Superb lunch. The best Thai in Surrey.

My wife and I have visited Thai lotus land In the past but haven’t been there for some time. Last night we had a meal with two of our good friends and have to say how dissatisfied we were. We chose a mixed starter that had 50 % of the plate taken up with carved swede and carrot. The size of the individual starters can only be described as mean. The lamb Massaman was very thin and the potato and meat was absent without leave. Red Thai duck curry was much the same. The waitress was intent on filling our wine glasses in order to sell another bottle. And when the bill was presented was surprised to note 12 1/2 % gratuity was added. It would pay the owners to remember customer is king, and must not assume customer is naive and will not notice things. These customers will not be returning anytime soon and will be advising friends and family accordingly.

Amazing food! Authentic Thai with amazing service! All and all is very well done! Highly recommend place to have romantic dinner or with friends with asian hospitality, we will be back

I hadn't been here for years and was surprised at how smart the place looked. The food was excellent, we had a set meal for 4 people that included 4 different mains. It was beautifully presented and very tasty. Couldn't fault it tbh. The only reason it is not rated as 5 stars is that imho it was on the expensive side.

If I could give a ten star review for this restaurant I would. It is outstanding from the decor, staff, service and excellent food. We have lived and travelled extensively in Asia and we know authentic Asian food very well. The menu is varied and every dish is not only presented beautifully but it also tastes superb. We left very impressed and eager to return. I can’t recommend a visit highly enough!

A really mixed review I’m afraid. its been an excellent restaurant in terms of service, food and atmosphere when dining in but the lowered rating comes down to price in the takeaway x portion size. This may sound ridiculous, especially as we have chosen to order, knowing the amount - Where the issue lies is seeing the amount of food that was actually delivered. With the mixed starters, a rice to share and two main dishes (which weren’t even near the most expensive dishes at all), 75 pounds is embarrassing. We’ve ordered and visited the restaurant on occasions but maybe this was just a particularly disappointing order, either way, I can’t recommend this restaurant like I have previously, sorry guys!

Fabulous meal.. SO tasty, colourful & beautifully cooked and presented. Definitely recommend a visit. We had the set menu for two... Really worth it as you get to try four different mains.

My husband and I tried this restaurant tonight and it became our new favourite place to eat . We had a great experience dining here and we will come back for sure . The food was amazing and we liked the service very much as well .

If I could give 10 points I would give 10. We came on a Sunday. 4 of us. We booked just 30 mins in advance. The staff was already very friendly on the phone. We didn't know what to expect as it was our first time. We were super impressed since we walked in. Absolutely beautiful place. Attention to details. Neat. Clean. Smart. We were warmly welcomed and seated. We requested a change of table which was not an issue at all. The food arrived quite quickly and was superbly presented. The staff was attentative. The food was delicious. I live in the UK for 8 years and never really return to places more often but I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu. I hope the quality will remain. We will be back in May. Or sooner. I can only recommend.

Food tastes really good with a cheap price and service is really nice

First time visiting here and we were blown away by everything. The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated, the staff were incredibly polite, helpful and respectful. As for the food…..we actually have no words. What magic and sorcery goes on in the kitchen we have no idea but the presentation, the flavours and the artistry is second to none. We will definitely be back. Anyone who gives this place anything other than 5 stars is clearly deluded.

I got a take away and when I arrived they didn’t tell us to sit anywhere so we were just stood in the doorway in front of an entire restaurant, it was very uncomfortable we waited for our food for about 5/10 minutes and then went home. When I ate my food I found that the chicken was literally raw it was a texture as if It was thawed from the freezer and not cooked the food was also so bland and I have been to Thailand tens of times so I know what a dish should taste like. I literally had to throw up because I didn’t want to get salmonella. Be very aware of this when you next order.

What can you say ! The whole experience at the fine dinning establishment is great . The food is classic Thai . We always go for the set menu with Sea Bass Delicious Fabulous ! This restaurant is at the top of the tree . It is expensive but you get what you pay for cliche I know but very true . Ambience is super the staff fantastic in their traditional Thai clothing .

We visited at 5.15 on a Friday evening. The restaurant opens at 5. Food and service were lovely. What let down our experience was that the restaurant was so cold. As it had only just opened, the heating hadn't been on for long and it made our food go cold quite quickly so I would visit again but a lot later.

An extraordinarily EXPENSIVE place . Average standard food at outrageous prices !!!

I have just ordered from here via deliveroo based on the 4 and 5 star reviews. Speedy delivery of food. But, the salt and pepper squid starter is appalling. Completely flavourless, rubbery and soggy batter. The main course (seafood) doesn’t taste fresh which is a worry. The sauce is watery and insipid and the seafood is dull and again rubbery. I sincerely hope there are no health and safety issues with the cooking as I don’t feel confident of the freshness. Very disappointed and won’t be ordering again.

