Rajput in Woking

First time we have ordered from Rajput. We always have chicken dansak so that is our yardstick. It was ok, but somehow the sauce was dark red, very unappealing to us. Also the prawn puri was almost tasteless. Sorry won't be going back.

Food was late and cold. On part of the order was wrong (vegetable samosas instead of meat samosas). Poppadums were now fresh and were chewy instead of crisp. Very poor value.

We pre ordered for new years eve and it came on time. Food was top. Notch again. This is now our go-to Indian Takeaway 😎

Great food as always. Delay was beyond their control due to roadworks. The complimentary onion Bhajis that were offered on Just Eat didn’t turn up

Food was nice but £5 for two tiny vegetable samosas (when actually ordering meat) was too much.

This evening Rajput has delivered a lovely family meal! My daughter loved the Mango Lassi. We are very happy and will not hesitate to order again from Rajput 😊!

Everything superb as always. We didn’t really enjoy the onion Bhajis. So probably won’t order those again. Not much taste to them and a bit bland and greasy. All other items outstanding and very tasty. Also piping hot.

This is a favourite of ours as the food is always delicious and delivered hot and on time.

Used to order food from Rajput years ago when my father was alive. Came back to this restaurant a couple of times since Covid and I have to say that flavour, quality and authenticity are spot on. Definitely going to keep ordering from this restaurant. A big thumbs up!

Atmosphere is good, staff is prompt. Food tasted ok. Naan was good but the side dish was a bit sweet which wasn't I was expecting. Quantity is decent though.

For a local Indian restaurant quite good quality food and service for a reasonable price. Very limited choice for vegans.

The staff are always welcoming and polite and the food is great. We normally collect take away and the restaurant is never packed. It's a perfect place for a quiet sit-in meal

We booked for 8.15 but we're asked to wait because of a large unexpected party. It is the second time this year that we've been inconvenienced at this restaurant. It's a good job the food is so good.

We sat in early on a Saturday and the food and service were fantastic. My daughter has a problem with dairy products and this was catered for admirably. We had a lovely night.

Classy atmosphere, attentive service. We had the sag paneer, almond chicken and can’t remember which prawns. A pretty good mix of flavours, though the sag paneer could have been a bit saltier… but I guess you could add it yourself. The dessert menu was really interesting, some of the items describing the vessels they came in. Turns out you can take the bowl home! We ordered the Leemu and it was really good. Would have given 5 stars if they had washed the bowl before wrapping it in packing paper and passing it to us. And if there hadn’t been a need to add salt to the sag paneer.

Great food Second week in a row that we order in advance but food 20 minutes late. Never been late before.

Staff, really lovely. Food, poor. Railway curry, tough, loaded with salt and the sauce very glupi. Toilets not clean, see picture of what u have to wash your hands with! Bad! Won't visit again!

This is my favourite Indian restaurant. The food is always fresh and piping hot. The lamb is so tender it falls apart and the taste explosion in your mouth of all the different flavours is why i order from here time and time again. Im very hard to please when it comes to food and the first time i tried the food here i was so impressed. The lamb sag is tender and moorish, the chicken tikka is so fresh and melts in your mouth, the sag panier wow. Highly recomend this restaurant /takeaway

We love Indian food and are decidedly fussy about where we eat…so feel very fortunate to have this restaurant local to us; the food is delicious, the staff are friendly and efficient…undoubtedly one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.

Ordered takeaway meal on line today. Easy to do and efficiently executed. Tried the new Metro Lamb Tava. Excellent chice and not over spicy. this dish is thoroughly recommended. Delivery was exactly on time and the meal was hot. Free poppadum came with the meal. The only minor fault was the mint sauce which was very watery and lacked taste but this did not spoil the excellence of the meal My score is 99%

Always a good meal here. Food quality and quantity is perfect. I did take a gamble and order something from the chef's menu this week and the lamb was tough, not what I was expecting though. I always order with these guys and never had a bad experience so will go back to what I know next time!

