Superb sandwiches, coffee and cakes. A real find. Extremely nice staff too. My mum and I enjoyed a lovely lunch in the park thanks to Daisy Sandwiches.

Go to Daisys regularly and the team are always friendly and helpful! Good mix of sandwiches and wraps plus the cakes are great too!

I discovered Daisys during lockdown when having a coffee break whilst walking. Been going back almost daily ever since . Coffee , cakes and sandwiches all delicious and the staff more than happy to oblige some of my irregular requests.

Popped in to grab some lunch today - the team were friendly & welcoming, the food was exceptional quality, very delicious, and great valve for money!

Absolutely wonderful experience at Daisy’s. Sandwiches are always so fresh and tasty, and the service with a smile always makes the difference. Prices are so reasonable and the selection is great. Living in Godalming I can’t think of anywhere I’d rather get a sandwich.

Good food but for a cafe next to a train station the service is very very slow. make sure you allow at least 15 mins to get your food.

Wow! 5* on every level. Fantastic homemade food from people who actually care about their customers. We had: warm falafel, mint mayo, ripe tomato & red onion on soft, fresh granary bread/ roast chicken l, spinach & avocado on soft, fresh granary bread/ rocky road/ & 2 rhubarb Cawston drinks. Yum! Should have got a stamped loyalty card because this place is a total gem! We were asked about how we wanted the sandwiches made AND what we were doing for the rest of the day. We'll go out of our way to return to our new favourite sandwich spot.

On way for a family getaway for the weekend I thought I'd pop in for a bacon sarnie well... For one it weren't rashers couldn't even tell if butter was spread I should have just asked for 2 plain slices of bread. I'll stick to greggs!!!

I make the trip down to Godalming at lunch whenever I’m working from home just for their takeaway. The only place you can get a deli style salad all with fresh ingredients plus drinks, pastries, cakes and toasted sandwiches. Always worth the trip and a warm welcome 🤗

The sandwiches and toasties are always superb. You can either go for the special or select from the extensive list. All made in front of you and customisation is actively encouraged. There is always polite and cheerful chat and the coffee is the best I've ever had. If you're looking for a great sandwich and coffee, then this is the place to go in Godalming.

Love this place, best sandwich shop in town. Daisy’s make their sandwiches right in front of your eyes, so you know that everything is super fresh and pick what you would like, down to butter or mayonnaise, salt and pepper etc. The sweeter treats that are also on offer are fab, would highly recommend the carrot cake. Staff are all very friendly and efficient. Lovely place to get lunch or a snack.

Lovely little coffee shop at Godalming station today. My coffee was made with care and tasted great. Even asked if I’d like some cold water in my Americano, just how I like it, never usually get asked that - it’s the little things. The peanut butter/choc cookie was yummy too!

I love the way that Daisy Sandwiches make their sandwiches right in front of your eyes, so you know that everything is fresh and you can choose exactly what you want, right down to butter or mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and so on. I don't often indulge in their tempting cakes, but their brownies and flapjacks are delicious. Staff are friendly and efficient. Sandwiches are wrapped in double paper only, so no plastic.

Love this place. Food is great, staff are great….and ask me about their desserts…. They’re great too! Highly recommended for a nice lunch and/or and nice hot coffee and croissant to take with you on the train.

Daisy’s sandwiches and cakes are amazing. Freshly made to order, worth the extra distance to get lunch from here and service always with a smile. Would recommend a visit especially if you fancy a homemade cake. They also do platters for parties and business meetings so will definitely be ordering from here for those. They are at the train station so easy to find and convenient for grabbing food for onward travel. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Today I found Daisy's Sandwiches. BRILLIANT!! Tucked away at Godalming station is the best sandwich bar I have ever found. A simple bacon sandwich beautifully made to order with wonderful fresh bread and excellenty cooked bacon. Perfection. Rounded off with a superb coffee all at a very reasonable price. The shop looks amazing and I am sure that whatever they produce will be just as good. Only problem is that I now need to find reasons to visit Godalming much more often!!

It’s difficult to fault Daisies. They serve an excellent selection of freshly made sandwiches for a very reasonable price. The bread is fresh and these are definitely the best sandwiches in Godalming.

The sandwiches are so good. I am a big fan of the Cajun chicken, cheddar and jalapeño toastie. There are a number of different sandwiches and toasters you can choose from and they are freshly made on the spot. Never disappointed when I grab something to eat from here.

Very friendly place, efficient, calm, fast, good sandwiches, coffees, teas - takes less time to get a high spec sandwich than to get a return ticket at the counter. A must before heading to London.

Come here regularly for sandwiches at lunchtime - the staff are always very friendly and the sandwiches are good quality. Coffee is ok but would be nicer with different beans.Have to echo Simon's earlier review about the surly guy covering breakfast time though - very brusque and he practically bullied some of the younger people who didn't reply immediately with an order. It wasn't even that busy at the time.

Love Daisys. Freshly made take away sandwich shop. Always fresh produce with great sandwich suggestions and fresh salad box choices. Home made cakes including gluten free option. It's conveniently located for us and if it wasn't, we'd walk the extra distance anyway because it really is worth it.

