We went on Sunday but the lady behind the chill was obviously still a trainee as she had no assistance there was long cues and every time she had to do something on the till she had to ask someone out the back terrible service, we had a cup of tea and the cappuccino which was served immediately but the time our bacon roll came 25 minutes later we had finished our drinks there's not enough stuff dirty plates and trays everywhere and I don't think they should leave a trainee on the till on a Sunday When the bacon roll did arrive it was ok

I went to this cafe just before I went shopping. There was a little queue but the service was really quick and the pricing was really good. I would definitely recommend

After lockdowns I saw that the cafe had a little makeover, so I thought I would give it another go after some years ago saying I would never go there again, I should not have bothered. Shame Tesco did not makeover the staff! Cafe reasonably busy, staff like headless chickens rushing around and getting nowhere. Never enough staff here. Till went on the blink........seen that one before. I ordered a coffee and a sarnie told there would be about a 15 min wait. Ok. A half an hour later the so called toastie arrived, not as hot as it could have been because the member of staff wandered around asking at tables......what was the point of the numbered plaque given to me? Toastie was at best shown the grill .........not nice! This time round I have promised myself that I will NEVER eat in Tesco cafe again.

Why are there never enough staff to maintain service?? Yet again kept waiting for a simple breakfast (they run out of fried eggs every third breakfast or so). Then when you do finally get handed your food it goes cold whilst you queue to pay as the single person taking payment also has to prepare customer drinks. Very poor service and quality.

We stayed in Ullapool for a week, enjoying the wonders of this unusual coastal cove. The only store for miles is just off the shoreside. This really is a godsend when one needs a recently priced snack. This is the only place to buy fruit,as smaller stores around are not equipped for these products.

I know that this is just a supermarket cafe but it really is awful. Nearly £4 for a cheese and ham toastie that must of been microwaved as it certainly wasn’t toasted with hardly any filling and dry as a bone. Also had to look for a table for a while as the first 3 we went to were filthy. They need to up their game as other supermarket cafes are far superior.

Popped in for lunch when in the area. A few menu choices unavailable, long queue, tables needing clearing. The food was as expected for the price. It's not expensive so you can't expect too much but what struck me was that 2 older members of staff were expected to serve and clear tables during a lunchtime service. Typical Tesco! Greedy and not giving a stuff about their staff. This cafe could be fairly good if staffed properly.

Had a veg breakfast. It is eight items for £4. I had two eggs, two sausages, two toast, beans and hash brown. Pot of tea which makes 2 cups was £1.45. Really filling and enjoyable.

Me and my wife went to have breakfast here last Sunday and it was the worst cafe experience I’ve ever had. The staff need training in customer service, they have no idea how to converse with the genre public. It was terribly managed and very slow. Food was just ok. At one point the blond haired lady serving us stopped and said “ I’m stressed I need a fag “ which I found strange considering their was only about four people in the cafe including me and my wife, how you can get stressed serving four people is beyond me. There was a dark haired young girl who was standing by the till who was more interested in her phone and kept swearing. Tesco you need to train your staff in customer service they need motivation. It’s a shame because we have just moved to the area and I would’ve liked a local cafe near by to use regularly but I won’t be using this one again.

This is the second time I tried to get lunch here. I really won’t bother again!! First time service was ridiculously slow and the food was kept warm and soon dried up into an inedible lump! Today was awful the lady behind the counter didn’t seem to want to serve us. When she eventually got to us I asked what was available - as last time there wasn’t a lot of choice. Well this time she said only bacon and sausages - not the best choice!! So we didn’t bother - my husband was fed up (hangry) so said this is a rubbish cafe and we won’t be back. Well the lady did not like this and proceeded to moan about us - loudly (& very unprofessionally) to the next customer - in my ear shot, saying if I’d given her a chance we could have had ham egg and chips or scampi and chips. Like they were doing us a favour - not actually doing there job!! Remember I had already asked what was available and this wasn’t offered. In my opinion she didn’t want to cook anything otherwise why were we not offered this?! If you want freshly cooked food go to Sainsbury’s in Aylesford nothings a problem there. Tesco’s cafe is the worst I have ever been to for customer service and food so I wouldn’t bother!!

