Update (July 2024) We are regulars and are delighted with their new matcha delight. We just got a tub and had it for dessert after dinner. The flavors of Uji Kyoto ended our day marvelously. Thank you, Delights Team! ----------------+- Ewen, Albert and his Godalming Delights team offer real delights to our lives. We have anniversaries in April (2020) and, although the early lockdown was already daunting, their ice-cream delivery services made our days special indeed. We usually tend to buy their ice cream in a big tub in two flavours in layers so we can continue to enjoy them at home. (They do sell their cones and buying in bulk is economical!) They have a good range of vegan selections; and their vegan ginger and orange chocolate slice - OMG a heavenly delight! PS (Summer 2021) We've just had their ice-cream milk shakes (mixture of two types of ice creams of one's choice). It was a delightful different experience recommended for the regulars!

The place looks good, but it's small, need queuing outside. Ice cream are fair portions and smooth, taste nice but certainly not delightful.

Flavours are nice but we got the smallest scoop of ice cream so not worth the cost

If you don’t visit you’re missing out! and honestly the friendliest place in Godalming the guys that run it always are a good laugh and there attention to detail is amazing you will keep going back!! Thanks guys!!😊

Best and most consistent coffee in town

Friendly service, great products, small business and did I mention exceptional service?? I will always head here for my coffee rather than the larger chains. So much better.

Godalming delights is amazing! The ice-cream is great and the pick 'n' mix is good too. The ice-cream is well priced (between £3-6 per cone) because it is worth it as it tastes so good :) the hot chocolates are good too and my friends who drink coffee say that it is great 👍 Also there are vegan, dairy free and gluten free options for ice cream and dog ice cream is available too 😋

Grabbed some pick and mix while on a small walk around Godalming. The staff were very polite and cost was reasonable.

Would not normally eat ice cream before lunch but was passing through early am and was there 1st ice cream customer of the day. The flavours are superb. I had cinnamon and a banana split one. They also sell my favourite Montezuma chocolates.

Exceptionally welcoming, helpful and friendly people running this delightful little place! We had the most amazing hot chocolates! I tried the ruby hot chocolate which was so so delicious I wish I lived closer, I’d be there all the time 😆. Both the man and the lady working that day were really sweet and helpful and very knowledgeable too. We’d highly recommend.. they made us feel more than welcome 🤗

Just has a pink chocolate drink, my son Max said it's the best chocolate drink he's ever had!!! Great as always.

Great Staff. Great coffee. Great ice cream, the best. Jolly nice sweets too. Look at the queues in summer: people are prepared to queue 7 deep: that says it all. And they’ve been fantastic with their Covid precautions. Highly recommended

Such a find! You know when you got those excited jitters going into a sweet shop when you were a kid? Deeeeeeelicious ice cream, tasty treats and an incredibly friendly and informative owner with such a casual and comfortable demeanorwhich really makes you want to stay and eat treats ALL DAY. The place is clean and inviting and will definitely be a necessary stop should we be in the area.

The quality is outstanding. If you love Illy coffee and the craft of fine highly accomplished barista's then this is for you. Ice creams delicious. I don't eat sweets but a grand array of favourites and no shortage of buyers. Worth travelling to Godalming for.

Excellent staff/service. Lovely waffles and great ice cream. If you think the queue looks a little too long, just give it a try. There's a very good reason its so popular, its fantastic.

Definitely worth a visit. £2.50 for one scoop of honeycomb ice cream which was so good.

Just the best ice cream shop in England. Try a Chocolate dipped honeycomb cone with scoops of Lemon Pie and White Chocolate. Pure delight.

A lovely little shop, clearly run with care and enthusiasm. My wife made me walk five miles to get an ice cream, we were only supposed to be going on a little stroll by the river, and being allergic to dairy (and exercise as it goes) I wasn’t sure about what selection I’d find. The vegan coconut and strawberry flavours were almost worth the hike – I’d still rather have driven though.

