A friendly welcome and always very helpful. A nice place to meet and have a coffee and chat.

Bloody lovely. We had wings to start. Two had burgers. One had ribs and I had a steak. Two portions of brownie. They made custards which isn't on the menu. I had a cheesecake. Also made us Cocktails that weren't on the menu. Served by Sam and Bella. Sam was chatty but not intrusive. Both fitted in with our sense of humour. Both affable and welcoming. We will visit again. We stayed here just one night whilst visiting Windsor. It’s a lovely quirky old pub with lots of character and very friendly staff. There is a free car park behind the pub for guests and the breakfast was amazing.

Was great food and service. Think they need to do something with the front door, as waiters had to keep closing it as delivery people and guests kept leaving door wide open. Not nice in cold

I have always enjoyed an evening at the George, sadly I don't live locally or I would go there regularly. I had a free evening so thought I'd go over but when I got there tonight just after 9:00 it was closed. I normally get a taxi, luckily tonight I didn't need to otherwise it would have been nearly £20 down the drain. I checked the website and according to that it was open. I'm not happy

Found out this pub had live sports and as England were playing Finland ...needed a pub to watch it in. Decided on Henry V1...phoned them and asked if I could reserve a table...drinks only....absolutely no probs. When we arrived..we were so delighted we had the front of the pub reserved with what turned out in the end ...a private area and TV. Many thanks to the friendly staff

Great pub ,good food and friendly staff. Nice pub to end a busy day sightseeing. Even posted my daughters coat back to us in Essex.

We went on a Sunday for lunch, but unfortunately you can't get the breakfast menu all day like you used to. There is now a far more limited choice. In the end we had a cheese toastie priced at £9. That was all that was on the plate and we felt it was very overpriced. The staff seemed uninterested in serving us at the counter. Tables were left piled with plates and in the hour we were there we did not see a single table cleaned properly. This has always been a regular place to meet up with friends, but we will think long and hard before we return.

Went in today for 4 burger meals honestly the food was terrible burgers over cooked with no taste fries with just the taste of old oil I was served by Ali and found him to be very money motivated made it very clear the small chilli tubs were 80p pointing at the menu Terrible customer service avoid Not halal

Apart from being extremely expensive, the food was appalling. £16.50 for a battered cod that was absolutely disgusting. Batter over cooked on the outside but not cooked in the middle. The fish appeared to be a mush rather than a fillet. Don’t waste your money

As a truck driver Iv visited some terrible places,this crown cafe in Windsor is the worst of the worst,25£ for 2 full English breakfast and a pot of tea,the food was under cooked,even the egg!never eat here!
