Lovely spot, staff very friendly and service was very good! However disappointed about the value for money, items on the brunch menu seemed expensive for what was described, I paid £12.95 for a tasty but very small brunch portion.

Popped in for a quick coffee and ended up staying for 3 hours. Lovely place with relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing food and coffee.

Poppee in today as we were in Farnham. Had a really lovely panini and club sandwich with some teas. The space was really nice the service was really relaxed and the food was of a high standard.

Great variety of foods. Particularly for the more health conscious and friendly staff. Dog friendly too!

The menu, a delightful concoction of both classic and contemporary dishes and the staff are as delightful as a well-brewed cup of earl grey. In summary, a splendid sojourn that is positively worth a visit!

We booked one of the private dining rooms for 24 people for a special 80th Birthday celebration. From initial booking all the way through to the evening Demelza was on hand to assist with food orders and special requests. All the staff were brilliant, Emma looked after us for the evening. A great asset to the team. Food was really good, we were all very happy with our choices. Hats off to the chefs as the pub was extremely busy. My mother in law had a super evening Thank you

I ordered a steak today and it was amazing and tender! I was able to meet the chef Charlie I think it was? Luckily was able to catch her as she went to the talk to the bar staff. And was able to pull her to one side where she told me she was the grill chef. Of which I told her that it was the best steak I’ve ever had! Absolutely amazing food!

Another one to get a parking fine. I picked up a take-away and had a pint while waiting. To be fair the food was ok for what it was, and I would consider going back but having just received the £100 fine…….: I didn’t see any signs and certainly wasn’t warned when I went into the pub. Shocking behaviour!!! Is the pub on a share of profit scheme???

Love this place. The music is so vibey, staff and bartenders are so kind. Drinks are too expensive either. Go to for a night out.

My wife and I hosted our 50th birthday celebration at the Howling Owl and we couldn’t have hoped for a happier celebration. Wendy guided us very knowledgeably and efficiently through the decision making which made the planning process a pleasant experience. The venue was beautiful, tasteful decor and lighting, and a lovely well stocked bar! All the staff were amazing and attentive to our guests and the food we chose was delicious. Thank you very much to the Howling Owl team for helping make our birthday so memorable.

Awful. Unfriendly, unnerving and generally uncomfortable. The staff and the regulars aren't nice, sarcastic and not nice. Wasn't a nice experience. AVOID!

Great experience here, loved the many gluten free options, the speed of service and the atmosphere.

Quaint village pub. Friendly locals
