We wanted to dine out but it started to pour and nothing else was open. Ended up getting fish and chips from this great little place, and the owner very kindly arranged a taxi for us despite the fact that he had to ring a couple of different places. Went home to a delicious fish and chips dinner, cooked to perfection. Thank you!!!

On holiday found ideal chip shop and actually serve gluten free menu which was delicious 😋 .

Great food. Great staff. Took a walk with my children and dog along the seafront and stopped off here for a bite to eat. They even offered a free sausage for my dog. Will be returning.

The best fish & chips I've had in a very long time. Crispy batter, with those little crunchy bits on the edges that make your mouth and eyes water. And sitting on the beach stones on a clear day made it 6 starts.

Has vegan sausages which you can have deep fried.

We stopped by in walmer after visiting deal castle and my this chip shop ticked every box, a warm welcome with happy and smiling staff, very accommodating, reasonably priced and exceptionally nice food, highly recommended 😀

Baffled by the bad reviews... We were here this evening and it was honestly in the top 5 chippies I've ever been to. Food was great, service was quick and friendly. Yes, it isn't cheap but the food was absolutely worth the price. If you want cheap chips, go to maccies!

Was looking forward to having our fish and chips on our trip to the beach. We looked at the reviews and thought we couldn’t go wrong here. Unfortunately the food was awful, the chips were hard as was the batter on the fish and the fish was dry. Really not enjoyable at all and not very warm either. Disappointing when it cost us £30. Went to Brighton a few days later and the difference was huge and got what we expected from a good fish and chip shop and it was all freshly cooked.

We’ve been coming here often over the years, had fish and chips from here a couple of years ago and it wasn’t nice at all, chips were undercooked and I don’t know if they had changed the oil brand but the taste was awful. I came yesterday to try again, sadly the same, chips were pale and undercooked and my partners pies were stone cold.

Delicious fries and very good fish. But little difference between a medium and a large fish. I recommend one anyway 🐠😋

A bit average for British fish and chips. Chips more than a bit soggy and underdone. Haddock fish was nice. Scampi was disappointing. Fritter range interesting (Spam, Pea, Pineapple). Pies unremarkable/basic in plastic wrappers.

If there was 10 stars i would have given it actually wait ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ heres another five, was travelling from london, called up to enquire if they could cook the fish away from the oil where the meat is cooked at, because we are muslims, the young man said “yep ill make it HALAL and keep it ready, just let me know what time you’ll be here”, preordered and cooked maybe when i was 10mins away tasted amazingly fresh, so to was their service and catering.

We had cod and chips and scampi and chips here recently. Both were excellent. After a disappointing experience at the Sea View fish and chip shop a bit further along in Deal we decided to give this one in Walmer a go and were so pleased that we did. We will be back!

Fabulous fish and chip shop, open on Sunday, we sat on the tables outside to enjoy our lunch. As a mosaic artist the fish mosaic on the outside wall was fabulous to see too.

Very authentic fish and chips place that has a wide selection of grilled seafood including scampi etc. Was super fresh and tasty. Possible to take it to the beach as tartar and other sauces come in individual packages.

Went here today . The food was cooked fresh on order and was lovely ,batter was crispy chips were perfect cod was fantastic .also the curry sauce looked dark and a bit weird but tasted absolutely banging ,definately go here again . 15pound a head and cheap tho!

Such a lovely fish & chip shop. We were treated so kindly & my gluten free order was not a problem for them to cook. I'm not normally a fan of curry sauce despite coming from Wales but theirs was delicious. Couldn't stop eating it. Highly recommended. The gluten free fish was delicious, crispy & perfectly cooked. Plenty of other gluten free options on the menu too. Will be back again next time we're in Deal. Thank you.

We just had gluten free fish and chips + non brewed condiment ( perfect) at this chippie. They were all geared up for gluten free eating with a separate fryer which was brill. This was my wife’s first fish and chips at the sea side since she was diagnosed as gluten intolerant a year ago. She was delighted and is now stuffed well done! We’ll be back

Huge portions and great spot next to the beach. Fish was freshly cooked and so didn't mind a little wait. Staff were friendly and the food was good. Limited seating options so principally a takeaway option. Rating for the food only.

One the best fish and chips! We placed a big order on the phone for collection for 7 people. I am a coeliac so we let them know in advance + requested that my food was clearly labelled separately as GF. They were so accommodating and understanding. The food was ready in time and it was DELICIOUS, all of us loved it. The gluten free batter was perfect, not greasy or soggy at all! It was also so nice to see so many GF options on the menu, (and not just cod) so I was able to have my first ever battered sausage as a coeliac snd it did not disappoint! The curry sauce was *chefs kiss*. If I ever come back to Deal it will be a must again :)

We had a superb fish and chip supper here - the friendly chap at the counter, who told me it had been going through four generations, threw in a free portion of mushy peas and even a saveloy for our lurcher, who he saw lurking at the door. Proper.

Did not take my order properly...the man serving was too busy schmoozing another customer. He was really irritating. After a 10 min wait I was a food portion short. Female staff member did not look up or greet us until she proffered the card reader for payment. Way more expensive than other fish and chips in Deal / Walmer...scampi is £1 per piece. Food was ok, but not much more than average and average portions. I have lived in this area for years and first time I visited...mill hill was closed sadly as much better & cheaper. Would drive further afield next time. Went home and made an omelette to have with my chips.

A nice sea front location with nearby parking. Three personable members of staff serving some nice, freshly cooked fish and chips. £12 now for medium cod and chips though. The fish was a bit above average, the chips a smidge below.

Had the most incredible dinner last night from this gorgeous fish and chip shop. The staff were beyond helpful and happy serving as it got busier. The portion sizes were generous to say the least and my Mum was so impressed with the gluten free batter that she actually went in on our way back passed to thank them for what is the nicest fish and chips she has ever had. Cannot recommend enough.

Nice staff, food was very good. Just a little expensive. Eg very small bottle of mayo £3.00. Chips £3.00 4.00 or 5.00. I understand things have gone up but for a small amount of potato and cooked in oil its a bit too much. Only 1 of us had fish as it was so much money.

For the amount of time you have to wait and the price of the food , bairing in mind I was the only person in there the food is not that great and had to return an item because it made my partner physically ill, next time we shall be going somewhere else .

I can honestly say the best chips I have had in a long time! I didn't have cash and card machine wasn't working, but was able to pay via BACS once my app finally accepted the details. All staff were so helpful and patient while I tried to sort it after many failed attempts! Cannot recommend enough and we really did enjoy it all the more! We will be back! Thank you
