Kebab Express in Tonbridge and Malling

So rude when I called to say I've paid for something I didn't order, even hung up the phone on me twice after shouting at me. Incredibly rude. Will never use again. Totally disgusted with them

Good service and food was okay but since the change of people happened the meat is bland, no spices or flavour on it. Iv been going there for 20 years and it's sad to see it go downhill.

The price of the food is great, I can't complain about that. And the size of what you get is great too, definitely what you expect. The only downside I had was I couldn't eat the meat because it just tasted like as if I was eating a farm. I have had a few kababs and I have never experienced this.

Got told they were open on a flier posted 3 days ago that they are open T 1300. We walked 20 minutes to get lunch only to find they we're closed. Called an hour later and got told you are a liar and hung up on me. Totally dissatisfied. William never use again

Been going here for over 20 years and have not known a better kabab shop. Tonight however, the service was terrible. Guy (not usual guys I've seen before) too busy texting to even bother acknowledinh my presence. Finally grunted a "yes" . Food was superb but less chips than used too. Less salad than ever before and NO sauce at all despite asking for it. Not impressed and not their usual standard. Worse of all, I wasnt called "Boss" even once!

Great kebab here, also I left my phone in the shop and one of the guys run down the road after me in the lashing down rain to give me my phone back, great customer service thank you ! !

One of the worst kebabs I have had from you. Lukewarm meat and greasy so did not eat it all. Have had kebabs from here before and your kebabs were OK. Something went wrong last night.

Lamb doner not great tonite..very bitty...☹️

Noisy staff, ordered lamb doner to eat and chicken wings for take away. Doner was below average, and chicken wings were charred , to hide them , chips were put on top. Realized after coming home. Not very honest

Ordered the large mixed meat and chips, £9 for a large was an absolute bargain. Was sceptical at first, dinner was cut thick with bits of gristle in one or two slices. The chicken was a little fatty but what do you expect from a meat and chips? Choice of sauce was the homemade chilli sauce which is a rare find in most kebab shops and the sauce did not disappoint. Overall the kebab was excellent and will definitely be my new regular. Also drive home was about 30 minutes and it was still very very warm. Would be enough for 2 people really Or one very hungry person.

Ordered a take away food was amazing salad tasted very fresh and the meat was cooked very well , will be ordering again great service and great price

Worst kebab I have ever had!! Mixed grill full of oil! The donner was dry and chewy!! Chips had a horrible taste to them.

They claim to do the best kebabs in Kent. It's probably the only kebab I've had in Kent, but you could not get a better one. I can't wait to go again

Open until late so perfect snack after a night out! Staff are the friendliest people on the planet, and are happy to take your order before you have even entered the establishment. Plenty of seating if you are struggling to stand straight up. Food is pretty good and they are very generous with portions!

Been going to this kebab shop for the last 30 odd years absolutely fab!! Even when I moved out of area I’d drive here just for a kebab!!! Very friendly and always remembers my order!!!

Back from a gig and London and resistance is futile. Always busy late on a Saturday night, plenty of staff shouting out 'are you happy', just adds to what appears to be organised chaos. Orders flying in from both sober and drunk punters but the staff seem to know who ordered first and what. As for the food, very good whatever you order, we just had the small kebab, plenty of meat, chilli sauce is good and salad is loaded. One of our go to places when coming back from London after a night out.

Was unsure what takeaway to choose but so pleased to try this kebab house. Was served promptly and food was lovely. Hot and delicious. So good We had another one in the evening!!hope to visit again soon!! Well done

The prices are expensive and the guys come across as dodgy but the food is rely nice and the guys actually couldent be more helpfull rely enjoyed my expensive kebab the only reason i gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the high price and that we almost had to pay twise because the person i was with was drunk i paid for both of us and he paid for is again whilst the guy that took my payment took himself away to ignore my friend paying his other college untill i asked for his money back other than that i enjoyed it

It's a cliche to eat pick up a kebab after a night out, but there's a reason for it. There comes a time when sizzling lamb, enveloped in salad, a big dose of chilli sauce in a warm kebab is the perfect end to the night, and Kebab Express delivers that in spades.

Unfortunately the statement emblazoned on the outside of the shop is far from the truth. Lamb shish was chewy. Chips, good portion size but definitely not freshly cooked, more like warmed up old ones. But the biggest disappointment, the Chicken fillet burger, not even close to the picture, a crisp golden breadcrumbed piece of chicken is was not, rather just a plain chicken breast that had probably been lightly dusted in flour at some point in the day, and tossed into hot oil. Finally the attitude/RUDENESS of the staff, who when questioned about the chicken seem to think, that just shouting "SAME" over & over again, would somehow magically transform said chicken breast. Overall VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I have been to Kebab Express a good few times over the years, staff always friendly. The food that I ‘ve ordered has been good, well cooked and tasty. My wife and myself had been to watch a game of cricket at Beckenham and called in for a couple of chicken shish kebabs,large bits of chicken sealed on one side then butterflied open to be cooked though. Nice selection of salad mix both myself and my wife enjoyed the kebabs. This was about 18.30pm in the evening so not packed,it does get busy on Friday and Saturday nights and get a little boisterous at times.But if I’m happy then staff are doubley happy.

Went in the on a sat night, and it was quite literally the worse food I had ever had. Completely inedible. Chips where still raw meat was dry and the “garlic mayo” that drenched my food was watery and tasted like vinegar that made it so I could even finish my food . Will not be returning again complete waste of £7.50

I’m sure on the window of this kebab there’s a sign saying “the best kebabs in Kent” ... Not true.. just a usual Donna kebab, moth g really to brag about.. fresh crispy salad.. staff were ok, not overly friendly.. nothing special.

Usually order inside shop . Definitely get better quality portion and requirements as concerned tastes ie I prefer more salad and chili sauce, for the first time i made a phone order and got no where near what is a value order takeaway will never make a phone order again its a shame their not trust worthy i will use them again but only inshop order also a card reader would be useful as cash not always readily available.

Happy, happy, happy? Not really this time. I've had quite a few Doner kebabs from here, and they're normally very good. This time there was almost no meat left on the elephant's leg, and what was served was tough and tasteless. Disappointed.

My god i don't think I've had greasy moist liquid dribble down my face like that in a while and oh how rajesh serves you with his silver platter it was truly first class and made me feel loved. It was so calming to here him whisper "you want shish kebab" in my ear in a suggestive tone with a hot indian accent. Truly the place to go if you visit tonbridge as it is much better than the brothel.

I have bought kebabs several times from this restaurant,and have always enjoyed them. One warning - it was featured on a BBC programme about outlets that sold meat which was not pure lamb, but had substantial content which was something else, in this case, beef - the point being that people buying doner kebabs were being cheated because beef is cheaper

I go to this kebab shop every so often. Its not bad at all, you get a good portion for what you pay and a great variety of all salad and sauces. A big menu of all kebabs, burgers and other foods. If you're in South Tonbridge area it's worth a visit. Well priced and you can sit in and enjoy some food.

Cheap healthy nosh - mixed shish & Kofta and a can of pop - mind the police though; it's their hidden canteen . . . .

I knew it was going to be an issue when i noticed that the donar kebab was not freshly cut but taken from a pot. In fact the kebab machine was not even on. Never a good sign as that meet sits in grease in a pot and could have been there a month.Will NEVER return.
