great pub and garden to relax in, good food and freindly staff. always a pleasure.

Gone downhill so much, the place is filthy. The outside is uninviting and unkept so I felt the inside would be a risk. I was not surprised to find it awful therefore decided to give eating a miss. Some mangey dog scratching and wandering around, sniffing it's nuts too in front of diners. Laid tables in the dining area sticky with liquid. Toilets need a deep clean and to top off my disgust a deer head mounted on the wall in the bar... Why!! A disgusting absolutely filthy rug on the floor by the unlit fire. Just gross and a massive disappointment, this once was a nice pub.

I cannot praise this restaurant enough worth booking ahead of time

We have recently moved into the area and 2 weeks ago we popped in and had the beer battered cod and a nice bottle of Chardonnay. Food and service were excellent so we decided to return this evening for the same but unfortunately the fish was tough due to being overcooked. Tough and stringy. I told the waitress as we were paying and she said, “ may have been a different chef”, however, if it is that inconsistent dependent on the chef on duty, we will not return. Shame but you can’t rely on the pot luck of which chef is on duty.

Travelled up from Eastbourne and most definitely worth the journey! Such a beautiful pub, welcoming staff and amazing service! Only popped in for drinks and a light snack but will definitely be coming again! Menu looks beautiful. Lovely beer garden right under the sun. Absolutely nothing to complain about it was absolutely stunning!!

Booked late for lunch today , very good table and very dog friendly , drinks good , Sunday roast beef very poor quality couldn't eat , says served rare which would have been perfect but unfortunately tough couldn't cut and sinew not removed very poor cut , £19 ? Did mention to waitress but just said sorry , 2 other main courses very good pork belly and chicken burger.

We loved it! This is a completely renovated hotel, warm welcome by beautiful staff, very good food, the nicest wine list and great location nest to Seven Sisters cliffs 😉

Went to the steak night with some reservations. £10 for a steak chips and salad. Surprisingly delicious, I have paid so much more for lesser meals. Well done the Ringles Cross

We enjoyed a delicious chicken pesto panini with a fresh salad and crispy chips, along with a vibrant halloumi salad that was bursting with flavor. The coffees were lovely—rich and perfectly brewed—and the coffee and chocolate cake was simply divine. The service was impressively quick, and everything was served with care. Highly recommend this gem for a delightful meal and warm atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again!

Stopped for a drink with family at lunch time & asked for a bowl if chips. Told it would be ages as they still had tables to serve. So we ordered the drinks & the chips but they would not take order for the chips. It did not look particularly busy. Asked how long ages was likely to be roughly but he just repeated ages. Found the person behind the bar quite rude. Certainly not great customer service.

We can walked in for lunch and were greeted by a friendly member of staff. We had a table by the fire and had amazing service from Lily. The food was lovely (fish and chips, chicken skewers). The whole place (incl toilets) is clean, the decor is welcoming and cosy. Would definitely return.

Lovely food, we had the vegan mezze. Staff were amazing, chef went out of her way to get us gluten free bread. Warm and inviting atmosphere

Two of us had a meal, I had a prawn puri to start,which was delicious 😋.. the wife had a chicken Shashlik, the chicken was superbly cooked! So tender & tasty . I had a king prawn chilli masala which had a nice kick to it 🌶️.. accompanied by a mushroom rice,peshwari naan , Bombay tata’s & a few large bottles of cobras 🍺… Great friendly helpful service too Definitely worth a visit

Food is hot.. delivery time was good.. would recommend

Food always amazing . The chicken to alway cook to a high stand . ( not dry or tough) I wouldn’t order from any else
