The best restaurants in Tonbridge and Malling South East

Fantastic old pub in Kent countryside. Large and well kept beer garden and beautiful bar area. Staff friendly and welcoming. Great place for a drink and the food was very good quality and not expensive. Lovely traditional pub.

I ordered a veggie pizza from this place, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside yet soft and chewy inside. Every bite was bursting with flavor—honestly, one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Absolutely delicious, perfectly made, and simply amazing. Would come back again

I need to do this quickly before it becomes irrelevant. I've seen other reviews criticising the condition of this restaurant recently. Those reviewers probably weren't aware that the owners (Whitbread) are closing it in two weeks! Consequently, my review isn't so much about the building or the food as it it about the staff. I was there on business which meant dinner on arrival day and breakfast on departure day. Because it's closing soon, choice was limited so that's not really open for discussion. In reality, I had the same dinner meal I'd had at a London branch a couple of days earlier. This was SO much better!! It really was - and I properly enjoyed it. Nothing to fault in any way. What struck me though was the attitude of the staff - all of whom will be out of work in two weeks - they were amazing!! I can't get over the manner, the attitude, the buoyancy and the general ambience around them. Amazing under the circumstances and it wasn't limited to one or a select few - it was something shared across the entire team. Beyond that, the morning crew were very much the same (though different people). I can't comment on the decision to close - that's a commercial decision for the owners - but if you operate a hospitality business anywhere nearby, slip in for a meal and if you agree with what I found, hire some of these people. You're unlikely to regret it! There's little point in saying more because as I've said, in two weeks' time, it's all over but if this goes anyway to helping any of that amazing team of people move on, it will have been worth my writing!!

Under new ownership! Brilliant stay, beds are very comfortable, bar options are great and location is bang on!! Staff are so friendly here and can’t do enough for you. The building is beautiful and the grounds are lovely. Very chilled vibe, would come back and recommend!!!

I love this place. Food is delicious, staff friendly. I always choose to order online and pick up because its usually done within 15 minutes, so quick and efficient I don't have to wait around for someone to deliver it. Top service in my opinion

I stopped by Mickey's Diner for a Full English breakfast on the way to work. The portion size was decent, and the food overall was okay, but inconsistent - the beans were cold, and the mushrooms wet, but the sausage and bacon were fine. The service was efficient enough, nothing special, and the place had a typical roadside café vibe. It did the job for a quick bite, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again.

We visited this restaurant Saturday was hoping to try the one next door but it was full However we managed to get a table in this one I love Indian food , I cook it and try many restaurants as it’s my favorite We was both in agreement that this was one off the best that we have had in Kent Will definitely go back

Only Halal pizza spot in Tonbridge! The pizzas are loaded with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the Halal toppings never compromise on flavor. Terrible food worst Chinese I've had in ages foods got no taste very bland I ordered 2 meat pancake rolls that had no meat in them I ordered a portion of ribs I got 4 with not much meat on them and hardly any taste basically I've just wasted 30 quid don't waste your money like I did.

Food arrived 55 minutes after it was supposed to. The waffle fries were meant to be hot but we’re both cold and looked like they were days old. Will not use Subway again

Still waiting for a refund after they had no wifi a week ago and couldn't see the orders online. Store have been no help.

Got a meal from here it's now called cinnamon spice and it was delicious got it delivered took 35 min to get to us all fresh hot and honestly best Indian meal I had for ages I'd recommend this place to eat mmmmm yummy

We love the location of the cafe, but sadly the quality of the sandwiches was poor. We didn't want gluten free options, but had little choice. The bread was dry and tasteless and the filling wasn't inspiring. £ 4.50 for two pieces of dry bread and a tasteless filling. Will bring our own picnic next time.

Rude staff, apparently can only read half the notes??? Hopefully the driver that came tonight gets sacked, I did find it amusing as he got flashed by the speed camera as he drove off.
