The best restaurants in Tandridge South East

Quite literally the worst Indian food I have ever eaten. It was so bad that we had to drive back to return it and place an order with a different restaurant. Ordered Pilau rice which appeared to be nothing but plain rice and was terribly soggy. The curries themselves were completely tasteless with absolutely no flavour whatsoever, a very watery consistency and frankly a very odd colour. The naan bread looked to be straight out of a frozen packet that you might expect to buy at a supermarket which had been heated in a microwave, certainly not cooked fresh. When trying to return the food we were confronted with a very rude manager who was vocal about being more concerned with his trading business in the back room than he was with talking to us and had absolutely no intention with dealing with the matter in a proper manner. We eventually were refund only £20 times of our outrageously expensive and disgusting food. Would encourage absolutely no one to eat here.

What a great pub this is. A proper pub in a lovely village. Everyone is so friendly. The staff are magnificent.

Had a lovely family dinner in memory of Sammy mills for her birthday. Connair served us and looked after all 12 of us superbly. Ging him a 10 out of 10. Thanks Connair.

Nice location and ambience however the food is very expensive for relatively simple dishes which appear to have little kitchen skill. For example, salmon with Asian noodles was a simple seared salmon fillet with what tasted like packet noodles with sweet Thai sauce from a jar plus some mange touts overly sweet, presumably UPF sauce ruined it. Definitely did not justify the price. The ham, egg and chips at £19 was a single small slice of ham with gristle centre, two small eggs and a small portion of frozen chips. Our local pub serves a much better version at £13. No decaffeinated coffee left.

Lovely food, service and atmosphere. Good choice on the menu. Temperature in the place was comfortable, seating was comfy too.

I just got there for the first time they give me cold food and old food .. horrible shop

Lovely staff, kitchen was extremely slow or they forgot the order. It was 55 minutes before food came out and it wasn’t busy. Steak had this peculiar hard rim like someone forgot to cut the tendon. Presentation was basic at best. Desert was crème brûlée , meh although orange flavour twist was interesting.

Stay away overcharging people said you pay extra for meat which is fine he charged £6 the same sandwich in London cost £13, he charged almost £20

Dated hotel with good amenities perfect for travel. Hotel has a bar, pub, conseevayory, restaurant, brasserie, and lovely gardens. Rooms past their best, but generally well kept and were clean. Staff were helpful, good breakfast selection. They charge for parking which I think is outrageous but when I raised it they didn't make me pay. Overall a nice option for a pre/post gatwick stay.

Quick stop in the cafe while passing by. Very picturesque charming pub. Efficient table service. Toasted sandwiches and loose leaf tea were very nice although perhaps the bread could have been of better quality. The main food menu sounded great. Busy. Plenty of parking.

What a fabulous treat. Gorgeous food , charming hosts, totally recommend. Nice beers. A fun space for kids too. Homemade pie, different toasties, great chips

I went to costa coffee oxted with my mum today There today I had a muffin which I really enjoyed it was one of the best muffins I have ever had in the whole wide world Also to drink I had a fanta which I really enjoyed it was the best fanta drink I have ever had The staff that work there are very kind lovely friendly The service there is very good amazing wonderful I had a very lovely first experience there today at costa coffee oxted with my mum today This place gets it's very first 5 out of 5 star rating by me Enjoy reading your google review by me Have a lovely rest of your day 5 stars all around
