The best restaurants in Waverley South East

This restaurant was a most pleasent surprise - l say this because the standard and choice of food is really very good indeed- we decided to try the roast on a Thursday- the helping was generous and the chef certainly knows how to produce a high standard - l enquired how on earth they managed to produce quantities of meals of such good value and according to Kate one of the managers- it is all down to their clever buyer!! The atmosphere was very relaxed and the volunteers most pleasent and eager to please.

We took our extended family to the Red Lion to celebrate my mum’s 90th birthday and couldn’t have chosen anywhere better. The staff were simply amazing - so accommodating and helpful. We had a toddler and a baby with us and so our party can’t have been the easiest table to serve. However the staff were outstanding; prompt and friendly and we even had some impromptu magic to end the meal! The food was delicious and plentiful. We had a variety of dishes from the menu and all were excellent. Thank you so much to the manager and the team for making our visit so enjoyable and memorable. My mum absolutely loved it.

Lovely little place for a romantic evening or a meal with family or friends. The setting is so quaint, and when inside, you can believe that you are in Italy nestled somewhere amongst the cobbled alleys. The service and food were excellent. I will definitely come here again.

What an amazing restaurant. From the hostess to the chef, what an incredible experience. We arrived and were greeted and seated. The chef came out and had a long chat explaining different meals. Fillet wasn't on the menu, but he cooked and smoked me up an amazing fillet on a bed of amazing veggies with douphinoise potatoes.Went for the mushroom and truffle sauce ( I'm selevating lol ) Definitely will be back.

Do not use this place we received an incorrect order which had items in which we are allergic to and spoke to the restaurant on the phone whilst ordering and assured us they would make the food correct when received it was all in correct and when we rung the shop they told us they would replace the items as an apology 1 hour later no food so called again only to have the owner of the shop start swearing at my partner down the phone and hurling abuse at her saying we’re rude for saying the items where made incorrect and our allergies are irrelevant we should just eat it and then told us never phone again and hung the phone up

Fancied an ice cream …the place was busy and friendly ….really nice atmosphere. The ice cream was good and thank god we only ordered one as they are big..!!

all food is cooked fresh so you wait a little longer - but that gives you a chance to catch up with family/friends! It is very close to the national trust - the devils punchbowl - why not stop here for a drink/cake/food rather than always go to the national trust cafe!? It's great to support local and you won't regret it. We go on a bike ride from Grayshott and stop here on our way home. My son loves a bacon sandwich and my daughter the all day breakfast - they were more than happy to accommodate personal tastes.

Ordered a chicken panini, it had no cheese inside it was just bland and super dry pretty disappointing to be honest first time there as well

Friendly efficient staff serving exceptional food

Had been on a long bike ride and had never been to Bramley, so googled a place to have a drink. The Coffee nest popped up so we headed there. Went in to order and was told it would be 5 or 10 min wait as they were busy - no problem we sat down outside. After 5 mins went back in to hear ‘what can I get you’ my wife went to answer and was told ‘sorry I’m still busy’ and then the lady proceeded to serve a woman who had come into the shop after us! Possibly a local / regular but not the way to run a small business, really felt unwelcome.

Caffe Piccolo is mine and my partners favourite place to dine, date nights, anniversaries , celebrations. it is perfect!! the service and staff are always so friendly and helpful and really add to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. the food is always perfect, we only ate last night & already want to eat it all over again. you want a romantic atmosphere ? a cosy atmosphere ? want to eat the best food in Farnham ? want the best service from an amazing team of passionate people? the answer to all these questions is quite simple...... go to Caffe Piccolo

Wednesday night is burger night! Not to be missed! Always a good pint to wash it down.

Lovely little pub, quirky, really friendly people. Staff great too.

Ice cream is nice, but the guy in the store was extremely rude and had no time for the customers. Other staff were helpful. Won't be back due to this.

Deliciously fresh items and made with full passion! It’s a pleasure to pass by before or after a train journey.
