The Rye Bakery in Tunbridge Wells

I'm really sorry to review this as I used to love them but as they have put the price up the quality has mgone down . A little greasy and over cooked.. Sorry 🙏 x

I regularly stop by on my way home from an early morning run to buy a loaf of bread. I can get it thin sliced which means the sandwich filling is the star of the show rather than great slabs of bread. The staff are friendly, helpful and cheerful. Always a pleasure to deal with. The bread is lovely and fresh. I often indulge in a little "naughty" too (flapjacks mostly) and they too are delicious and generous portions ... one flapjack is two decent servings. I started using the bakery when the country went into lockdown and I wouldn't change now. All in all a great village shop.

Fantastic bread great cakes, quality service. Welcoming and friendly will defiantly visit again very soon.

Lovely bakery, always nice and fresh, the bread is great, and the cakes and pies are good too, you can also get a coffee, if you want.
