Lovely cafe, tasty food but a very long wait. 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches is too long!

Lovely food. Lovely friendly staff. A must if you visit Lamberhurst. Big pot of tea and freshly made cake. What could be nicer. This gives you a big warm feeling. We love it here and free parking! Great food, beautifull situated but unfriendly!

Tasty breakfast! A little pricy but no problem for the size of the shop.

Food was average, service was cold and awkward. We were not made to feel welcome so all in all surprised at the 4.9 rating.

I do not usually write reviews because I'm not very techy but on this occasion I've made the effort! Following a move by my brother we have made this teashop our meeting place. We meet for a Saturday lunch catch-up and a wander in the lovely location. It's been just perfect - the owner and staff are lovely and the food just exactly what is required. We always leave looking forward to the next time. Thank you Alison, Anna and Team.

Absolutely love this coffee shop Love to pop in regularly, the staff are so welcoming and know just how to make the perfect flat white! Delicious array of food, of which I've tried most items (never photographed as I'm too busy tucking straight in!) Alison and her staff have got this all just so spot on, gorgeous decor, a lovely vibe and the cakes, pastries and brunch are divine! Great selection for all dietary requirements, children and dog friendly 👏 although I prefer to go alone as a treat to myself!

I stopped here on my way to meet a friend at Scotney Castle. The food was ok, but I felt extremely uncomfortable when it came to pay. This is the first cafe in which I have ever been presented with a card machine with the tip already entered on the screen. That just smacks of greed and I did not appreciate the pressure to tip. I don’t mind tipping employees at restaurants, but this appeared to be a tip for the cafe owner. I won’t return.

Took a little detour to find this gorgeous, little dog-friendly cafe on our way back from Kent. It did not disappoint. Fantastic coffee and smoothies. Next time we're nearby, we'll be sure to stop for food and/cake, as they looked delicious.

Visited Teise and Coffee with a friend . A delightful place. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. We had a Full English Breakfast that was both tasty and plentiful. The cakes looked amazing. A morning well spent.

Friendly, busy little cafe which had tasty food - we ate everything! They even had little toys and colouring for little-uns to use while you eat as well as refills which was handy as we just ran out of body wash.

Saw the excellent reviews for this quaint little cafe and decided to come here for coffee, prior to our Scotney castle visit. It was a good decision as the cafe certainly met the high expectations we had. The staff were friendly and welcoming, while the coffee was really very nice, as was the cake. Lots of interesting snacks and food available. Would definitely recommend a visit here if you are in the area.

Just a lovely place. So sad we haven't discovered it before now! Stopped after a circular walk around Scotney & Kilndown. Had the most delicious bacon avocado & tomato Bagel & a good flat white. My wife a smoked salmon & scrambled egg Bagel. Lovely people, super service, beautiful place

First visit to this wonderful little cafe and I can guarantee it won’t be the last! What a find. We had coffee and delicious carrot cake sitting outside under cover. A chilled bottle of water was also provided. The lovely girl who served us couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next visit 😊👍

I only had a croissant, but the food others were eating looked very good. Coffee was good an all reasonably priced.

Excellent venue, delightful choices and quality customer service. Having prearranged a lunch meeting with friends elsewhere precluded sampling some of the delicious offerings on display. Next visit we'll allow for time enough to correct that oversight and make the most of their tempting selection.

This is a very sweet cafe with delicious cakes. Unfortunately, the lady who serve us was miserable and could't raise a smile. We also felt awkward chatting as there were people working on laptops who gave us 'stares'. Could do with some music to liven up the atmosphere.

This is a little gem of a place! Wonderful service, friendly atmosphere, pretty interior. I sat in the window in the sunshine and had a cappuccino made to my liking, and the best almond croissant I have ever tasted. You can also sit outside. I would highly recommend a visit. They bake their own cakes too!

My husband and & I love this little coffee shop, they do the most delicious scones jam and cream. They were so fluffy inside and freshly baked! Plus the eggs royale is delicious, the hollandaise sauce is out of this world with eggs cooked to perfection! We went two weekends ago with my son and his girlfriend and my sons girlfriend had the vegetarian breakfast with halloumi cheese and said that was gorgeous too! I cannot recommend this little gem enough!

