Great food (loving the £10 burgers on Monday) in a congenial atmosphere. A visit for dinner is highly recommended. A birthday treat was also offered which was very kind. Do visit if you are in the area.

Spur of the moment decision to have a meal out. The Coach were able to accommodate us without a reservation. Service was great - very attentive. Good was excellent as was the ambiance of the restaurant. Great value - highly recommended.

Lovely refurbished restaurant, good food and friendly helpful staff

Very nice visit for a drink with a friend. Staff were very nice and the coffee was lovely. Can't speak for the food as we didn't have any this time but do plan on returning some time. Only slight struggle was the doors were a bit tricky to manage while leading my blind friend but we managed.

Wow! This place was just fantastic. I drive past The Coach daily and have never ventured in. Last night, I went with my husband and some friends. The atmosphere was lovely and cosy. They have both restaurant and drinking areas for when you just want to have a drink. The menu was excellent, and there were lots of gluten-free options available. The food was presented well and was delicious. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. They had a good range of beers, spirits, and wines and were happy to put everything on a tab to pay at the end of the evening. We had 3 courses plus drinks and per person, averaged at £45 a head, so not too pricey either. Definitely somewhere I will be returning to. Just one point to remember, they are a cashless venue and only accept card transactions, which these days shouldn't be a problem.

Staff remembered me were kind friendly and effuctiant every thing was a great experience with. Gratitude I thank th front of house and the kitchen staff. I would recommend this place to my dearest friend.

It's such a lovely open space now that it's been refurbished. Excellent service and food. Outside space has been upgraded and looks great.

Really lovely modern, yet cozy, pub. Went went as a group of 5 with 1 child for Sunday roast. Food was very good, beef was cooked just right, and the White Chocolate pannacotta desert was amazing! Only thing some may not like is that the veg was all very al dente, not an issue for us as we like it like that, but some may not so much. Also has a really lovely play area and garden, which our 4 Yr old loved. Would highly recommend, thank you 😊

Never been before, but will be back. Absolutely lovely three course meal. Each course was put together so well. Delicious. Very friendly welcome and we also got a goodbye aswell.

We booked in advance as a large group (20 people) and the whole team was amazing the food was amazing, the ambience was lush and the garden is also very well maintained.

I didn't feel like the food was well thought out, and as a large group where several ordered the roast, we were given the veggies to share amongst us. The idea that you pay for your own dish and to them share the small portions appears to be an attempt to cut corners and grab the money. I also felt that as a vegetarian the options to accommodate were unsatisfactory. Three items two of which didn't fill my desire, leaving only the roast. Other restaurants that charge less per person have vegetarian options to their dishes so this experience certainly did not please. For that alone I won't be returning. Whilst the staff did accommodate our requests, the facilities to assist in baby care left a lot to be desired. Paid quite a large amount for the drinks also, which did not go down well at all, and at nearly £5 for a large water I left it as that.

This was our first visit since it’s opening. It was beautiful very high spec interior with spacious comfortable surroundings. There was a really nice feel about the place made better by the professional friendly staff. The food was lovely we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was amazing very attentive to our needs we couldn’t ask for more.

We had a lovely meal on Wednesday evening, it was a really nice atmosphere and we were looked after very well by Julia and Gemma. They are an asset to the restaurant, very welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. Their customer service is second to none and for this reason we will definitely be back!! Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful evening.

A nice pub with a good sized car park and a lovely garden with a children's play area. They only accept card payments which was a surprise. We planned to have the daily set menu. I had looked online and seen the sample menu at a good price and with tempting dishes. However sadly the current menu for that day did not appeal to either of us. It changes regularly so perhaps check in the morning of your visit to see what is on the menu. We ate from the main menu. I had the classic burger which was quite dry but ok. The chips were very good and the celeriac slaw delicious. My friend was underwhelmed with her platter and it was not what she expected. I do not think I have seen a smaller sliver of tart/quiche and wonder how they were able to slice it so thin, about one half inch at its widest point. A small, very small half slice of two types of bread with no butter. You cannot cut a half slice so I do not really understand why the whole slice was not served, trust me it certainly was really small. Nothing wrong with the quality of the food but the design of the platter needs to be rethought. The staff were friendly and welcoming and made a real effort to rectify my friend's disappointment.

Excellent very friendly staff, plus food was good. Gluten free options available. Large play area for kids. Will definitely be going again.

What an amazing place to eat and enjoy good company. Food was the best we've had. As a vegetarian I often find myself limited but not here. Would deffo recommend the veggie platter. The staff were very welcoming and the service was brilliant.

Visited today for Sunday roast. The food was plentiful and piping hot. Great selection of vegetables to accompany the pork and beef. Cooked to perfection. Amazing banana cheesecake. Great service as always from the front of house team. Well worth a visit.

On holiday with no knowledge of the area, we drove past the Coach and the neat and tidy look of the outside areas gave a good impression. And when we turned back and went in, the positive vibes continued. Great welcome, excellent service and well-cooked good food. Highly recommended.