I’ve never had particularly good service in the cafe, but haven’t visited for a while, so thought I’d give it another chance. Never again! My Mum & I arrived at 2pm - hardly late in the day. The hot plates were completely empty. No food to be seen at all - apart from one bowl of insipid looking chips. There were five staff behind the counter - four were standing chatting, and one was rushing around. I asked if we could still order from the menu on the wall, and was told that some things were available. I asked for a fish finger wrap (on he menu!) to be told it wasn’t available as they had run out of wraps. I enquire why they couldn’t get any from the shop - they’re part of a huge supermarket after all! But was told that, “We can’t. It doesn’t work like that!” I could see a white loaf on the counter, and so asked for a fish finger sandwich instead. And was told, “We can’t do that! It’s not on the menu!” I asked if I could have a sandwich and pay the price I would have paid for a wrap. And was told, “No!” I was offered fish fingers and chips! Needless to say, I left without making a purchase. Avoid this cafe at all costs!!! The staff look as if they don’t want to be there, and they behave as if they don’t either. Shocking!

Came here for lunch on a Thursday. The cafe had about 6 people in front of me in the queue. It took over 20 minutes to get to the front of the queue. In that time we established that aside from breakfast items, there wasn't much food to be had. What was there looked unappetising. Very few cold food items, no soft drinks left, cakes looked sad and dry. Staff seemed friendly enough, but either needed to speed up/be more efficient in their operations or there needed to be more of them. The bacon sandwiches were cheap white sliced bread, value marge and a couple of insipid looking rashes - we had plenty of time to watch the food being prepared. We ended up only ordering drinks, and if we had had any other choice, we would have left without having anything. The length of queue was just ridiculous. Poor quality all round I'm afraid and I would not bother going there again, ever!

We come here most Monday mornings after a shop in the store and it's very hit and miss I'm afraid. Sometimes the food is fresh and nice, we usually have a cooked breakfast or toasted tea cake with a pot of tea. Other time you have to wait a long time for things to be cooled and even then they have seen better days. Most of the staff are friendly and it is reasonably priced. Just don't go expecting a fantastic meal.

Regrettably this establishment still provides slightly less than average food and decidedly sub standard service. There can be no excuse for there being just one assistant serving at 930 in the morning with one other apparently in the kitchen and two others on their break. It is altogether unfortunate that this sort of poor service is all too common in this cafe. And because the throughput of customers is slow the food becomes less freshly cooked and less appetising. The major issue here is that it doesn't have to be like this. With a little thought it could be upgraded but the impression is that nobody actually cares. Every little helps? It conveys a very poor image for Tesco.

Nice atmosphere and heaps to room to "park" your shopping trolley and still allow other customers to pass. Great hot drinks and muffins, biscuits, cakes etc, plus selection of meals (including kids snack packs) for most tastes and appetites. Good value food, freshly prepared. Clean, tidy, friendly staff.I've often stopped for a drink and cake before or after my shopping - to either get into the shopping frame of mind or to relax after a big family shop. Love that this Tesco store is huge so can get electrical, gifts, food, clothing, shoes etc, followed by the café for that extra relax.

Visited on Monday for a late working breakfast - the food was perhaps what could be reasonably expected from a supermarket food outlet but was not helped by the very slow till service. I cannot understand why four serving and waiting staff can take so long to process orders and take payment from what is essentially a buffet style outlet.I appreciate the low prices but there needs to be a little streamlining of service here..

It does seem as though they are running it purely to make a profit. Gone are the days when it was there keep the customers happy. When the drinks were tha same price as they were in the store, you couldn't get a seat in the place. Now they are the same price as any cafe, it's like a graveyard. Because of this, the hot food always looks past it's best.I only ever go in there if I'm waiting for someone.
