Excellent service and food thanks

Not only are the kebabs here outstanding the staff are friendly and the service is brilliant. I made a huge error ordering online and took home the wrong kebabs, they replaced them “on the house” due to genuine error. They were really delicious also! Great team!

Quick meat and chips in my break, boss was generous with the chilli sauce and chips were crispy on the outside and soft on inside.

Chicken burger is best I’ve ever had. The fillet is massive and deffo fills me up and the pairing with the garlic sauce and lettuce is the best combo for sure! Recommended to everyone

Always a great kebab or burger. The salad is always fresh and the fries well coloured and crispy.

Donner kebabs were chewy and didn't have much flavour

They are lovely guys here and the delivery drivers work hard but the prices are getting ridiculous. We are having this far less than we used to as it’s gone so high and I’m not blown away by the food anymore. £4.40 for 8 rubbish breaded onion rings! I could buy a bag of 30 for about £2. We will be trying another place soon and if they are better and cheaper then we will not be ordering again

ordered 2 kebabs through delivery both kebabs where burnt no pitta breads delivered and they wont do a thing about it

Used to be a massive fan of the Chicken Shish here but the last two times I have been in to get one they take the chicken out of the pot rather than cook it fresh on the grill... this impacts everything.. taste, texture, freshness ect. It's not the cheapest place to eat and I expect freshly made food every time. The donner is about average. My other gripe is the salad. Not very well marinated and the lettuce is not chopped well. You get bits of lettuce that should've been disgarded. Not even sure the salad is washed as I can sometimes taste pesticides on it. When I have mentioned these issues to the people who work there they become very hostile and defensive. Don't cut corners Oxted. I'll be going to try Westerham soon and of there food is better you've lost a regular customer. Fed up with you and your food.

I'm leaving this review as feedback to the proprietors. When I'm considering value I have to imagine what kind of a piece of meat sauces and salad I can gentle for £9, quite a lot. The meat didn't taste grilled. It's like it's been boiled or microwaved. It',s allright but I'm not enjoying it. Wyatt is the point of it didn't have that caramel grilled flavour. I might try it again in six months game. But... I'm not looking forward to it especially, sorry. I'm sure it's grilled a bit. But not much

Food took two hours. The chips were soggy. Kebab burned. You need to spend £20 just to get it delivered. Won’t order again.

Absolutely disgusted by this shop tonight Ordered a chicken burger wrap. The whole burger came in a polystyrene box with the warp on the outside of the box!! Sister ordered vanilla Häagen-Dazs ice cream and they sent chocolate when she’s allergic to the egg in the other flavours. Call them. Was all my fault of course. I shouldn’t have ordered that. Said they’d come back get the ice cream over hours ago give us a refund just for the ice cream. Nothing. Save your money and your Epi-pens

Really sick didn't look cooked chips taste rubber and uncooked taste really sick makes me fell so sick it's so sick I hate this I would never eat this even if I was starving I really would recommend going to cater ham Bosh cabab much better it's open soon

Nice clean shop with friendly staff. The chicken burger is amazing and huge. All the food is good here even the chilli sauce. Cash only.

The Chicken and Lamb shish are always excellent. The donner however is usually cold and not very tasty. I always order the Shish and it's the best I have ever had. The meat appears to be very good quality and the taste is excellent. Prices hqve juat gone up again.. £6,80 for a small doner.. £7.50 for small shish is a but much IMO. Some of the staff are friendly and accommodating, others are rude. Salad is sometimes marinated frest and tasty but sadly not always. Chips are usually good but that's also not always the case. The homemade chick3n burger is usually a good choice. All in all a bit hit and niss really. Would like to have more continuity with better food and good service all the time. Come on guys raise your standards a bit please.

I usually have the chicken shish kebab and it's very nice, good salad and chips nice too. I order by phone and collect our go on and wait. I would never order a kebab to be delivered. No problem so far.

Wanted Doner kebab meat was ready cooked and sitting in warmer, no fresh being cooked (not late about 9.00) had lamb shish meat nice and tender .

