all food is cooked fresh so you wait a little longer - but that gives you a chance to catch up with family/friends! It is very close to the national trust - the devils punchbowl - why not stop here for a drink/cake/food rather than always go to the national trust cafe!? It's great to support local and you won't regret it. We go on a bike ride from Grayshott and stop here on our way home. My son loves a bacon sandwich and my daughter the all day breakfast - they were more than happy to accommodate personal tastes.

We visited mid morning while part of a sports event at the Devils Punchbowl. Despite having 3 over-excited children we were made very welcome. It’s not a huge menu, but there was no issue to adjust a couple of menu items for the kids and the food was tasty. Staff were lovely and they even gave the children some free chocolate cake (in case they weren’t excited enough!). Well worth visiting if you in the area. It seems a very good local business.

Had lunch there on a Sunday with two young kids. They could not have been more helpful and food was great. Would thoroughly recommend. If walking around Devil's Punchbowl, this is a much better place to eat than the over crowed National Trust offering - its literally 3 min walk down the hill towards town.

Ideal for anyone visiting the punchbowl common and wanting refreshments. There are a few outside tables which was nice as the road outside is fairly quiet these days. Dare I say a little expensive, but it shows in the quality.

We went into the cafe looking for a takeaway sandwich before heading to a kids birthday party starting at midday. We have several food allergies so we were impressed with the owner’s willingness to prepare something suitable for us and serve it before midday which is when most other places would start serving their lunch menu from. At Pickwick we were able to get a homemade chilli with jacket potato and a freshly made salad as well other dishes to suit our dietary requirements of gluten and dairy free.

Keely and Clive looked after us and our children with smiles late on a Sunday afternoon. This place is a bit of a rarity nowadays - not only for the warm welcome, in contrast to most other cafés on a Sunday at 4pm - but also for the menu. They had a decent selection of freshly made sandwiches and paninis (with an interesting salad garnish - not just a leaf of lettuce and half a piece of tomato) and some good salads as a meal in themselves eg warm chicken salad, on the menu. To add to this they had nice fresh crisps and cakes and the house white (wine) is not bad either. We polished off the lemon cake with tea from proper teapots in nice china cups. The location near the lovely Devil’s Punchbowl National Trust property means you can walk off the goodies afterwards too.