Don't generally write one off reviews for poor customer service but today was a rare time I felt I needed to.

Unfortunately my latte was spoiled by the milk being burnt. Disappointing and had a train to catch so was unable to return and am now unwilling.

A winning combination: crispy bacon, thick white bread, brown sauce and a coffee. This makes the commute to London worth while. Contactless payment accepted.

I am a Godalming local and Daisy Sandwiches have the best sandwiches in town. Their ingredients are always super fresh and super tasty and the service is always so helpful and friendly. As I can't eat dairy, Daisy Sandwiches are always willing to accommodate. They even had dairy-free chocolate cake the last time I went in, which was the best thing ever! Having restrictions on what I can eat makes it difficult at times but knowing I can go to a place that accommodates for me, makes it so much easier!Great place, highly recommend.

£3.90 for a sandwich is not cheap - but I keep going back as they are sooo good. The staff are lovely, they use the finest ingredients - the bread especially is amazing!I have also tried the cakes there and they are made to perfection!

I have been frequenting Daisy Sandwiches for a long times. Their sandwiches are superb and they have such a wide variety to choose from and also have specials on a daily basis. I had a toasted stilton, bacon with cranberry sauce and it was wonderful and I went back a few weeks later for the same sandwich again. It is the family and staff that make this little business great and they are lovely people to deal with on a regular basis.

This is such a friendly place to pick up a coffee or lunch. Great choice of salads. The staff here are always lovely and so helpful. They have a great range of hot & cold takeaway food with lots of healthy choices as well as cakes & pastries

Without a doubt. The 'staff' are such a nice bunch. They go out of their way to suggest things to try and have a chat while making your food. The sandwiches are fantastic, option to toast any of them. Them you add the treats, has to be the peanut butter gluten free cookies. They even give you a free cookie in your birthday!!!Keep up the fantastic work team!

A good lunch is guaranteed. Chicken, bacon and guacamole sandwiches are outstanding but there is plenty of choice. Try a salad too! - nutritious and delicious. Finish with a flapjack or a rocky road and your pleasure will be complete.

Daisy's serves delicious sandwiches from early morning to late afternoon with a wide selection of drinks and coffee, and a selection of newspapers for the train ride ahead.Judging by the huge following they have of Goalming college students they clearly serve the best food at the best price in town.The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much bother.

Daisy's is a longtime favourite place of the office at lunchtimes and I've always viewed a sandwich from there as a treat. My word, I'm still recovering from today's adventure. I have just paid 5.20 for a smoked salmon sandwich and can of diet coke. I would love to buy a sandwich or a salad box more than bi annually without the need to take out a mortgage :-(

I have been working in godalming for around three to four months.I go into to the shop a couple times a week.I can alwasy garuntee great service followed by great food.I wish where i commute from woking had a "Daisy" as well. If you ever at godalming station and have a few minutes to spare pop you head in even if its only for a paper because you promised a very nice chat from all the employees. Im a shame to be leaving them but can promise to return :)

When travelling back to Witley from Waterloo on a week day, I always hope that the train stops at Godalming for my connection onwards; this is because I can go to Daisy's for a sandwich and a cake. Their rocky roads are the best I have ever tasted....only wish it was open on the weekend

I enjoyed Daisy's over many years of commuting from Godalming to Waterloo.Come rain or shine, in the depths of a bleak winter when the wrong type of snow had messed up the train schedule, or in the height of a sizzling summer, you knew that Daisy's would provide a newspaper, a decent cup of coffee, a sausage roll, a damned fine sarnie - and much, much more - all with a friendly smile and a bit of banter.I'm taking a rest from commuting at the moment, but if I'm forced back to working in London I'll know that one of the best station cafes in the south of England will be there to soften the blow.

Daisy's is quite possibly the greatest sandwich shop I have found in the UK. In a nation that worships the pre-made and prepackaged sandwich, it is very gratifying to be able to choose from an array of fresh, tasty and homemade ingredients and make your lunch to order. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I have no kitchen at home at the moment so thought I would treat myself and my husband to some prepared sandwiches. There was loads to choose from and some unusual mixtures. Stan had smoked salmon and cream cheese and I had egg mayonnaise with rocket. It really worked. Fabulous. The service was excellent and I will definitely go back for more. Thoroughly recommend it. Grabbed a coronation chicken sandwich on the way back from an interview yesterday. It was delicious. It was a bit expensive but of high quality and filling. Very friendly and professional staff.

Everyone there is delightful - friendly and helpful - the food is absolutely delicious - sparklingly fresh and imaginative, as well as all the 'old favourites' - and the cakes are divine! This is a family run coffee and sandwich shop connected to the booking hall of Godalming railway station - it is part of the station building. The sandwiches are made to order and are absolutely excellent - there is very good coffee and a wide range of other drinks too. And these are quite substantial sandwiches too, all fresh and nicely wrapped. The coffee shop is an absolute staple for commuters, local taxi drivers, the emergency services and a whole host of other contented customers. There is nowhere to sit, barring the seats in the booking hall and the platforms, but it is quite amazing to see the diversity of really good food coming from this postage stamp of a shop. Newspapers too and always a bright conversation.