Didn't enjoy our meal we also found it overpriced, portions are on the smaller side too for what we received not much choice on the menu no we wouldn't come here again.

Loverly grub, well worth a visit

The food and staff were lovely. The reason for my low rating was the fact I felt so ripped off when it came to the price. My family ordered from the 3 course for £20. The price was on top. I never noticed any other price. The waitress then asked would we like garlic butter with our steaks which we agreed as thought it was a free condiment. The steaks were only 6oz. When the bill arrived my family nearly had a heart attack as it was almost £100. I queried it and was shown the menu were it was written by the side of the steak and extra £6.50. Not even a £ sign just numbers so it didnt even stand out to me or my family. Id never have paid all that extra and would have just ordered off the main menu. We did have 2 cokes and 1 potion of onions rings too. What should have been around £75 turned out to be about £20 more expensive because certain hidden extras were bot made clear when ordering. I cant believe the butter that we thought was free was £5 ontop too. Im glad I only ordered water. We are a family on a budget holiday and fancied a lunch time me out. Ive been diagnosed with ADHD and was so upset leaving the put because I felt like what should have been lovely expensive turned out the complete opposite. We did pass all this on the the waitress. She was lovely but I felt I needed to do this review so others didnt fall into the same trap as my family and I did.

First time visit. Very good food, enjoyed every bit of it. Service was swift and polite. Prices are about right £51 for two people to eat including £7 tip not bad at all.

I made last minute lunch plans with my grandparents who have become regular faces at The Coach and we had the best time. My one year old ate her body weight in my stilton risotto and my grandparents said their ribs were the best they've ever had. So child friendly and relaxed that we didn't even realise we'd stayed for two and a half hours! It looked like a nice busy lunch for the team and the set menu was excellent value! We will definitely be back!

Was excited to try following good reviews and was totally underwhelmed. Beer was dreadful.portions were tiny and the prices too high. Sorry but that sums up my visit.

Great restaurant with a nice seating area outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious however the burger was a tad dry - could do with some relish. Olives were particularly nice. Overall a very good experience here.

The staff were nice but my meal was very disappointing. I had the loaded fries but it was very bland. Someone else had triple cooked chips that were rock hard and dry. It's a shame because they have done an amazing job inside. Maybe we were just unlucky. 6.20 for a cider is crazy though.

Excellent Sunday Lunch including the most impressive Yorkshires this side of Batley! Delicious food, beautifully cooked beef and selection of veg. Great choice of wines, including by the glass, and super service, what more can we say. Also lovely ambience and feels spacious. Highly recommend

Had a lovely evening tonight at the coach great food and lovely service

We popped in to The Coach on Saturday with family and enjoyed a very pleasant drink in the garden, which now has dedicated children's play area. Somehow the garden looks bigger than we remembered. There was a Bucket and Bean bag game too, which was a real hit as the bean bags were tiny and well suited to small hands. The buckets were harder to hit than you would imagine, and quite tricky to get all the bean bags in despite a couple of attempts. Well worth a go if you visit! Charming, attentive service and sunshine made for a memorable visit. I noticed that the pub no longer sells homemade preserves but the menu looked excellent. We still have a jar of the marmalade at home which has lasted for ages!

We’ve been here a few times before as we’re local but never for Sunday Lunch before. Glad we did as the offering was excellent. My wife had the chicken which was nice and moist, I had the beef which was perfectly pink. Accompanied by a generous selection of veg which was just right for us and there was no waste (my pet hate with the oversized portions !) Pudding was excellent too, good value for money and the girls serving were really prompt and polite. Top marks

The service here was really good, we were greeted nicely and the staff were all very kind. I do think the roast dinner was overpriced for what we received. The chicken was dry and is on the bone (this isn't stated on the menu) and the roast sirloin is only two thin slices. The potatoes are not crispy and slightly hard. The vegetables were cooked nicely, gravy was nice, and the desserts also looked lovely. I would return but wouldn't order the roast dinner again.

Came here as away from our hometown for a date night with the hubby. Been refurbished. Very nicely done. Clean. Toilets immaculate. Garden beautiful with a lovely play area foe the kids. Very quiet when we came....the girls were amazing and didn't hover over us as some tend to do when it's quiet. Food was absolutely amazing!!!! And the desserts ! Wow! Will 100% absolutely return. Very impressed.

The food is really over priced for what you get . The veg is mashed up carrots and mashed up cauliflower tiny potion of cabbage and broccoli which is enough for one. my chicken had loads of bones in think it was thigh . Wish I had read other reviews before going , they keep saying they listen to people’s views but it seems same complaint and no change, wont be going back .

A new refurbish of this place. The staff and Sunday lunch wonderful. The venue is very upsetting to a wheelchair customer in 2024. A twin ramp at the access, I could only be guided backwards it is very stressful and steep. I could not use the loo, as the access totally wrong. When are the architects going to use this or ask a disabled person. Deep gravel outside in the car park too.