The food at this place is absolutely delicious and the service is exceptional. Really want to go back and have the vegetabme spring rolls again, they were amazing. It was very expensive but worth it for the quality of the food. They also catered for my garlic intolerance which is usually very difficult at a Thai restaurant.

We visited this Thai restaurant with a group of 6 friends, hoping for a nice dining experience to celebrate our engagement, but unfortunately, it turned into a complete disaster. Firstly we had to wait, standing in the doorway for 30 minutes past our reservation time to be seated.There was no apology or an offer for drinks during the wait. The restaurant moved an already seated table in order to seat us finally, however, the ordeal continued with a 1.5 hour wait for our main courses. It took them 30 mins from seating to take our order. No one offered us any water. To add insult to injury, the establishment charged us a total of £60 to open for 4 bottles of wine, one of which was non alcoholic and worth £4. Not only was this unreasonable, but the refusal to acknowledge the poor service with any reduction to at least the corkage fee was deeply disappointing. What was more appalling was the demeanor of the waitress when presenting the bill - a smirking attitude that displayed sheer indifference and disrespect towards us as customers with a bill of over £400. This experience was disheartening and reflective of an establishment that lacks basic customer service etiquette and fairness. I would strongly caution others against visiting this restaurant until significant improvements are made in their service standards and pricing policies.

Amended a dish based on a picture shown taken from our recent trip to Thailand. If you’re looking for traditional thai you should ask specifically and ask for it to be spicy Order pork Kaprow “Thai style” if you like it traditional (minced pork) style as we do. Some dishes have western twists which are great for some. Food was delicious. We were in Thailand a few weeks ago and was lovely to be around the food and culture again. We will definitely return. Staff were all fantastic.

The food from Lotusland was most excellent. Wanted to treat our host, my son and myself to a celebratory meal. After 53 years of living in Britain thought it deserved to be an occasion. The next day we had a wedding in London and felt two days of celebrations would just take too much 'out of my tank' so to speak. My friend suggested a take-away from Lotusland. Three starters, three mains and all delicious. Have to admit, if ever the chance arrives, I'll be looking at going into the restaurant for their dining experience. Food was Delicious. WARNING: This is not a cheap take-away. Quality costs.

Let me start by saying what a beautiful setting and the restaurant was incredibly clean and tidy, with a lovely ambiance. The food was exceptionally presented and very tasty, can recommend the sweet and sour duck. The staff were also attentive and nice to see them dressed in traditional Thai outfits. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

The best Thai food I ever had in the UK! It is also very clean. The service is good as well but it could have been a bit faster. Perhaps more staff is needed but overally a great experience. Highly recommended !

The restaurant looked very smart from the outside and was very well presented internally with Thai decor. The food was excellent and one of the best Thai restaurants in Surrey. Will definitely go back next time we are in Farnham.

The food was mainly really great. Absolutely delicious chicken massaman and coconut rice. Also had some stir fried veggies, sweetcorn cakes and prawn crackers...tasty but portion sizes in comparison to price was a bit off. Service was good but they were very busy so took ages for the bill. Would go back but only as a treat since it's really extremely expensive.

Had a lovely romantic meal here with my lovely wife Karen for her 60th birthday washed down with some really nice Thai wine . The staff were all friendly and helpful and would throughly recommend going here. We shall be returning ourselves soon for our 41st wedding anniversary 💕

Delicious Thai food, authentic and lovely staff.

This was our second visit in the space of a few months. The food is consistently very good as is the service. This visit I particularly enjoyed the Tom Yum Goong soup and the Yum Woon sen salad. The quality of the seafood was very good. Sure we will be back again soon!

Great Thai food, probably the best around.

This place seems to have lost its touch! Went at the weekend - stood by the door for too long waiting to be seen by a member of staff despite one setting tables in front of us. Sat down and then wait at least 10 minutes for anyone to take a drinks order. Food was good, but not as good as it used to be.

Prices are medium and there is plenty of seating. The snack platter was delicious. The curry I ordered had a lot of flavour. Lots of spicy and spiced dishes, you need to speak to the staff in advance if you can't eat spicy or have some things you are allergic to.

Went for the first time for a birthday. Atmosphere was good, busy but friendly. Food was very good and our waitress was great. Will definitely go again. Try the prawn toast!

The ambience is lovely. There are a few tables where you sit on the elevated floor which is quite nice. Food is not authentic and over priced. However, if you are after a nice quiet environment with a bit of class, it is the right place to be. I am more of a foody so giving 3 stars.

I have to share our experience of this great restaurant today. My daughter had booked a table for 6 of us for my birthday. We arrived late and although this meant they then ran late after lunch service, they were very accomodating. Setting was lovely. Staff very helpful. Food was absolutely spot on. We have eaten in many Thai restaurants and have had Thai private party catering so we know good quality. Agreed it is not the cheapest but was well with it for a special treat. The toilets were spotless which in my opinion is very important to see the standard of care taken. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this Thai restaurant.