Used to be a great place but staff are very rude, got the order wrong and refused to rectify, instead wanting to charge me again. Avoid this place, spend your money with an establishment that would appreciate your custom.

Received order and it was cold and meat very dry 90% of the time the food is lovely but recently things haven't been great

They close when they want, pay no attention to the opening time. If you go and they are open they’ll just lie and say they’re closed.

Don't bother wasting your time. Ordered online before to receive no confirmation text to turn up to a cold order and was told it was ready 20 minutes prior and then told they don't always send confirmation messages so unless you are a mind reader you have no luck. Turned up tonight and they were closing... Google times are wrong.

We ordered a delivery from the website which advised a 30 min delivery time – after 40 mins we called and were told, ‘Oh no – it’ll be another 15 minutes’ – We phoned again after 20 mins, and then were told, ‘it is still being prepared’ – at this stage we checked the order and were advised ‘all ok – and will be with you in about 15 mins’. We called again after we’d been waiting 2 hours and were told that it was ‘on it’s way’ – (we live within ¼ of a mile) Finally, after a total wait of 2 and a half hours the food arrived – not quite even lukewarm and to top it off, the order was wrong! We called to complain, the contempt was unmistakable, and response was ‘well, at least you got some food’ .... we were advised then that the manager / owner wasn’t there so they took my details and he would call back the next day .... despite since calling in on 3 separate days and also emailing, we still have not even had the decency of a reply, a call nor apology.

Ordered from just eat loads of times. Don’t bother. Almost always have something missing from the order and many times we’ve found the portion sizes aren’t consistent and more than once we’ve found large amounts of hair dropped in the food.

Orders food via website at 7.15. Phones at 8.20 was told driver had left. Food arrived at 8.40 and was cold. Phoned and spoke to shop told them it was cold and was told what do you expect it’s cold outside. Asked for a refund and was told to send food back if I wanted a refund. All I can suggest is someone gets some customer service skills.

The chicken is chargrilled and full of flavour, with the salad and no sauce it feels quite healthy! The homemade chicken burger is also great as a treat!

This is the worst service I have ever received. Its a shame as the kebab was amazing, could not fort it. But the bald little midget behind the counter needs his face re arranging. On the fact that the kebab was so good, the customer service has lost a customer. Shouting at me as he never made me aware that he was on a tax dodge and i could only pay cash. Pay your taxes, and get yourself on customer service and anger management course... asap

The large kebabs we ordered were mega, nice freshly cooked meat in a busy place with a good choice of contents, we were stuffed. It's not cheap but it's good quality food.

The attitude, friendliness and the quality of Oxted staff is absolutely superb! The kebab is probably the best I have ever tasted. Even on busy nights they try their hardest to get the food out to customers on time. Amazing service, highly recommended!

Went for a large lamb doner which set me back nearly £8. Never a good sign when they have to fire up the heater to fufil your order. The doner meat was tasteless and dry, and when i say dry i mean dry, no moisture at all and very hard to digest. Will not be going back again thats for sure

I made an order on just eat and when it didn’t arrive I phoned the shop to see how long the order would be and his reply was that I had a wrong order wrong address and never phone there again! They then phoned me back and told me how my order was placed at a wrong address and with a different number to mine and if I wanted to order again it would be £10 extra for waisting there time! Very bad customer service have never had such an experience!

Over priced and bad customer service. Attitude only changed when I mentioned something and even then they seemed like they were being sarcastic.

Always closing early. Last 4 or 5 times I've been there they've told me they're closed, way before time. Went in at 10:15 to be told "We're closed" when supposed to be open until 11pm! Lazy. Really gone downhill since new ownership :(

Ordered a Donner kebab to be told "We don't have any Donner meat. That's right, a Kebab shop doesn't have any Kebab meat, 45 minutes before closing. Not the first time either. Not the best kebabs when you *can* get one, but seriously.

