastic. We’ve never had a bad meal. The service is outstanding. Can’t recommend the Mughal Emperor highly enough
Really nice pub to have a quick drink of an evening.
Finished up at the local football club, and on our walk back we popped in for a post match drink.
It wasn't that busy, but we got served almost instantly! The drinks were reasonably priced, and they had a good selection on both tap and in bottles.
Also nice to see the venue have a dart board, which also had darts provided by the pub. A lovely touch.
Overall, a really nice experience drinking in here and if I'm ever in the area again I would love to come back and enjoy it.
Busy so obviously popular but was disappointed (it had been recommended to us) - food was OK but nothing special. Service reasonable as they were busy -but bizarre to get a bowl of chips right at the end - with the rationale they cook everything freshly. All the other dishes came more or less together
Superb. Best fish I've ever eaten out. Beautiful plaice and skate both with samphire butter and excellent veg cooked al dente. Mackerel with fresh tomatoes was also a hit. Lovely, relaxed vibe with friendly and efficient service. We will be. Back!
It was when the satnav took a left turn off the A21 that things deteriorated rapidly. 6 miles of C roads (is there such a thing?) with potholes, gravel, unmaintained roads and opposing traffic that just didn’t care brought a light sweat on both riders. Relieved finally to find the Coast Guard café and a pleasant two hours within its serene atmosphere brought my blood pressure down to normal. Service was outstanding, food was good, and sourced locally and the view is fantastic. Although I initially thought the café expensive, actually it turns out to be good value when compared to other cafés. Well worth a revisit.
Me and my family love this pub. The staff are very friendly
They have a huge garden which is great for functions. The food is absolutely amazing, especially the Sunday roast dinners. It's run by a lovely, caring family. They make you very welcome, and they will do anything for you.
Definitely recommend this pub
