The best restaurants in Tonbridge and Malling South East

I was working on a late shift this evening. I only have 30mins as a meal break. I decided that I would like a pizza for a change so ordered from Domino’s a few minutes before my collection time I drove up to collect it. The order tracker said it was ready for collection. However, In store I was told that it had been sent out with an order by mistake. I had paid when I ordered the pizza, as you have to with the on-line ordering system. I then had to wait while they remade my pizza. This made me very late and only allowed me enough time to eat part of my meal before having to return to work. I won’t be using them again because I don’t have time for this sort of inconvenience in my work shift.

Plenty of parking, nice menu, friendly staff. The iced latte was tasty and i sat on the deck enjoying the view and fresh air.

Had a lovely tasty 3 course meal, lovely service ,Olivia P was very attentive. Highly recommended.

We was probably the first to order at around 17:30 the day we visited this terrible restaurant for our evening take away, the food should have been hot and fresh, it was disgusting!!!! We knew there was a very good reason we stop going here months & months ago but we thought we would try it again, NOTHING had changed, absolutely crap, the chicken balls were nearly un-edible , the chips were dry and the special chow mein was vile, please don’t waste your money.

I ordered a delivery they called and said they couldn’t do it so they would refund me, that was a week ago and still no refund!

Wrinkly overcooked chips possibly warmed back up in the oil, dry solid saveloy. Will not be making another visit to this chip shop, Shame as before it changed hands it was the best chip shop around.

Lovely gift friendly service and the cream tea was delicious all very clean and across the road was a park so we did a walk as well

The East Malling Centre has been absolutely fantastic since I have been attending. Their service to the general public is amazing and I am so glad that I have found them and been able to use their wonderful services. Julie who runs the pantry is such a kind hearted, thoughtful lady who goes above and beyond to help you with your community shop. Katherine is absolutely fantastic, she has been such a huge support to myself and my family and I am so very glad to have her in my life. You are made to feel so welcome and comfortable when you attend anything here at the community center which is what makes them stand out so much from the rest. First time to use. Popped up my deliveroo, but i am not paying £6 for delivery. Served by a lovely young man who knew practically every dish by heart, he was very helpful when we struggled to locate items. Food was good, however I hate duck on the bone and that's how they do it here and it was overly dry and crunchy. I'm so used to it coming off the bone now I forgot to ask. Their spicy smoked chicken is amazing as is the chilli beef. The starter for 2 is stingy on the prawn toast only giving 2 where as most give 4. Definitely go back again but not for duck. Atmosphere was a 2 purely because those poor fish need something in their tank as a stimulus! A plant at least, plus they need cleaning shrimp or a sucker fish to clean it!

This was the worst takeaway we have ever had the food was cold and crushed. It was 1.1/2 hrs late and bits missing. The delivery driver was rude and couldn’t care less about the service he was meant to provide, he delivered the food in a lidl bag instead of a thermal bag. I will never eat from this place ever again it was disgusting. We complained but even the customer service team couldn’t care less. It spoiled the whole birthday party.

We ordered online and the pizza turned up without two of the toppings. Very annoying as you pay per topping. They told me to call up and get money off next time but this happened before and when I did call the next time they conveniently didn’t know anything about it. Frustrating as the food is good.

The cafe staff are friendly,nothing is too much trouble. They are pleasant,and great service. Had food occasionally found service and food excellent

I’ve been using this place for quite a few years and now will not use again as the last three visits I have made at around 20.00-20.15 pm and have been waved off because they are closed . If you say your open till 20.30 pm then you should be . Small portions and get quite a lot off lettuce that isn’t fresh .

Went to collect a Surprise Bag - time for pick up was between 6 - 6:55 pm. Arrived at 6: 40 to find doors locked, no one even looked at me, so I drove round to the drive through where not one member of staff manned the ordering kiosk. The app pinged and told me the order had been collected - they clearly could not be arsed to open the doors so clicked the "collected" button! Absolute joke. Closing time clearly states 7 pm.