If Oxted had one other Kebab Shop this place would be out of business. The food is average and the service is absolutely terrible. I have often been made to wait 30+ minutes in the shop after having ordered 20mins before over the phone. I won't be going here anymore. Caterham Kebab is just ten minutes down the road and significantly better on the quality of food, the prices and the service.

While it's not the best kebab place in the world the food is ok, on the other hand the wait would be quicker if you went to Turkey trained in the fine art of kebab making and opened your own kebab shop next to this place. If u want to beat the wait time, order over the phone and your be treated with the pleasure of waiting either longer.

We usually use Oxted kebab once a week and have always found it pretty good , never ready when you turn up for collection though ! But despite that food is generally good. Last night we decided to order a takeaway for delivery , they said it would be here within the hour and in fairness to them it was , but when we opened it there were things missing from the order , so we called back and explained that things were missing to be told that we didn’t order that in the first instance ! So a chicken kebab was missing and another had no salad a bit inconvenient but not the end of the world so we asked if they could please redeliver these items to us to be told by the already rude girl on the phone “ yeah but you won’t get it for free !” Well actually we weren’t expecting it for nothing but to be fair it was your cock up ! So to cut a long story short the order was retaken for the bits missing ( no apology ) and we asked how long will it be ? Bearing in mind that everyone else had their food . And that very rude girl replied “ as long as it takes “ !!!! So therefore we will never be using Oxted kebab shop again and if the management read these reviews then I’m sure that we weren’t the only customers that your employee was rude to last night so would suggest that you have a serious word with her as she is losing you business .

Friendly staff, a bit of wait but good food

Good quality take away food. Prices are reasonable and portions generous. All the typical kebab shop menu staples are available including a Haloumi cheese kebab option for vegetarians.

Great tasting kebabs with loads of variations available, there is even a vegetarian one....... Fantastic. I drive all the way to Oxted from Redhill for this take away.

Eat lunch here every so often . Staff are always friendly and food is fast . Kebabs are the right size for me but if you like it large you will be disappointed . £5.30 for a small donner is kinda pricey.. but hey it's Oxted

Always been happy to have a Kebab from here and that's about once a week. The whole family loves it in fact. Dunno about other reviewers but I have never known this place to be shutdown in 20 odd years. I have tried many others and none match up. Staff are nice bunch too.

I order from here often and have noticed a drastic decline in quality and quantity. Tonight's order has topped it for me, stupid pricing for child size portions, and cold at that. What a joke.... I phoned to explain to be told i will be happy next time. There wont be no next time for sure.

This place has become a joke. Before the new guys took over the chicken kebabs and chilli sauce where incredible. The new guys took over and standards remained high and I have visited regularly. Last night, 26/5/17, I ordered a large chicken kebab, it was disgusting. It had hardly any chicken in hardly any salad the chilli sauce was basically a dark tomato sauce. It looked like a small chicken kebab in a large pitta. All this was realised by the time I got home. I tried to call but the guy said he could hear me I tried again. Never again.

Been here several times, great food and friendly service. It's always busy which is a good sign but you're served pretty quickly and food is always freshly cooked.

We regularly frequent the Oxted 'bab house and enjoy the quality across the menu. Can be pricey and easy to over-order chips which come with a lot of the dishes, but good service and great taste.

disappointed, for the price of the food I am ashamed. the meat is dry, the salad has been sitting out all day and catching bactiria and going off. I am never eating there again. however I would have prefured Oxted Charcoal Grill to the new Oxted Kebab House. WHICH is a whole lot worse. #GetGood

This kebab was definitely worth a visit. The chicken burger was the best out of my order we never knew it could taste so good. We also had chicken kebab, chicken and doner combination. The worst kebab ever they cut the Donna meat into small bits so you really get hardly any at all, the biggist kebab is like a small in any other kebab house and they never get the order right if you phone up, total rip of and would never use it again it's worth a 20 drive to Selsdon . If people think oxted kebab house is good they have not lived because it puts shame to a kebab
