Hawkhurst Fish Bar in Tunbridge Wells

Lovely couple who own the fish and chip shop, very chatty and friendly. The food was lovely, ordered 2 large cod, 1 large chips, mushy peas and curry sauce. The only slight downside was the batter on the fish was very oily but this could be made better by allowing the fish sit and drain for a bit, however this didn’t alter the flavour and the cod was moist and tasty. If we ever come and stay this way again we will sure to make a visit again.

Popped in here for takeaway for the family. Fish nice and plenty of chips. Friendly Chinese lady. You can park round the back too.

We had chicken and chips and the chicken was so dry it was hard to swallow no moisture in the chicken at all. So basically had chips to eat. Will not order chicken from hear again it was disgusting and disappointing.
