Great pub. Lovely staff and plenty of entertainment. Go more than 4 times a week . Manager goes out of his way to help . Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Disappointed coming at 8.10 on Sunday to be informed the kitchen shuts at 8 ,even though on the website it clearly states food till 9 , ...real shame as I struggle to find somewhere to eat after a long day on a Sunday and struggle to finish before 8

We came here every year when we visited Uckfield. The last years the pub seemed a bit run down but people were nice and food still good. We visited last week and the food was just not good. We ordered fish and chips and the fish was slimey and not well fried, is was quite inedible.We told this when asked if we enjoyed our food, it seemed they really took it well and tried to make up for it. We would get our money for the food back in our account, even got a receipt for that. But we are a week further now and no money has been transferred back to us. Disappointed for the second time. We are not coming back and will not recommend visiting the Station Pub. Sorry to say.

We eat at the Station Pub every year when we visit Uckfield. The last few years the pub was a little run down, but the people still are nice and the food was good. Up until this year, when we ordered a pint and the fish and chips. Very disappointing, the fish was slimey, not well fried and frankly inedible. We let them know and they took us serious , even promised to book the money for the food back in our account. Very good service we thought. But a week later, the money has not been returned and we are disappointed a second time. One place less to visit next year, and we would not recommend to eat here.

I’m a regular visitor of the station pub in Uckfield and never really think to review it but tonight we went to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. I couldn’t fault anything at all and they really helped us to enjoy a special night. I booked the table a few weeks ago and due to other commitments I have I had to change the time and size of table the day before the event, which they did with no problems. The staff were so friendly and made my daughter feel really at ease ordering her first legal drink. She loved that they asked for her ID even though they knew her age. Food came in a good time and each dish was delicious. I don’t think any of us left any food on our plate. Three of our party either hadn’t eaten there before or had only once a long time ago. They were very happy with their meals, plus it’s a good price. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and I would definitely have them in mind for our next family meal. Me and my other half came in and had snacks and drinks, the lighting at the wasn’t what I was after for my specific needs at the time as we were reading twilight together (new moon specifically unfortunately) the manager noticed so bought us over an extra light to cater for us, the food we ate was amazing and the servicing was amazing. 10/10 I wish I could rate higher, my other half said can’t wait to come back, the man with the glasses and ear holes

Never fails to disappoint. Service was on point as always.. food was delicious! Can’t fault anything. We’ll be back.

Very friendly staff. Efficient I however thought that £6.30 for a J20 and an appletiser was shocking price the garlic bread ordered was not good and the chips also well below standard.

I can't speak highly enough for this pub. It was ideal for our BH7 Hash running "club" where we meet up on Monday evenings, follow a set trail and return to the pub for a meal & decent beer/ale. The staff at the Station were friendly, helpful & obliging. Despite not knowing in advance just how many would be eating a meal on a Monday night the chef promptly provided delicious food for all who ordered & it was served by the cheerful girls. The beer was good too as were the prices. Thank you to all at the Station Inn for a great venue.

Great place. Lovely staff who were very helpful. Food was good quality and the Bramley apple and blackberry crumble pie was off the chain (excellent and good amount). Finished off with a lovely hot chocolate. Top marks!

I have come to this pub a few times and all I can say it the bar staff are the best and the mac & cheese is to die for. If I I’m on a night out or a nice meet up with my mates, this is the place I go.

We have been in many times before and deiced to pop in to watch the England vs South Africa rugby match and what can i say apart from the food was amazing will defiantly be going back to try the rest of the small plates soon. The staff were lovely and attentive and up for a chat when they weren't too busy. There was one member of the bar staff team ( I believe he was South African by the way he was cheering) is always happy to help and always makes us laugh. Its so nice to see the staff have a laugh and a joke with the customers. Will defiantly be coming in more often in the future

Amazing birthday dinner for my step daughter. Friendly staff, good food and good drink selection. Good amount of tv’s for the sport and a good dj on a Friday.Highly recommended

Only second visit, but NOTHING like our first. Ordered the two course senior option, and whilst the portion size was the small senior, as it was a Saturday, paid full price. Whilst the Bangers and mash, and the hunter's chicken was fair size, I have never seen such a small portion of fish. Two fish fingers would have contained more. See menu photo against actual. Will not be back.

