Stumbled across this wine bar when we were looking for some pre dinner drinks. Wonderful cosy atmosphere and classy yet funky interior. Friendly and professional service and wonderful wine ( Alsace Pinot Blanc.. my favourite)! We will definitely be back and will make sure to eat next time too!

Lovely place to chill and have a nice conversation with some good company. Great selection of wines, nice atmosphere, the people working in there were polite and nice. The decoration is very modern and trendy. Highly recommend this place.

Very yummy cocktails and scrumptious food. We came during a jazz night and were served by a lovely young lady named Lily. She made our experience very enjoyable and helped with recommendations. All in all a lovely evening and will definitely be returning!

Had a wonderful evening here. Members of staff were both helpful and charming but, like most of Tunbridge Wells, it was a bit pricey. I will be returning though.. perhaps I'm just a little tight!

Thanks to the wonderful team at the Wine Rooms for a perfect evening. 6 of us for a wine tasting hosted by the owner Dan. We drank gorgeous wines and shared delicious platters all in a stunning setting (see photos)

From start to finish Dan and the team made us feel very welcome. Great atmosphere and comfortable environment to celebrate a birthday. We booked the 6 new world wine tasting. 6 expertly selected wines tailored to us and complimented well with food. We all had a great time and could not fault the experience. Dan was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about wine. Shocked to see a couple of recent less positive reviews as we will certainly be coming back. Thank you! Sam

Sunday nice food and a good space for people watching. Lots of waitresses running around but disorganised and rather slow and providing customer service. Friday and Saturday night, empty inside and no tables. How does that work!!! Arrogant response if you ask for a table or a place at the bar. No alternatives offered. One of the waiters parents have a very large dog that turns up every Sunday and causes a bit of a stir. Typical patten of others we have seen over the 20 years. Business and Service with too much arrogance.

If you're going to call your place The Wine Room, it is a really good idea to have staff that know a little about wine. And it's also an excellent idea to stock great wines. The Wine Room chooses not to do either. Waiting staff wre unable to answer the simplest questions about wines. The wines by the glass were all , without exception, poorly rated plonk and very overpriced. Very disappointing. We had a few small plates to accompany the wines. But once again a lack of knowledge and poor quality spoiled the occasion. The Manchego was sweaty and cut far too thickly, too much quince on the bread, not enough bread. Olive Tapanade was just supermarket stuff, salty and lacking in any real flavour or earthiness.

Great poached eggs and delicious coffee in a friendly, trendy cafe. What more do you want on a Saturday morning? Highly recommended.

We went here last night for the first time and it has to be one of the nicest places in Tunbridge Wells! The food and drinks were amazing, such a good selection! The service was outstanding and the waiters made our evening - they were so friendly and really helpful! Such a nice buzzy bar/restaurant that is defiantly worth a visit!

My favourite place to go for a drink in Tunbridge Wells. Great wine list (and also cocktails and food), and a friendly service. It was a nice evening and we sat outside, but I really love the interior decor here too. Highly recommend a visit.