Such a lovely sweet cafe in the heart of the village. Their coffees are phenomenal as is the food. Such an array of food to tickle all tastebuds and who could say no to some sublime cake! Have been visiting T&C several times a week since they first opened around 5 years ago, and never been disappointed. All the staff over this period have been most friendly and helpful and when time allows will stop and have a chat. Their flat whites are excellent as is the food, what more could one ask?

My husband, daughter and I go to Teise and Coffee regularly and are always welcomed warmly. Alyson and Zoey go out of their way to make every visit a real treat. The food — particularly the breakfast bagel — is delicious and we always leave with a smile on our faces!

Found this lovely cafe after a long and mud walk around Bewl Water. We were welcomed with our muddy boots, small child and baby even though it was almost closing time. The choice of drinks was impressive with vegan options and the cakes were to die for (even the gluten free ones)! Alison could not have been more friendly, chatting to the little one and letting us stay past closing time to finish feeding the baby. Only improvement might have been a vegan cake option, otherwise we were very happy, especially when the bill arrived - very reasonable. Thank you for a most enjoyable afternoon tea.

First stop on our 4 week drive through the English countryside…so glad we stopped at Teise and Coffee! Great food, wonderful coffee and cakes to die for! Service was warm and friendly. Don’t go past this gorgeous little cafe if you’re visiting this gorgeous village

Really lovely cafe that is definitely worth visiting. Staff are very friendly. Cakes are absolutely delicious and they could definitely teach Costa how to make a gorgeous black forest hot choc! My husband enjoyed his coffee very much too. We had dogs and so sat outside. Nice quiet road with lovely old buildings. We were able to park right outside ( it was a week day in September), but it looked like there are plenty of places to park within a short walk.

We stopped here for a relaxing cream tea at the end of a long walk around Lamberhurst. Two huge scones each, a choice of jams and a proper pot of tea make for really good value. You need to know that they bake the scones freshly when you order otherwise it feels like slow service.

DOG FRIENDLY DELIGHTFUL TEA & COFFEE SHOP. We stumbled upon this gem of a tea and coffee shop. I opted for the cream tea and my husband for the eggs Benedict. I asked to swop my normal tea for a fruit one and was shown the available options with a friendly smile and guide. I opted for the chai they had available. I love the fact that I was asked which flavour jam I preferred with my cream tea. When our order arrived two servings of scones were place down. My husband made extra sure to remind them that it was one order of cream tea and they assured him it was; you got two scones....oh boy was I delighted, I just love my cream teas! Whilst awaiting our order I noticed that they had other things for sale as well like cards, art, coffee, handmade soap, bamboo take away mugs and they also had a refill station for shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, detergent, etc. And I thought very reasonably priced

My wife and I were looking for a coffee pitstop and came across this gem. As an increasingly snobbish coffee drinker, I was delighted by the perfectly made flat white! And the almond croissants were out of this world! Will try and find an excuse to return 🙂

Great service, food is good enough

This is a lovely small cafe, serving a selection of food and coffee, situated on the main street of Lamberhurst. I only had a black Americano and a toasted tea cake. The coffee was a good tasting blend. Toasted tea cake was okay, on a par with a big coffee chain's tea cake. I'll definitely visit again and try their bacon sandwich.

We decided to treat ourselves to a cream tea during lockdown and having seen Alison’s lovely scones on Instagram and as the cafe is not very far from us, we gave Teise & Coffee a go. We were not disappointed, the scones were lovely and we’ll be treating ourselves again, maybe getting to sit inside the cafe once they are able to reopen.

Came across this small and cosy coffee shop on our travels. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a cheese scone ( very cheesy, very sconey) and a plain scone with jam and cream. Both were lovely as was the coffee.. Can thoroughly recommend.

On entering the cafe/ restaurant I immediately was impressed by the cleanliness and how neat the place was, food displayed under hygienic glass covers.We were immediately greeted by the staff and a table for our party was made available,helpful friendly and professional- just how I like it.Orders were taken, the coffee was the best I had on this holiday.The menu was simple ,but I suspected there was no drum beatingneeded judging by the amount of people who were obviously locals visiting.My meal was delicious and substantial.We were all happy with our meals and would definitely recommend and come back.
