Good food,good service nice comfy atmosphere! What else could you want? I loved it.

Great Cafe, just what you want a cafe to be like. Large portions of great quality food, great place for breakfast and open nice and early.

Always busy...because its good food at a good price !

2/2/2025. A mate and I just each had a ‘big brekkie’ here (at 1pm). Really quick service, good portions and well cooked. Really nice people and will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious! I had bacon and egg sandwich on thick, soft, hand-cut white bread. The accompanying side salad was fresh, crunchy and tasty. Others had a Tummy Tickler (the smaller all day breakfast). It had egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown, beans, mushrooms, toms (fried or plum) & toast. So good! The staff were really friendly.

We've been coming here a while for a full English. Only word of warning is that once you've been here, nowhere else's fry ups will compare. It's sometimes a bit of a squeeze, but it's well worth it. We barely have fry ups anywhere else anymore, rather waiting until we're near TW too head too Sanjay's. Value for money is exceptional and it's always friendly in here.

Best proper fry up breakfast in England. Find better !!! Honestly it’s not flashy, but it is freshly cooked and always delicious! Try his SriLankan specials…..so good!!

Whenever we visit round the corner we love to go to Sanjays. They're so friendly and welcoming, and the food is good value, tasty and very reasonable. Definitely plan to go again next time we're visiting!

The best value full English breakfast in tunbridge wells. The coffee is also something I look forward too on each and every visit. The hardest thing is getting a place because it can be a busy venue and the reputation means lots of customer's. Its always worth the effort and then i look foward to finishing a "big breakfast" Although the wife loves the Asian style omelette 😋 👌 Thank you sanjay will be popping by again tomorrow

Incredible value. Take a big appetite! Really tasty and good quality. Don’t know how he does it for the price - (also Sanjay is a lovely man and often sends me home with a sausage for the dog!)

Went All the way to Sanjays to get breakfast was told they don’t do takeaways when they are busy don’t bother with this place if there’s more then 2 people you won’t be able to order takeaway shocking service

Sanjay’s is an excellent cafe located in Tunbridge Wells on St. John’s road near Sainsburies. The food is of exceptional quality all freshly prepared and locally sourced. The service is outstanding and you will feel well looked after here. The pricing is also extremely reasonable. I visit as often as I can. Highly recommended.

Because of the many good reviews here, my partner and I decided to have breakfast here. We were certainly not disappointed. I had the full English breakfast, my partner had the avocado sandwich. Both were served in very generous portions and cooked to perfection. Good staff. So, certainly one of the best places in RTB to have breakfast.

Sanjay is a legend and his food doesn’t disappoint. Simply put - this is the best fry up I’ve eaten in a long time and I’m an expert!!

Great food, nicely cooked and plenty of it. However the toilet facilities are a bit grim, best go before you arrive!

One of the best places to get a full English breakfast in tunbridge wells. If not the best it is by far the best value. The coffee has a great taste, the portions are large and the service is always friendly. Never been disappointed. The only issue is getting a seat, the venue is small so it's not always possible to get a table. When this has happened I have done some shopping and popped back in the hope I get lucky so far only once had to go elsewhere. My wife loves the Asian style omelette 😋. Its difficult to give it more stars for atmosphere as its often full, and can fill very busy. Take people you want to be with and it's always great. Keep up the good work Sanjay.

I ordered the breakfast sandwich from Sanjys after hearing only good things from people in the area. The size of the serving was huge, although there was no need for the side “salad” or the chips - they did state for £1 less they would remove the chips. Overall taste was expected and reminded me of some of the best greasy spoons. The bacon had a fair bit of stringy fat, not to my liking but others may enjoy. The only real let down was that the hash browns had been deep fried and so had the chips - which added a lot of grease and oil to the overall flavour.

Full English breakfast always cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced.

i have know Sanjay for 20 years and i use this lovely café regularly fantastic food and service and excellent chef i think i trained him he is that good good luck with the business just keep sending out excellent food

Amazing breakfast, that was brilliantly cooked. Went as a family of 4 and everyone was satisfied with the food and flavours. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going!

Have to say this is no greasy spoon! A great breakfast menu which is sensibly priced with good portions and nice ingredients. Lovely to see a family business doing well and delivering great service with a smile in an efficient way!

The chef in this cafe really knows his stuff. The breakfasts here are incredible, it’s like having a home cooked breakfast, maybe even better! This is not a normal cafe. This is more bistro style fresh, very well cooked food. I would highly recommend 🙌 The staff are incredibly polite and the venue is small but clean.