The last time we came for a steak night the fillet I had was so tender and tasty......and tonight it didn't disappoint! They've put some sound absorbing panels on the ceilings which makes it far quieter to dine in, a real positive.

Overpriced and absolutely rubbish food. Nearly £17 for a dish of cool chips with nearly cold pulled pork on top with drizzle of sauce and teaspoon of slaw. Pork was so dried out was like chewing string

The atmosphere was very good and the food quality was excellent. We had the set meal being a main and sweet. But when the main meal arrived it was the size of a starter not what I expected to get for the price. To be honest I could have gone to Wetherspoons and not had the same quality but would have felt I had a meal and would have payed a quarter of the price

Mediocre over cooked food. Disappointing Sirloin steak heavily blackened on outside and very fatty. Roasts were all over cooked. Portions were ok and place is nice.

It was Mothers day so quite busy. Food was nice, though it wasn't piping hot. Had to return a couple of steaks as the meat quality wasn't very good, but there was no quibble and alternative was offered. Catering for vegans proved slightly problematic but again they dealt with it promptly.

the menue is very good, but the Fish and chips is the best I've ever has, full stop. Staff are friendly and happy, all is 5*****

We were staying in Worth and our host recommended this restaurant to us,its a five minute drive from our accommodation. We ordered lots of starters and sides rather than main courses and made room for dessert! very nice place,great atmosphere.

Just called in for a drink but the new menu looked so appetising we had to eat. We had skate and the curry following a shared camembert and a cheeky order of onion rings, my partner said they were the best onion rings he's had in ages. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Great range of drinks and the staff are simply lovely, attentive and accommodating. Definitely worth the visit

What a lovely little place. We haven't been here since it has changed owners, what a great job they have done. The staff were absolutely incredible, all very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Unfortunately we had an issue with one of our meals but this was sorted straight away. Big thank you especially to Polly who was incredible and extremely knowledge about the menu and the upcoming events too. We will definitely be returning when the new menu is out

Recently had a refresh and interior is very inviting. Staff and service very friendly. Stayed for a drink and some bar snacks and the food was amazing.

Very disappointed m. Have used this great pub for years. Had a table booked fir Mothers Day and my son, who is and adult but our relationship with him is poor, decided to call the pub and cancel the booking i had made for Mothers Day. It was booked in my name and my telephone number as the contact. To my dismay the pub actually cancelled my booking on my sons say so! Who does that? They didn’t question whether he had my permission to cancel and they didn’t call me to check! Simply took his word and cancelled my booking! When i questioned why they would do that I was told ‘well he knew the booking details’. Well yes if course he did, i sent them to him so he had time etc. then i was simply told ‘well they could re-instate by booking’. No apology. No interest in the fact they had cancelled a customers booking when someone who had nothing to do with the booking had called them! Very angry and disappointed so i told them not to bother. Who treats any customers let alone those ho have used their pub for years like that! So be very careful with your bookings here and check they haven’t cancelled yours!

Once again I had an amazing lunch here today with my friends, even our 9month old companion couldn’t get enough of the mackerel bruschetta. Delicious, great portions, attentive staff, friendly atmosphere. Gemma was superb at making us welcome. For 3 old friends catching up after a long time, the Coach experience made us realise that we need to do it more; and will quite probably do it there. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

Dined here tonight very last minute. Had two courses & the meal was fabulous. The Panna cotta was to die for. Staff were very friendly, atmosphere was cosy. Looking forward to the summer menus.

We had the 2 courses for £15 and just very good and tasty food! Good portion size for the price point and the staff we super friendly and helpful. The only thing I found strange was that this offer was new and it hadn’t been worked out on the computer yet. And yet the manager finished at 5pm? Seemed strange when a new offer started. The staff on shift were nothing but helpful with working out the bill, took there time to make sure it was right which was very efficient of them. Highly recommend!

This was an impromptu lets eat out moment, now where to go. Lets try the Coach and what a good call. Super friendly welcome, they found a nice table for us in a beautifully decorated dining area, loved the magnificent mirror over the fireplace. We started with a glass of Chapel Down fizz, very moreish whilst we chose from the menu. Its a well thought out offering that includes meat, fish, poultry, pie of the day and vegetarian. We had starters and mains each course well presented and lovely flavours. The bill £76 for 5 drinks, 2 starters, 2 mains. The ambience was great and the evening perfect, we will return. 😋😋

Lovely Sunday roast for adults & children! Service was friendly & very attentive. We absolutely loved the banana cheesecake. Kids enjoyed the drawing activity bags, quick service, tasty food and overall lovely dinner out.

Fantastic Sunday lunch. We had jackfruit and ale pie which was amazing. The roast came with all the trimmings. Go hungry as they don’t skimp on portions. Very good value. Will definitely go again.
