Works christmas party . Absolutely the worst meal we have ever had . Starter uncooked beetroot like a crisp with no flavour not able to cut . Main course roast beef Roast potatoes unable to even bite so hard,Yorkshire pudding just about possible to crack with my hands . Vegetables like mash and gravy like water . Many complains made . People sending food back .

It's the 2nd time we have been here. It's ok. We normally go to another Indian, but it's a drive away, and we thought we would go local. Can't complain about the staff, very friendly and helpful. The food was a bit bland, and my lamb was fatty and chewy. We ordered a bottle of wine, a sauvignon blanc. When it came, it was one of those cheap I heart wines, not what was on the menu card. Bit cheeky, especially as they charged nearly £20 for it, and I'm not sure entirely legal. Sorry, but I won't be rushing back.

Had smoked chicken it’s soooo dry even my dogs struggled to eat it. Definitely unpleasant every thing was looking pre owned or reheated ,, not nice

Great smiling staff, always on hand. Food was good quality, a little overpriced for what we all had. But a lovely country pub and would visit again if in the area.

Popped in whilst car was having it's service. Store was so busy such a long wait. The 2 girls on duty were amazing under such pressure good staff still polite and friendly 👍 07/02/2025

Was unsure about booking this restaurant as read some reviews that was not very positive. So glad I went with my intuition!! Booked a table for 8 of us every starter and main course was delicious and hot Also hot plates served for each course. Stafff are very friendly and attentive. One of our party is gluten free which was not a problem delicious monkfish dish. Will definitely return when we are back in the area 10/10

The Moat has a warm, buzzy, inviting atmosphere which makes it a lovely venue to eat in. The service is excellent, food very good and the staff are friendly.