Nice food but not worth waiting 2 hours for!!! I get that good food takes time but this place is on another level, first off didn’t even get a drink for 25 mins before I was even acknowledged! 1 man trying to do to much! Next time I think il opt for somewhere else u less I have a free half day!

Absolutely amazing! About time we had a ‘proper’ fry up in Twells! Highly recommend. It’s only a small spot and it’s really busy but when your food arrives you’ll know why!

Giving 1 star because the coffee was nice as were the hash browns. Once we had squeezed into a tiny table in the corner of the busy cafe we waited nearly 10 minutes for someone to take our order because it was "very busy" and we ordered 2 coffees and 2 breakfasts. Some 20 minutes later someone came back to take our orders? They then found our original order on the counter. Another 40 minutes later we finally got our food none of which was right by that point we were past caring. The food was not great quality at all and the sausages were dreadful. I have had better fry ups in greasy spoons for half the price. Luckily we aren't local so it's no great loss to us but honestly save yourself the time and don't bother. Wish we had gone next door.

Outstanding. Tasty sausage and egg nap made to order and very well filled. My younger colleague couldn't finish his larger breakfast bar which is unheard of. Will be back when next working near Tunbridge Wells. Thank you

Good prices, excellent food. Friendly staff. Only downside was a very cramped room with poor table layout, which made for an uncomfortable visit.

Never had a bad meal here and always bring our friends and family when they come to stay who are equally as impressed.

Came on recommendation from a friend - clearly a very popular brunch location with tables turned quickly and filled again immediately! Sanjays serves traditional full English and Vegan options. Staff are very friendly and keen that you enjoy your meal nothing is too much trouble as everything is cooked to order. I have been going for many years and personally feel they make the best Bacon and Sausage sandwichs in Tunbridge Wells!

If you are after a piping hot full English this is the place to go in Tunbridge wells . All breakfasts are cooked to order not pre cooked then re heated, the quality of the sausages and bacon are excellent not cheap quality’s you get in many cafes these days .if you have never had a breakfast here I 1000% recommend it

My wife and I met our daughters while In Tunbridge Well. Sanjays’s is quiet compact, but that didn’t stop the guys serving up one of the beat full English I’ve had in an age. Very friendly staff, great choice on the menu and a superb food. I know it sounds daft, but their toast was amazing.

Quality of the food is good. Prices are confusing as i ha e been charged for a bacon sandwich £6 takeaway when in menu the bacon sandwich with a salat and chips is 5.85 to eat in. I thought is the other way around cheeper when you take it to go. Been overcharged, the order, even if it was simple: bacon sandwich with brown toast and chilly sauce, got all messed up. I got a bacon sandwich woth bround bread no sauce no toast. When reported i have been told to take it or i have to wait 10 minutes. I forgot to. Mention that i have already been waiting for it for 10-15 minutes. The new bloke who was serving could barely understand what you are speaking with him. Mr Sanjay was always an amazing place to go for breakfast., maybe that's why i am so disappointed.

The best way to start your day - whenever I have a free morning I head down to Sanjay’s for the best breakfast in Tunbridge Wells. The big breakfast which cost less than £9 will see you through to dinner and put a spring in your step. The coffee is great too. A nice friendly local cafe. Will highly recommend.

Kfc and McDonald's stand down .... Sanjay does the best chicken burgers, plain or spicy in town. For sure the best chicken burger Ive ever had .... truly yumski

Went with a friend for a traditional English breakfast, and we both really enjoyed everything Sanjay's had to offer. We arrived around 8:30am (mid week) and there were plenty of tables free, so we sat down at one and had a look through the menu. It wasn't long before our order was taken, we were given the option to sub out parts of the Full English, this isn't always something you get at other places. Our drinks arrived quickly and the food wasn't far behind. The food tasted great and wasn't a greasy mess like you might get at other cafes. Great value for money, and well worth a visit if you are on the look out for an amazing breakfast place.

Value for money on the Big Brekkie is hard to beat! Will be back.

Sanjay's Cafe is by FAR the best Cafe in the area. The food is unmatched in quality and size. Easily the best big breakfast ever - and great coffee to boot. To top it all off, Sanjay is such a nice person and the customer service is on point! Try it, you won't ever go back to your old Cafe!

Always unbelievable food every time I come here. Sanjay is the nicest guy you could ever meet as well. The portions sizes are huge and are very reasonably priced, particularly at the moment. I can’t think of anywhere else in the area you could have breakfast and hot drinks for 5 people for less than £50!

An excellent breakfast with lots of vegetarian options too. Opens early on a Saturday.

Was down for work and recommended this place by someone who lived in the area. Had the Sri Lankan chicken club sandwich was one to the best I’ve had. Highly recommend and will be back!
