The best restaurants in West Berkshire South East

Didn’t have time to shop and queue in M&S Food at Chieveley Services so grabbed a sausage roll just outside the entrance. Lovely pastry with plenty of tasty filling - will definitely make it one of my regular stops on the way to Southampton

Not your usual Statbucks! Staff greet you in such a warm and cheerful way, it does make your day. Special mention to Honey whose smile is contagious. Coffees are also spot on, made as you wished. Most Starbucks in London should learn from them!

Walking from Reading to Mortimer with the dog which took around 4 and a bit hours - asked local dog walkers where to go for something to eat which was dog friendly- they recommended the Mortimer Bistro. Excellent welcome - I had a coffee, the Turkish eggs and a shortbread millionaire - all were excellent.

The staff there are always so friendly and cant do enough for yoou. Lovely coffee too. Id recommend all

Its a greggs there pretty similar all over, i have had some cold chicken bakes before that should have been hot so make sure you check your order before you leave

Lovely festive lunch - lots of options, good value, delicious food, great service from friendly staff. Would highly recommend 👌 Log fire and lovely decorations, Christmas cracker included with the meal. Will definitely be going back

Absolutely spot on! We’ve stayed at 2 of the 3 venues they offer now and never have awe been disappointed. Upgraded room, lovely relaxing atmosphere and comfortable environment… really does feel like a home from home with a luxury touch. The food is superb and very good value and the team are lovely, warm and relaxed. We can’t wait to try the next venue and come back for another visit! Thanks for making our experience so wonderful and we recommend to everyone!! Nick & Bea

If I could I would give less stars. My ring is still on fire as I type. Not sure if I ate dog or cat. Ideal if you want to loose some weight fast.

Food was super ,the breakfast is all you can eat with all the favourites there to be had. Rooms were clean and very adequate ,super location close to lots of amenities. All in all great value for money.

Always good food at a reasonable price. Chinese as well as fish and chips.

£10.25 for 3 bites of breakfast… usually would expect a brunch menu to be fairly ‘healthy’ on portions. Nice vibes in here but seriously overpriced for what they are serving. It’s not even like these items are expensive to source etc.
