The best restaurants in South East

Wonderful place, highly recommended!

First time and very pleased with the food and atmosphere. We went for a nice walk along the river and stopped for lunch. It was a really nice sunny day so book in advance as it gets really busy. We both had the Linguini allo scoglio (seafood Linguini) and it was just perfect...almost felt like being by the sea in Italy. Staff all helpful and nice location. Next time 🍕

A nice visit for a champagne tea and cakes deal, which came by way of a retirement gift. Staff were lovely. Food was good, but glad we didn’t pay for it as there was not a lot of it for £43 per person.

Service was very rude, food overpriced and portions very small, definitely not a place to repeat

The best fish and chips I've had in a long while, The staff are friendly and polite, and the food was amazing. Had to wait a short while as they were very busy but welll worth the wait. Can't wait till my next work trip to enjoy their fish and chips. A +++++

Always look forward to coming for a meal and drinks here ! Lovely ambience, nicely decorated, friendly staff and excellent tasty fresh and locally sourced food! We introduced our friends to eat here this evening and they were very impressed ! We all had the beer and cheese soup for starters with bread and butter, which is my personal favourite ! Risotto, pork belly and the chicken mains all went down well and the puddings, just perfect to finish off the evening ! Thank you See you again soon !

Visited while staying in Eastbourne, we had a very warm welcome on entering. The restaurant was modern and clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. The food was tasty and served in an appropriate time without being rushed. We enjoyed our meal and will be back when next in the area.

Food is always good. But constantly missing items when ordering. Nothing gets done about it also.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Ordered a full English which was lovely and like how the beans / mushrooms were in separate pots to add too meal ❤️ also ordered a burger and chips the burger was the best I've ever had !.. service was brilliant too and noithing was too much trouble.. very friendly ❤️ was great to find out they was supporting local businesses with produce too 😊

Así que mi esposa y yo fuimos aquí debido a las críticas de Tripadvisor. El café es muy bueno y mis esposas planas blancas también era muy bueno. Desafortunadamente mi macchiato no era un macchiato en absoluto, era más un mini latte. Un macchiato adecuado es una inyección simple o doble de café expreso con una pequeña cantidad de espuma de leche colocada encima del café con una cuchara. No debería haber leche vertida en el café en sí, así que un poco defraudado.

Very enjoyable meeting place. Even the most critical diner in the group was happy! Excellent food. Nothing too much trouble. Certainly will revisit.
