This is my local Pub and the food is superb. Great atmosphere.

I was pleased to see the cafe open again after it was closed for my last visit to Brighton in July. Sad news about the previous owner. I had a lovely breakfast and the service was fab too. The music gave a very relaxing atmosphere. I came back again today and everything was as good as yesterday. I'm glad the cafe is back and I'm liking Hervé's signature he's added to the place. *************************** Visited again 6 months after my initial review and Hervé's is still as fab. Lovely quality breakfast. The bacon and toast are great quality which make a breakfast but love, love, love the mushrooms. The service is great too. Looking forward to July when I can visit again.

Had a delightful meal at Vardar last night with a friend. We received a friendly warm welcome on arrival from the business owner. Our waiter Charlie was really attentive and looked after us throughout the evening. The food was really tasty we had lamb shank for our main which was superb and well presented. Will definitely pay another visit. Would highly recommend.

Marvellous chippy ! Staff thoroughly pleasant and helpful - I ordered and paid, and asked for 20 mins so I could nip into the nearby pub🤭 When I returned, the lovely member of staff was just wrapping up my order, noticed me, and called me forward - no need to wait in line, really lovely friendly service - excellent quality and very generous portions ! Thank you!

Went to a wake and they put on an amazing spread of food

EDIT: I really appreciated the restaurant reaching out. Customer service is brilliant. I would like to return next time I’m in Margate so we can rectify the last experience. Thank you Cliffs. Really disappointed with the breakfast here having read the good reviews. It was one of the worst meals we’ve had in a while. The refried beans were awful, way too heavy on the balsamic, the bread also tasted stale. The crumpet slider was also bad. The crumpet itself was not toasted and cold and it went a bit to heavy on the horseradish cream. I would recommend other places nearby for breakfast over this unfortunately. On a plus side - the girls were lovely behind the counter.

Lovely landlady friendly welcoming best homemade roast very good size no complaints definitely one to go to for a good Sunday roast and a good pint

Fabulous food, fabulous people and an idyllic location. Worth diverting for or making a special journey. A superb all-round experience. Highly recommended. Book ahead as can be busy.
