If you want Italian cooking away from the big boring chains, this is for you. Great, homely food in a unique 16th century building—and the best staff a mile around. Unapologetically personal decor, good wines, and fun vibes. Really good at accomodating for food allergies, too. My favourite Italian in the area. The staff are so friendly, and I always feel welcomed here. Gorgeous building: unique Tudor-style interior with lots of nooks and crannies. Good wine selection; the Montepulciano is a favourite. I have allergies to four major food groups (dairy, egg, nuts, shellfish), and every single time the staff at Don Beni have been excellent at accomodating for them. Highly recommended.

Bloody lovely. We had wings to start. Two had burgers. One had ribs and I had a steak. Two portions of brownie. They made custards which isn't on the menu. I had a cheesecake. Also made us Cocktails that weren't on the menu. Served by Sam and Bella. Sam was chatty but not intrusive. Both fitted in with our sense of humour. Both affable and welcoming. We will visit again. A perfect and memorable non-corporate place to stay in Eton/Windsor. I had an inexpensive small room on the 3rd floor, but it suited my needs and I lacked nothing. What makes it memorable -- beyond it being an ancient building with a lot of personality -- is the friendliness and assistance of staff and the free breakfast. Not just granola and fruit, but a complete, cook-to-order hot breakfast, including a full English breakfast with eggs any way you want them, sausages, ham/bacon, beans, stewed tomatoes and mushrooms. Upon my departure, the breakfast chef arranged for a taxi to take me to the airport. That was just a final touch in a wonderful 2-night stay.

We chose The George pub for my daughter’s baby shower yesterday as we had visited for a roast dinner previously and it was so delicious. Our event went so well and everyone loved the buffet food served in the Hop House event room by such attentive staff. Big thank you to Kam and her team for delivering a fantastic service and venue for the Baby Shower.

Found out this pub had live sports and as England were playing Finland ...needed a pub to watch it in. Decided on Henry V1...phoned them and asked if I could reserve a table...drinks only....absolutely no probs. When we arrived..we were so delighted we had the front of the pub reserved with what turned out in the end ...a private area and TV. Many thanks to the friendly staff

Poor service in the new cafe at Windsor Farm Shop, waiting 30mins + for Coffees and Hot Chocolate to come isn’t on. Staff seem disorganised and disorientated. Expected better considering the price.

Went in today for 4 burger meals honestly the food was terrible burgers over cooked with no taste fries with just the taste of old oil I was served by Ali and found him to be very money motivated made it very clear the small chilli tubs were 80p pointing at the menu Terrible customer service avoid Not halal

Apart from being extremely expensive, the food was appalling. £16.50 for a battered cod that was absolutely disgusting. Batter over cooked on the outside but not cooked in the middle. The fish appeared to be a mush rather than a fillet. Don’t waste your money

As a truck driver Iv visited some terrible places,this crown cafe in Windsor is the worst of the worst,25£ for 2 full English breakfast and a pot of tea,the food was under cooked,even the egg!never eat here!
