To the guy who worked 27th dec all by himself, was amazing. I’ve recently moved to the area and my partner and I found this coffee shop, it’s so lovely and it was the second time we went today. The gentleman was all by himself and he worked very hard even though it was super busy. Overall, service and coffee was EXCELLENT 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Typical English pub. Very good atmosphere, with live music at least on Sundays and with tables outside. Very good.

We had a afternoon tea for my Nans Birthday. Really enjoyable afternoon food was very good. Nice calm relaxed atmosphere very enjoyable would recommend

I visited Funky Flamingo with high hopes, but unfortunately, it fell a bit short of expectations. The atmosphere didn’t quite live up to the "funky" promise, feeling more neutral and lacking the unique flair I was hoping for. The service, while polite, wasn’t particularly engaging or attentive, and I felt that a bit more energy or interaction could have enhanced the overall experience. The food and setting were okay, but nothing stood out. With a few tweaks, this place could potentially be much more memorable, but for now, it felt fairly average.

Nice store but too expensive for me. I use the cafe though despite the freezing air conditioning on cold days! Disabled toilet in ladies fashion area is not assessed by those with knowledge and understanding. The unnecessarily very heavy door doesn't open fully so it's difficult if not impossible for a frail person with a rollator or wheelchair to get in or out without someone holding the door open. Theres no coat hook! Are they expected to put their coats on the floor (not not that they would be able to bend down and pick it up)? We did request that a coat hook be put there months ago and it was promised. Obviously they have no imagination as to what it's like to manage as a disabled person.

1st experiment here and would visit again. Great food and drinks.

Fabulous 'Tipsy Tapas' evening with friends! We booked a table for 9 persons and really enjoyed the 'Tipsy Tapas' experience....food was excellent, service friendly and professional. Drinks flowed for the two hour event, and all of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Highly recommended and great value!

Great place for a few beers on a night out. Big party of 15 and were well looked after.

Lovely little garden to sit and drink tea or enjoy a light bite during warm weather. The tea room itself is a pleasant historic building. The cake and scone that we had were very adequate. Service very slow however and the young people serving needed direction.

You really need to update the pricing on your online menu on your website and google. Don't use Google business, who even uses that, honestly. You will get complaints for this and many other problems. Funnily enough here is one right here. Customer service needs addressing. Uncompromising denial of the existence of a pretty aged menu that is publicly downloadable from Google. Does not put you in a good light. Take this review as help

A truly memorable 60th wedding anniversary lunch for my parents! We had 27 guests, and the restaurant exceeded all expectations. The surprise was perfectly executed, with beautiful decorations provided by the staff. The set menu was delicious and catered to everyone's tastes. The service was exceptional, and we all felt incredibly well looked after. Highly recommend!

Really nice food unfortunately staff pestered you to order drinks followed by more pestering to order starter and main after received bill without even asking for it then staff hovered around our table until we left felt really pressured to leave restaurant was not busy

Garlic Chilli Chicken was out of this world - I asked for it to be spiced up and he said I didn’t need to and he was right 🥵 wife said I still stank two days later! So tasty and there was loads of it. Awesome.
