We were talking about the Albion Inn to one of our children and we had arranged to go to Broadstairs that weekend. She said it sounded lovely so we suggested they come down and join us for Sunday lunch. Luckily her husband was not working that Sunday so we rang our other daughter and invited her too! We then rang the Albion and booked a table for 8 of us. Unfortunately this weekend fell when petrol was running out and my husband spent a couple of hours on the Friday trying to get petrol. He went to about 6 different garages with no luck and then the station just next door to our shop had petrol and he managed to fill up otherwise we would not have been able to go. Our daughter who has a 7 seater car and was driving everybody had the same problem. She had driven around most of Saturday and could not get petrol and told us that perhaps we should book the table for just the two of us as she did not think she would make it. However the little love got up at 6.00am Sunday morning and drove around and finally managed to fill up her car so we were all set! The Sunday roast was amazing as always and as there were so many of us (5 adults and 3 children) instead of dishing up the vegetables on the plate as usual they brought them all along in different dishes, which was brilliant as some of the grandchildren do not eat certain things. We also had three gravy boats and two big bowls of cauliflower cheese. Everyone was fighting over this as it is so lovely! This was all washed down with a bottle of Trapiche (an Argentinian Malbec which is very hard to get and if you do find it costs about £28.00 but here it is only £16.50), numerous pints of beer and soft drinks for the kids and my daughter who was driving. My husband had his usual crumble with ice cream and custard and the kids all had ice cream. I then asked for the bill as I had told the family that it was our treat and closed my eyes but it only came to £142.00! Outstanding value for all that food and drinks. Afterwards I went back to the flat, the boys went to watch Arsenal in the pub and the girls and kids went on the beach as the weather was lovely. They thoroughly enjoyed their day and said they would love to come back so sorry if we were a bit loud and messy Albion but we had a brilliant time and everyone left with full tummies feeling very happy. Special thanks to Michael (the gent who before helped me out of my wheelchair in the pouring rain) as he is so lovely.

We had been longing for a re visit here for some time. Absolutely first class in all respects. Thought it would be really quiet for a Wednesday evening but saw around 18 customers attending. Excellent position with it's own well illuminated car park. Choice of al a carte menus with varied set meal choices. Spacious reception bar lounge area where customers can meet and enjoy a welcome drink before being escorted to a very roomy dinning area. Not all crammed in either, plenty of room in which to enjoy a really tasty selection. Really excellent food. Very helpful and pleasant staff. We shall be making this a regular journey.

Nightmare! Booked for my husbands birthday in mid May back in March. Travelled 60 miles and the restaurant is closed No advance notification at all. Truly disappointed

Lovely bakery/cafe. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely lady serving. Delightful service. Excellent freshly ground coffee. My husband’s favourite place for freshly filled rolls.

Drive Thru is never open. Long queues inside.

Horrible place, not any wonder its now closed...Horrible dirty cup which manager refused to change, rude obnoxious staff.

Food was good. My son enjoyed his chicken gougons. Though It'd have been better if came with some peas. I had burger, it was nice, though it did drip some grease which was off putting. Would come again though.

Rude, didn't want to know what I was looking for. We were in the store for 5 minutes and meet 2 members of staff both rude with don't care attitude.so we left.

It was fairly cheap for food and drink however, food was toasted and far too tough, coffee was bitter and weak. Almost every table had empty cups and mugs on with no one cleaning up. Staff were nice.

Compared to Polish restaurants, we didn't have our favorite pizzas here (maybe our tastes are different than on the islands), everything else was very good.

Ordered and was told 1 hour wait , we were happy to accept this order. Food arrived and when my son poured some on his plate the oil swam out of the container before any sauce, the chicken balls were swimming in oil in the bag and the satay sauce was also topped with oil, when I called to let them know I was told ok will do better next time! I explained it was not edible and they could collect it or I would return it, I was told no refund as it’s a £60 order and we can have 10% off next time, I tried to explain what customer service was and having ordered here for over 20 years( aware it has changed hand and telephone staff) I’ve never had to complain. I also stated £6 off when £60 of food was not edible was an insult, and quite frankly do not wish to order from them again, I was told ok sorry to lose you as a customer and hung up on me. I will be returning this food on my way to my night shift and never returning, I accept busy nights things get complacent but rudeness and manners cost nothing

Went there for a spot of lunch,so thought i would have the baked potato with mushroom stroganoff,that was a mistake.One teaspoon full of stroganoff and s potato that must have been cooking for a week,so will not be eating there again and do not recomend the Stroganoff.

The place is divided into two parts as if there were once two places, it did not feel cosy, but then its all about the food, unfortunately whilst adequate it would not tempt me back. My waiter did not seem to have done this before and knew nothing of the menu, maybe it was his first night. Hopefully it will improve.