Awesome time, love the staff and atmosphere! The band was enthusiastic and really enjoyed singing and dancing along.

We had the nachos which were absolutely loaded with soured cream, jalapeños, etc. We then both had the chicken pie: crisp crust, loads of filling and lovely fresh vegetables. The staff were all very friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

Another pleasant evening here. Bar staff were welcoming and friendly, it felt like catching up with family. Ate in tonight and thoroughly enjoyed the homemade lasagne and salad. They kindly swapped up the garlic bread for chips, thank you. Will be back soon.

Tried the Sunday roast and it was absolutely fantastic. The food came perfect and temperature was pin point. The meat was done properly. Complement to the guy with pink hair and he loves Jageabomb! The bar stuff are fantastic and they all were very friendly. We loved the place and it’s like our second home. The manager of the pub is very friendly too. Highly recommended for all. They also have lots of events all over the week like quiz nights, live DJ. Best place in town for a night out. Will be back soon again. My wife loved the gin Rubab and Cranberry with was made by Chanel. 😊😊

On my way back from the coast and needing a bite to eat so stopped at the Station Public house in Uckfield. Had our wedding reception at the station on Thursday. Staff went above and beyond for us and were amazing! Everyone commented on how lovely the reception was. Thank you for everything and making our day so special! Buffet food and the burger I ordered on arrival was spot on

I spend time there as my local. The staff are beautiful people and make all people very welcome. I have enjoyed my time there and they always lift you up when feeling a bit low xx

Had the steak pie, dismal. I suppose it's difficult to heat a pie quickly without the crust resembling a clay bowl. Service was great, I was asked if everything was okay, I declined to draw attention to my meal as my wife had eaten most of her meal, which was really good so didn't want to go through the process of complaining. My fault for not saying anything.

Visited a couple of times in the past month and pleasantly surprised. Good value for money, pint of Harvey's being extremely good value, but lager prices vary between cheap to wow. Could be a bit cleaner and neater in places. Had lunch here, a burger and it was okay but not exceptional, my friends chicken burger wasn't so good however.

Fab, friendly service by Beth and James. Food was hot and we didn't wait long. New additions to menu looked good although we had our favourites : katsina curry, hunters chicken, pie and burger. Friday night so had a bottle of prosecco as it was on offer!

I rang Station,as our plans changed last minute, to see if they would be able to fit 18 people in, in an hours time. They checked with the chef and he said yes, but the meals would come out table by table rather than all at once, this was not a problem. We were welcomed with open arms once we arrived. The young man on the bar came over and checked that everyone was happy with where we were sat. He then served all our drinks and took our orders, very efficiently. The food was served and was all very hot and tasty. There was not much of a gap between the tables being served, even though we were expecting one. The young man came and checked that all the meals were ok and everyone was happy, we were. We were all very happy with our meals and how quickly and efficiently we were served. Thank you for fitting us in at such short notice and for making us feel so welcome

Went in to use my Groupon voucher deal for burger and beer. They had a problem getting the voucher to work, not the staffs fault. Got it sorted in the end. This delayed my food order but when it came the Alabama burgers were so delicious that it was worth the wait. Nice and hot, well presented, great portion size. Hope to visit again

Came in for a few drinks with my mates, great place, staff always friendly and welcoming. Spoke to the helpful staff who told us of events coming up with lots of entertainment for the weekends with a comedy club that I definitely will be attending next month

How you can charge £16.49 for a mixed grill that is inedible absolutely disgusting the steak was like rubber sausage like floor sweepings I didn't get any further with my meal before getting a full refund and leaving. The only good bit was the service staff very helpful. But would not serve the food to my dog

I am deeply disappointed at Green King for sending second rate food to this pub . The staff are kind , friendly, helpful and good at what they do . So to have to face complaints from upset customers for something that is out of thier control is very poor management. Great place friendly staff good food live sports!

A genuinely lovely place to meet friends for a fun, chill night. Drinks are relatively cheap, with some good deals on the app. The food is great, but not mind-blowing. The burger is pretty decent.

We called into The Station for drinks before and after going to a restaurant. There was a busy but friendly atmosphere. The bar tender James was extremely welcoming and efficient. We will go back for dinner!

Held a 40th at the upstairs function room, it was awesome, food was awesome and everyone who came loved the staff and the food.
