Second visit - both really lovely experiences. Food delicious and beautifully presented. Decor in dining area really nice. Staff polite and attentive. An all-round enjoyable experience.

We had a fabulous evening, 24 of us enjoyed the superb food, efficient, friendly service and excellent value for money. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Very bad experience ordered baked potato beans, cheese and side salad High lipped Plate arrived with potato cut open a little cheese on it and a pool of baked beans mostly sauce all over the whole plate including the few leaves of salad -not acceptable tasteless and looked a mess. However, staff very friendly and I was offered a replacement but as in a group timing would have been difficult

Superb takeaway. Large portions and delicious. When down on holiday will come back. Prices are reasonable and pleasant staff.

Just visited here for coffee/cake. So impressed by two members of staff - one male, one female. A great team. Both very efficient, courteous and respectful to all customers throughout - in spite of being extremely busy throughout my visit. Would highly recommend the flapjack - delicious

Had a terrible meal here over Christmas. Bean cassoulet with hake fillet. the cassoulet wasn't a cassoulet rather a mixture of dry mashed up beans scraped into a mound with the consistency of overly dry mashed potatoes. The hake was dry like it'd been cooked for an hour. Sent back and offered a burger which was edible but nothing better than you get at a fairground with the chips hastily thrown across the plate. Overly long wait for food considering we were the only group in there when we ordered. Not worth another go considering the prices and competition

Last-minute birthday lunch turned into a treat! Friendly staff, top-notch food—loved the goat cheese & beetroot tart, and the Korean chicken wings were a hit. Mains were delicious too, though we barely managed both courses. A gem of a local spot for great food and service—highly recommend!

My family were celebrating my mum’s 80th birthday. She was utterly spoilt by the staff who couldn’t do enough to accommodate our needs. Mum is coeliac, therefore gluten-free and I am vegan. Wonderful food options for us and wonderful service. Highly recommend, beautiful setting too. I have been to this cafe before and experienced the same great service. Going back again soon

We have just tried this cafe by chance and glad we did. It was lovely and clean, lovely staff and lovely reasonably priced food.

I’ve made the journey from Faversham to Water Lane just for breakfast here several times and it’s always worth the trip. Food is always fresh and tasty and large portions. Restaurant is in a beautiful old glass house, interesting atmosphere and surroundings are stunning.

The cafe is lovely but the female staff are appaling. My son went to get ice cream and there is a step in front of the fridge. He went there to see the flavors and this blond mid aged was rude and abrasive to him. For a shy 6 years old completely ruined is experience to the point that he didn't want the desert. She was doing this to other kids as well. Maybe she was having a bad day but don't justify scream to small kids the way she was doing. I spoke to other member that maybe was nice to put a note to not step there , she just ignored and cut me mid sentence even though I was still been served. It was awful and spoiled the lovely day for my kids. For a place that charge 3,50 for a small bottle of water the staff should at least be civil.

Popped in here for takeaway for the family. Fish nice and plenty of chips. Friendly Chinese lady. You can park round the back too.
