Cyprium Bar and Grill in Tandridge

Possibly the worst meal I've ever had in a restaurant. £35 for three courses so not particularly cheap. Baba ghanoush was vile, followed by a dusty "wagyu" burger (lies lies lies - no wagyu beef in that burger - Possibly no beef at all) and a brownie Sundae (cheap yellow ice cream- I won't call it vanilla - and shop bought pieces of hard brownie). They should be ashamed to serve this let alone charge for it. I was part of a business conference group, and it was just garbage. I hope my colleagues refused to pay. Most of us didn't even eat the food.

Had breakfast here. There was a great selection of food and drink. Hot food was not very hot but tasty. Service was good, staff were friendly, and helpful.

Average. You expect more from a restaurant in a Marriott hotel. Fish and chips was supposed to be my safest option. 3 out of 4 dishes were good, except the traditional fish and chips. Spaghetti was broken in half!!! Salmon fillet was very good. Also vegan burger but not the french fries. Very friendly staff. Not good value for money. Local fish and chips shop is the best.

Very nice pie, more than decent meal for the price and the hotel is very nice. Friendly staff.

Only there for breakfast after a one night stay - the food was nice, we recommend having a full English 👌

Pretty ok. Not entirely sure the price reflects the quality of the food, but the service is certainly outstanding. Just don't buy drinks there unless you've recently come into a small fortune.

Excellent place and extraordinary atmosphere.

Booked a table for 14 people for a Sunday lunch. We were all sat at the table waiting to order when we were told they hadn't any good in the kitchen and could only offer sandwiches. Of course we left, and had a lovely family lunch elsewhere

Bloody expensive for small portions of not great food. Add the huge wait for the food and high bar priceds.... Confused staff, bit of a captive audiance as you would need to drive or get a taxi to any alternatives. Will not be going back!

Expensive for not very good food,drinks are extortoniant prices, serious lack of staff.

Good food and comfortable surroundings

Literally the worst service I have ever had! Or didn't have more like - our food order was not processed and we were left waiting like lemons. Asked bar staff on 2 occasions how long our food was likely to be - they were only really interested in the drinkers at the bar.

No real system of ordering food. All done from our he bar, on a first come first serve basis, but it depends on whether the one bar person serves customers in order, or just picks them at random. Getting your meal also relies on the bar person remembering who ordered what, as it arrives from the kitchen .

Lively space with open access to view passing race horses. Main public social space of the Marriott hotel so both food and service very good.

Good food , nice place , but only with medium service , maybe I prefer more frienly service versus a correct forms

For a Marriott restaurant it was poor. The kids food was very salty (all 3 dishes that were tried) and both the service and overall ambiance left a lot to be desired. Not up to Marriott standards, which can also be said for a lot of the other aspects too.

Really poor quality of food and customer service.

Very limited choice in vegetarian choice. The whole atmosphere stinks with foul smell. No proper ventilation. The tables are sticky. The chefs have an attitude when asked for vegetarian sausages. There were 2-3 attendants who were really good. Always a long wait although we can see more than half of the hall is empty