The two gents who run this place were very personable indeed, as well as being very well informed about their ice cream, (which was the best I've had in years). I opted for the Mint choc chip (refreshing beyond compare, and actually tasted of mint!) and the Dulce de leche (indulgent and rich without being cloying). I was encouraged to try other flavours to ensure I chose something I enjoyed. I only dared try those two, as I was afraid my greed would take over if I tried more. I will most definitely be back.

Every Saturday morning whilst I am in Godalming on the weekly food shop this delightful place is on the agenda. Three scoops of ice cream is ordered; any less is actually illegal. They also do sweets, which look lovely, however my attention is always firmly on the ice-cream - which is superb. I can recommend the dulce de leche, it's divine.

I love this shop! I have to wear blinkers when I walk in otherwise I’d buy the whole stock. I often pop in on my lunch break and I love their mocha, it’s so smooth and velvety. I am working through their various cookies, tried the breakfast one today and was not disappointed! The staff are fabulous and super friendly, I can not recommend highly enough.

Great ice creams. Lots of choice. I like that they let you try a few to help decide. They also do a Vegan flavour quite often for anyone that doesn't/can't have milk.

We’ve been going here fairly consistently since it opened and have never had a bad experience. The coffee is well priced and tastes amazing, especially in comparison to coffee chains so close by. Ice cream is great, be it served in a bowl, cone or on a waffle. Good sweet selection as well for pick and mix fans, with a sizeable proportion being vegetarian. One of Godalmings treasures and long may it last

A bright bone aching Ice frosted Godalming morn. Headed for Godalming Delights close to the Pepperpot. Worth the walk. A sea of sparkling colours; chocolate, sweets, Bon Bons and rich smooth lip licking coffee. A shop for ice cream, the very finest ice cream. A shop for the discerning of any age. Staff that know the products; understand flavours and quality in every respect. Takeaway refreshment or breakfast bar seating with thoughtful wraps to warm the steel seating. Attention to detail throughout. A true Godalming Delights if the senses.

Right now imho you can't get a better cup of coffee in godalming than here in Godalming delights; worth a trip. They also do great freezer tub sized ice cream you can take home.

This is an ice-cream and sweet shop. The ice-cream is absolutely fantastic. The sweets are old fashioned style jars plus a few lollies and expensive bars of chocolate. As much as the ice-cream is absolutely fabulous, absolutely avoid the coffee.

It’s pretty nice but the service can be shocking. During the school chaos we stood for a while waiting to be served by the pick and mix. Both servers were serving ice cream. I moved behind the till to maybe start a queue while they both shouted who’s next. I pointed to a girl in front of me who was being overlooked. Then the man looked at me and said - what’s wrong, you look stressed. Personally I’d have apologised for the delay maybe instead of making such an accusatory remark! I said I was waiting to be served and he launched into a lengthy and defensive spiel about there being a queue and they were making their way through it. Except they weren’t. They were shouting who’s next. I’m left perplexed by his frankly aggressive manner. In fairness every other time we’ve been in the servers have been lovely. I understand he was busy and stressed. I just don’t think he should be taking out his frustrations on customers especially when there are so many children around.

We popped into this new little shop and my 3 year old daughter was delighted by the lovely sweet shop experience. She excitedly placed her 50p coin on the counter and the young lady behind the tills helped her to choose enough sweets to spend her pocket money. It seems to be a special place and I'm sure we will be making many more visits. Thank you Godalming Delights :)

A fun, colourful new coffee shop next to The Pepperpot that serves a genuinely excellent cup of illy coffee. Alongside their coffee they sell a wide variety of sweets, ice creams and confectionery and like the coffee it's all good quality produce. The shop may have only been open for a few days but it was already busy with people stopping in to give it a try and there was a palpable buzz of excitement in the place. A very welcome change from the big brand places in the High Street and very much my new cafe of choice for coffee in Godalming.
