The best restaurants serving Thai food in Waverley South East

Lovely small Thai restaurant serving great tasting food. I had the beef massaman curry and it was the nicest that I’ve had. My partner had the pad Thai and that was pretty tasty too. We will definitely return.

Lemongrass is my new favourite place to go for good freshly made Thai food. We visited the place on Thursday night and place was quite busy. We had a lovely starters , prawn toast and veg spring rolls followed by Sweet and sour chicken and Thai Green curry with chicken with egg rice which I had 3 times this week:) It’s great place to eat or simply just call on the way back from work and food will be waiting for your:) We will definitely come back to dine in:)

After busy week at work I have fancy Thai green chicken curry, unfortunately I was disappointed. When arrived home and open my meal it was very greasy with a little bit of chicken and full of bamboo shoots. Definitely not worth £13.00 not including rice. I won’t be coming back soon I’m afraid

This review is regarding the Thai food takeaway, not the in-house service or drinks. First of all, the menu online does not accurately reflect the true prices of the meals! They are about £2 more expensive than it says online. Second, they made a mistake and gave us the wrong starter that three of us had ordered. The calamari was not great. I can forgive a wrong starter if it wasn’t for the incorrect prices. Regarding my order, the Tamarind duck was nice enough but very watery. However, my family said the noodle dishes were very nice so a mixed bag overall, they just need to update their prices and get the order right.