Food was very tasted. Naan bread was particularly good. Rice was a bit cold but it’s rice what can you do - I should have warmed the plate really

I know it’s New Year’s Eve but we preordered to avoid the rush. The salmon tikka is very expensive at £11.95 with 4 cubes of salmon and nothing else.. the mixed tikka grill was missing a naan bread and the poppadoms were missing - and it was cold! Thought we would try them out but won’t use them again. Very disappointed

Been going to the Rajput for 17 years - it is consistently the best Indian food in the UK I have ever had - and I have travelled all over the whole of the UK through work over these years. Lovely staff, great menu and top food every time.

I won’t go to this India (loosely used) as the food is slap dash and tastes nothing like food in India. It’s greasy, no flavour (to the real thing) and you might as well go to Asda for a curry as it will taste better. If you want good tasting authentic food head to an India in West Byfleet!

very good food no doubt..,but FOH staff is not worth enough.. i had very worst experience in my first time there ..,when i place order for collection ,every think accept but when i have been to collect my order its has been declined { there was table of 6 and table of 4 ,its seems Little busy but not )FOH guys not even responds to me.very disappointed.

Slow as hell service for takeaway. Over an hour wait!!! When it was finally ready the take away curry trays were not even full. We didn't order half size portions!!

Order took 2 hours to get to us instead of the 40mins displayed when we placed the order. Always great food but disappointing that there was no discount / goodwill offered considering the huge delay especially as we are regular customers.

The food was nice but it was an hour late. We called twice to check where it was. They said they were very busy but we suspect they forgot the order as by time it arrived it had been almost 2 hours since we ordered it.

I visit this restaurant regularly and the food is consistently good. We always get a warm welcome and last night we were served some complimentary Onion bhajis which were delicious

Visiting from Devon, every time I come to visit my sister we have a raj put takeaway, tonight we visited The restaurant with friends fabulous meal, complimentary Bajjiis, felt very safe and staff were amazing. highly recommend best curry in the area!!!!

Bit disappointed. Good reviews weren't matched by what I got. Lamb tasted dry and old and sauce lacked much interest. Paratha was thick and heavy.

Just had takeaway methi lamb and chicken madras to celebrate our 65th Wedding Anniversary. The food was excellent, delivery was on time and the price reasonable in direct contrast to a recent meal from another local Indian takeaway which was dreadful. Well done Rajput.!!

I went to the Rajpuy without a reservation looking for a table. They were full, fine. They said I could come back in an hour, ok. I returned in an hour and they did not give me a table even though someone was paying and just about to leave. And this was on a Wednesday mid week, wow. Food may be good but the waiter was rude sorry to say. He should have said just to leave and not come back which I would have been happily obliged to do (rather than make me waste an hour).

Food was very good, disappointed it was so late when we’d preordered for a specific time but overall was good.

Bread not as good as last time and rice was a bit wet but the curries were very good and the bhajis were nice as well.

Butter chicken wasn’t butter chicken. Rotis were good.

The food was really good. Collection time was about 40 minutes, which is well within normal timeframes for a Saturday night. Rajput has really clearly marked social distancing spaces in the restaurant. Perhaps they could put something like foam on the long bar door handle to minimise contact transmission.

Bhajis were missing from the order. Bread was very good, curries were generally tasty.

In these horrendous time's the fantastic guys at the rajput are kind enough to send out a takeaway despite the risks of coronavirus, the food was still amazing well done.

I have rated this purely a 4 because when I used this Indian for the first time last wk my poppadom was broken into lots of piece's, had it only been broken once or twice then it would of been a 5 star as understand these break easily. Their food DID NOT give us poisoning or dodgy stomach unlike alot of other Indians so will order from them again for def as the food is good 👍

Love this place as soon as you walk in you are made to feel really welcome. Seevice is good and the food is lovely
